Breakwaters
CLOSED BETA/EARLY ACCESS REVIEW!
So I was lucky to be one of the people being able to play around with the closed beta and even though we didn’t have access to all the EA content and even though we ran into quite a few bugs at the time (most of whom have been fixed or being worked on right now), I had a ton of fun playing this.
It’s a relaxing survival and exploration sim with many things to explore, craft and build.
The water physics are amazing. You can basically manipulate the water to do anything, if you know how.

Got an early review copy and was excited to try this as it had been on my radar since seeing the trailer earlier this year. Unfortunately the flaws became readily apparent pretty quickly.
Pros:
-
Looks nice
-
Water mechanics are interesting
-
Gathering resources and crafting are easy
-
Armor and weapons don’t lose durability
Cons:
-
Movement feels really off
-
Even after lowering the sensitivity the camera is still way too fast
-
Combat is not good at all, there’s no blocking, dodging or rolling and enemies have very basic attack patterns

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince
Playing Trine 4 right after Finishing T1,2 and 3.. The revert and a step back to Trine 2 design rejuvenate my faith for the game.
First of all, the concerning about Trine 4 continuing what they did in Trine 3 is gone. Trine 3 never existed in Trine 4 universe other than the inherrited assets and ideas (which also ruined Trine 4 in a way).
The Devs start a new story in Trine 4 with nothing related to Trine 3. Trine 3 never existed. You don’t get to see the ending of Trine 3, but you also don’t have to worry about getting half a game continued from a previous badly made one. This here is a full game of its own.

achievements
easy 100% - achievements order you to either finish a level or collect all obtainables. plenty of guides, plus it isn’t hard to find them on your own. DLC doesn’t contain any achievements, so you may skip it and still get 100% (unlike in Trine 2)
Trine 2 or Trine 4?
any of them will be good. Trine 4 has better graphics, polished HUD and better UX; Trine 2 has a better puzzle-combat flow. in other words one game nailed the presentation, another got gameplay right - but either of them will be a nice choice. I prefer Trine 2, tho

Solitude
Solitude is a cooperative multiplayer action survival game. Played from a first person perspective on your own with bots or with friends, you play as part of the crew of the Solitude and find yourself stranded on the other side of the galaxy as a result of the failure of the first full-scale faster than light warp test. The crew must defend themselves from previously unknown alien races and navigate difficult spatial anomalies but, in the end, will that be enough to get home?

Dawn of the Falkonir
Someone dropped the money to put this on Steam so I could clap my wings as a birb & kill skellies. That’s more than I expected and all I needed.
thx :)

It’s a school project yo, lighten up. Had fun playing as Horu with a friend and I hope the developers take pride in their hard work on this game.

We Were Here Too
Great game!! The sequel to We Were Here, We Were Here Too is another series of escape rooms within the same castle (there are HINTS of a story). This one felt slightly less intuitive than We Were Here, although my friend and I didn’t really get hung up on any of the puzzles. When we did it was either because we did a bad job at describing something or because we didn’t communicate a detail that we didn’t realize was important and/or different for each player. There were timers on a lot of the puzzles that honestly were just sort of annoying. They were clearly there to increase the difficulty, but they didn’t. It often just resulted in us having to re-do puzzles we knew how to do, but ran out of time on. Or screwed up, because we were rushing. The maze puzzle in particular – there’s really no room for error.

The first game was a great time, Unfortunately We Were Here Too is a buggy MESS.
-Both me and my friend were unable to ever resume games we started and were forced to start the whole game over and finish it in one sitting
- The cube puzzle is just broken, sometimes after interacting with it, it doesn’t enlarge the cube for you to examine it OR you just immediately pick it up OR your guy just throws it on the ground. Steam has better item manipulation in their TRADING CARDS than this game does when you need to look at a bloody cube!!

This game is beautiful. I was immersed every second of it and it gave me the feels.
Playing it with a best friend or someone you’re very close to hits on a whole different level.
It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had so far, it makes me crave more games like this.
If you have a close friend and you’re looking for something to co-play together, this will be a wonderful time for you.

Beautiful lady in the woods. Thats it.
The rest is an unoptimized simple wave shooter where you get points to buy new cosmetics for the lady.
No free movement only teleport to specific locations.
The most interesting of course is the bikini but for that you need 35K points for one level.
Since you cant choose difficulty until you completed 3 areas on easy which will reward you around 500ish points that means you have to complete all 3 areas 3 times just for that simply unlock.

違う冬のぼくら/BOKURA
“BOKURA” is a puzzle adventure game for 2 players only.
Each player will be two boys who have run away from home, and move forward toward “somewhere far”.
There are many stages ahead of them that can only be overcome by their cooperation. By solving gimmicks that require inspiration, ingenuity, and communication, and capturing the stage, you can experience the story of two boys running away from home.
“I’m going somewhere far away, will you come too?”
The boy nodded. I wanted to know how far “somewhere far” is.
