Awsome arcade classics, on rails shooters. Had the first one on mobile and glad they are both on steam now,but just a bit of a shame they have not been updated with better graphics or remastered.
But if you like arcade games and on rails shooters, then you should love this.
Oh, and the soundtrack is cool to. 😊

Sniper Ships: Shoot’em Up on Rails
Very cool! A good mix of FPS with shoot up, with a very psychedelic look, is quite challenging. These neon lights look like 80s movies trying to imagine what the future looks like

Really cool shooter game, flashy LSD visuals, two shooting patterns, one frontal and one mouse driven, very hard, but very satisfying to play. Climb the leaderboards, fight harder and harder challenges. The Shooting Ships bundle is really filled with little delightful gems!

VIRTUAL SOLDIERS
It is FINE.
There are 6 levels that take about 3-4 minutes each to complete.
The environment IS destructible but the screen is often so busy as to not matter.
For $10, there just isn’t enough content here.
For $1, I would probably give it a thumbs up, at $10, I have to give it a thumbs down.

Darkness Rollercoaster - Ultimate Shooter Edition
Decent game ! Very funny and very impressive virtual reality game, the immersion is real and intensive.
It feels pretty good to play it alone or with some friends.
The game is still in an early BETA access and I’m not disappointed at all, I highly recommend this game for virtual reality amateurs and to be honnest he’s pretty cheap for a virtual reality game !

In VR I particularly like good coaster rides and also shooters. So with Darkness Rollercoaster you have a combination of both genres. So far have played for several hours, and generally pleased with the quality and value, particularly considering the developers to their credit appear pro-active with quick resolution of an initial problem (blockage on Fantasy track) and promise of more to come.
What I like about this game is the variety of environments, the explore ‘no guns’ modes, the random generated tracks, and the overall fun provided. The Adventure tracks is particularly good, the Fantasy not too far behind, the Binary and Space lands providing a different less coaster ride feel. Incidentally thought the Binary City amazing, and would welcome expansion of this element. For the future developers may wish to consider adding further themes along the lines of an undersea dark cavernous track, an Indiana Jones style jewel mine track, or an indoor huge ghost manor (light) horror themed track.

Escape from Terror City
Review after completing hard mode.
I’m a renegade sector shill and usually like everything they put out, but I have a hard time recommending them to people. They tend to be interesting and fun design wise but lack the content and polish to justify their usually high prices. This is the first game from the dev that I think is worth the price asked even if you aren’t already a fan of the dev.
Very interesting take on cabal style shooters. Definitely leans more into the bullet hell aspect of games like Thunder Kid which is good IMO since the bosses of those games far outshined the platforming. For Escape from Terror City, the stage design is excellent in addition to the bosses due to the more focused bullet hell gameplay.

Hot Dam is this game fun!
It reminds me of contra or metal slug, but in a 3d world environment. Sure it may not have as much polish as a shoe from the 18th century, but there wasnt any glaring flaws. I had the camera clip in to a wall while playing when i got to close the the back wall of a certian part of a map, only ran in to it once, and when i did, i just moved fowards a little bit and i was back to seeing the whole game.
The level design is amazing, and what i mean by this is, every level has a choice for its path, theres a fork where you can choose where to go, you will get some unique mini boss’s then it will branch back with the other path before the final boss of the level.

Void Source
A 30-40 minute game which tries to do many things, but doesn’t do much right. There is no fun to be found.
it sells itself as an EA game, but there were no updates for the past 9 months. It is what it is - a crude all-around unfinished game with random unpolished content.

This game is very easy. I got all achievements in less than two hours.
As a shooting game, it has good graphics and exciting musics.
Player can select a lot of weapon types and many game modes. It also includes an interesting level editor.
If you don’t mind about the very slowly move and battle speed, it will be a good game for everyone.

Astrodogs
TL;DR : Never played a StarFox game, but this goofy, chill little dog game makes me want to.
What is this funny little dog shooty game?
Astrodogs is a 3D, forward moving, on-rails shooter with enough charm to change your attitude for the entire day. The game revolves around 8 or so small stages with unique aesthetics, designs, music, enemies and bosses. (My personal favourites are Barkstille and Barkadia.)
I’ve never played something like this before, is it difficult?
At first, yes. But if you keep at it, you’ll learn the levels, you’ll learn the 5 techniques you need to know (4 different “special” attacks and a bullet-time mechanic). The bosses all have a gimmick to them which at first, is SUPER annoying, because you’ll be tanking damage and dealing none, but you’ll figure it out and feel like even Einstein is no match for your superior intellect.

As a die hard fan of Star-Fox. There hasnt been any games to come out that capture the on rails space shooting magic. This game does! I love the levels, music, controls and overall humour. A real treat!
