Intensive Exposure
It’s rare to find a game that encapsulates the existential angst of 21st century life; that brings the player near enough to the brink of the abyss that they realise that the abyss is also looking at them; to vividly expose the hard truth that whatever makes you stronger may get you killed.
In this multi-layered psychological RPG, the player finds himself exposed to the searching glances of his fellow human beings and has to deal with the shock and hostility that often results from baring one’s soul and exposing the naked self. And truthfully, which of us can claim that we have never been in many of these ‘game’ situations in real life? Which of us has not occasionally dressed up as Batman and run around the office showing the shocking truth that lies behind the cape? Are there any of us who have never dressed as a gorilla and run around the supermarket showing our banana to the checkout girls? I know I certainly have.

In a time where big game producers make games with so much content, (that you usually have to fork out way too much to get all of it and not much in the way of gameplay or replay value) there are little gems out there to buy like this.
Harking back to a bygone age, where arcade machines provided simple addictive gameplay Intensive Exposure is a cheeky nod to classic games like Mikey and Pacman.
Now for just over 3 quid you can’t go wrong and in my eyes you’ll probably end up playing this alot more than some so called triple A titles.

At the time of review, I have only played this for an hour.. I plan to play it more in the coming days, but wanted to share the experience thus far. I am giving this game a positive review because I think it does a lot of things right, and the idea is something I want expanded on more.
With $5 and an open mind, I really do believe you will get your money’s worth.
Pros:
1. Combat feels really good to me. I love how powerful the dashes (shift by default) feel. I’ve only faced a few beginner mobs so far, but they all have unique attack patterns. Unless I’m swarmed with enemies, the combat always makes me feel in control.

I just tried the early access version and can see that I definitely will want to play this AFTER they finish it, Playing with a keyboard is something I’ve never been able to do and at the time I tried the game playing with a controller hasn’t been finished. This game intrigues me and I will be watching to see when it has improved enough that a controller can be used so I can give it a better review. So far, I believe this will be a thumbs up for me.

Seriously though I wanted to write a small review while the winter sale was still running, but I didn’t want to stop 100%ing the game. Gameplay time is a little bloated due to idling, the save time was around 11 hours.
Story: Talk to people in towns to find about locations in the general area. Go in them rip and tear. Do the same in the next map until..!
Gameplay is on the basic and easy side. Jump and move around to avoid damage while spanking the monsters enough to almost stunlock them. You can also place some bombs and traps for monsters and bosses to slam/run into, but its not really required. Never felt frustated due to the controls here. Do make sure to check the control scheme in the menu though as it was something weird for my old 360 controller maybe due to button placement differences.

A good game, not great, but atleast it good compare to many today’s RPGs. but there is something that i dont like:
- Maps too small (maps that have enemies), you cant run freely without pump into walls, or even worse, pump to the entrance to the other maps, which will make you lose all item that dropped on that map. Small maps also lead to another problem, the fighting style restricted, this game have many fighting style, yet the maps are too small so many of the style (especially the mobility style) are surprisingly weak (unbalance).

Edit: It’s become one of my favorite games on Steam! You will really have to think to beat the higher difficulty levels.
It’s a good idea, realize the execution is currently very crude, and English descriptions are laughable. ; - ) almost returned it, but I’m hoping it will continue evolving.
There are some aspects of Tetris (or more accurately Rampart) in the placement phases.
it would be better to have more tiles, as it’s easy to trap yourself with a layout you can’t expand. Edit: You will learn that you can remove the bases and relocate them! Do this wisely for better chance of survival.

If you’re a native English speaker like myself, you might have an issue locating the button to select language. It’s a small hurdle. Apart from that, once you get an idea of what you’re doing in this game, it becomes extremely interesting. You start your little game being able to flip over three tiles, which you can select one of as your turret of choice. It doesn’t end there, and if you think your level one turret will end up just taking space, it won’t. Once you get enough turrets that fit into a crafting recipe, it’ll wipe those tiny little baby turrets out and replace it with a turret with more hair on its chest than Austin Powers'.
