I am not a big an of Visual Novels at all. They are either Kinetic Novels (you just blaze trough it with no decisions), or you can see how they are going to end just from the first few minutes of the game. There are exceptions (Clannad, MuvLuv, etc..), but these are rare here on Steam (and expensive).
If we take a look on the cheaper ones you will always see games like the Winged Cloud VNs, or these really, really cheap ones.
But this game, Wolf Tails, really shows me that there are still good VNs for a small amount of money. The story about a Wolfgirl who is looking for shelter in your house, while a blizzard is going on outside, is so sweet and nicely done that it nearly makes me want to cry for joy. I wont tell anything about the story! It is a bit short, but the multiple endings and different choices are always a way to start again. You can also choose your gender in the beginning, which also changes the interaction between the characters!

Wolf Tails is a romantic comedy story with some dark “bad” endings if you pick the wrong choices at certain events. Luckily for those that don’t like getting the bad endings, they are pretty obviously spotted out. When you hit start, you’re given the option to pick your character’s name and gender. You live out in the middle of nowhere, all alone, and get home one day to find your back door open with foot prints on the floor. Creepy start for an otherwise romantic story IMO. Through various happenings, you get 2 house guests, one that wants nothing more then to stay, and the other wants to leave as soon as possible. The game is full of cute, funny, romantic moments… as well as serious moments about the consequences of our actions. Needless to say, becoming a wolf girl’s mate, means joining her pack. Sounds dangerous when wolves and humans don’t generally get along. It’s an endearing story about realizing your feelings for someone, making sacrifices to be together, and putting in the effort to make it work. The adult patch adds a few things to the story including a big scene at the end. It was extremely well done and felt natural to be there, instead of shoehorned in like other things I’ve seen. To add to that, the ability to pick your characters gender, actually changes the dialogue a bit, and the endings quite a bit. The game defaults to male, but when you pick female, the story turns into a romantic GxG love story. And yes, being a wolf girl’s mate is still the good ending. I played both genders and thought that both sides were extremely well written. I loved the characters interactions and watching how their relationships developed. I thank the creators. This game is a true gem and well worth the price.

My First Senran Kagura game. I had way more fun than I expected. Simple yet satisfying combat with tons of cute girls and fan service. It’s meant to be played by shutting your brain off and just enjoying the game for what it is.

SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal
Overall, this is the best Senran Kagura game, but with a few caveats.
Senran Kagura: Burst Re:Newal is a complete remake of Senran Kagura: Burst which was a side-scrolling beat ‘em up on Nintendo 3DS and the first game in the Senran Kagura series. The story is the same but everything else was rebuilt from the ground up. If you’re new to the series I recommend starting here. Being the latest entry, Burst Re:Newal has by far the best graphics and gameplay out of all mainline Senran Kagura games, and the story takes you all the way to the beginning and does a very good job of introducing the setting and characters.

Yes, big busted lewd ninjas come with a story somewhat continuing throughout the main games of the series. If you care about understanding the later ones, you should know the prior ones.
All side games though are spinoffs not really needing any knowledge, but they basically play after the main series.

this game doesn’t even need review, if you found yourself here, you must be at least somewhat interested in those kinds of games, and this one is pretty damn good. just gotta keep in mind all kagura games need patch from their site to unlock all the content

The addition of the ability to use your mouse to control the game was a massive Improvement in my opinion. KB just never quite felt fluid enough… That said, some players might find the challenge greatly reduced.. It did make the game much easier, if you seek challenge stick to the keyboard.
I hope the developer makes some money and sells additional levels as DLC, I will happily support this game.
Part of me feels like I should be ashamed of myself, but this game is too much fun for me to care.

A game that is only playable by being broken.
Let’s not beat around the bush. This game is broken. It’s stilted, slow, poor on the response, and just… full of issues.
By default, your paddle is controlled by your keyboard. Cool. Except when you do this, it moves too slow to be useful. However, you can switch it to Mouse controls(which inexplicably doesn’t take control in the menus either, still requiring keyboard input), which allows you to quickly go from one side of the screen to the other. Which should make the game easier, right? Nope. The game doesn’t capture the cursor, so it’s free to leave the game window, which of course stops controlling the paddle. Oh, and yes, when you click outside of the game, it does not pause, so by the time you get back to the game, even a second or two, you’ve lost a life. Couple this with the fact that the bouncing is sometimes completely random, both in direction and speed increase, and that sometimes the game will just not register a block being destroyed when its hit on its corner(I get the feeling there’s about a pixel of failure-to-overlap in the fields there), and the game just feels like a beta that isn’t getting the support or attention it really needs to improve.

Yokai’s Secret. It’s the casual puzzle game with pretty anime girls. In this game, you have to solve the color-arrangement puzzles for meeting your cute Yokai girls. There are five stages for each heroine. When you complete them, the secret H-event is opened in the gallery(book) mode. Each character has the partial voice and 2D live animation. Character illustration is good overall and has nice quality. Let’s have the wonderful moments with Miss Neko team again! ヽ(=´▽’=)ﾉ

Top notch art and great music combine to bring a pleasant Japanese atmosphere. Simplistic storytelling. The story will likely not grab your attention. Gameplay boils down to moving colored blocks around to form a gradient. The puzzles are made trivial by a sound cue telling you when a block is placed on the correct spot, meaning you can just randomly move blocks until you hear the cue. This will allow you to complete puzzles well below the target time. In actuality the sound cue is a positive feature making the game more accessible. Challenge was never the aim considering you can press “S” to summon a kitty to either auto-complete the puzzle for you or give you a hint. Overall it’s a short but fun game, it’s worth it for the art and music alone.

Foto Flash is a classic little adventure game, just like the old ones we used to play on our browsers back in the day, you walk on the city going after objects that can solve a problem that lets you get another object and so on, that is, until one of those problems you solved get you a photo of a girl for the magazine you work for, get 10 photos, win the game, really simple, really fun, really nostalgic.

Responsible Use Of Hentai Powers
This game is incredible in that, the game is all about how to not be a hentai baka, and instead how to be a hentai tensai. For you gaijin, that’s genius in the Nippon. For those gaijin still out there, that’s Japan in Japanese. Anyway. What’s this game? It’s a hentai game. but super tasteful, and beautiful. Like the art, omg so pretty and cute. I love it. It’s also pretty tasteful. You are a photographer for a pinup magazine, so you go around being a true communist, helping everyone, and then getting pin up photos for the magazine. It’s not super long. I know my play-thorough took 6.6 hours, but I literally played it while at work, so much of the pauses ended up adding to the total playtime.

Max Gentlemen Sexy Business!
TL: DR version - bought the game to support the youtube/streamer Jesse Cox for his first produced game, ended up playing it like crazy for the business management part of the game and eventually 100%-ing it.
And now, as it is customary for my reviews, the good and the bad.
The GOOD:
1. Extremely engaging gameplay - unless you are playing the game absolutely casually, you will really need to think on your feet and do all the necessary calculations in your head in advance if you want to min-max properly.

I went into this game completely blind. I have not played the previous game in this series by the ominously titled developers The Men Who Wear Many Hats. After playing Max Gentleman: Sexy Business, I might have to go check out the original Max Gentleman game. It is free. What do I have to lose? Regardless, I have a lot of time invested in this game and learning its systems, so I feel that I can provide an honest opinion about this game.
Max Gentleman: Sexy Business is an idle/strategy game with elements of visual novels and dating simulators. The game starts with you creating your own “gentsona” which you will use to take back back your stolen family riches by forming a business, fighting against rival business, improving your executives, and paying off loans in order to defeat the vile and slimy Cashious Villionaire. The plot to the game is easy to follow and there is plenty of comical dialogue to read that helps to pull you into the world and characters. At the same time, reading the dialogue is not essential to playing and beating the game, so dialogue can be skipped for the least astute. However, I recommend that you do not skip the dialogue because it is cleverly written, hilarious, and… surprisingly steamy. The game is called SEXY Business after all. Along with managing your executives and running a business suitable for crushing your rivals, you also will be given opportunities to go on dates with executives to get to know them better and to unlock outfits for them, ranging from comical cosplay to complete full-frontal nudity. Moving forward, this review will be divided into two sections; SEXY and BUSINESS.

Love n War: Warlord by Chance
Good, definitely better than previous game.
Better gameplay, however there are few mission that seems either rigged or favored, for example for almost every last mission of getting “boss” you will get infinite amount of deployment points and the rigged part is when you play hard mode the AI starts to summons faster more than you can deploy.
I don’t know what’s the differences between playing hard or normal other than this factor.
The H-scene seems redundant, specially the story line, while it exist, it really have no value of progressing the story you can choose whatever you want, and it will get the same results, and there is one girl that have no independent scene.

The game mechanics are similar to the previous game but expanded. More units, more upgrades (gems), secondary heroes with passive bonuses, primary heroes with additional passive bonuses, lot of missions, more battle modes (big battles too) and more women. This is both summary and a list of positives.
More girls mean the attention both in story and scenes is spread more thinly. Some of them appear more often than others. The supposed “main interest” Ah Cy is not that great compared to other girls (my opinion).

How to Raise a Wolf Girl
Finally Sekai Project publishes a game about something other than nekogirl. NEKOPARA and NEKO-Nin were all amazing, but a deviation is appreciated.
Type: kinetic VN
! (only 1 ending with a bonus postscript) that takes 4-6 hours only. There are choices, but it’s about H-scene or go on with the story. In my opinion, it is highly recommended to backtrack after 3 min to finish all choices, as they merge back quite quickly.
**Plot (non-spoiler):**the problem was good and half-unexpected, but the solution to it was quite bland
