Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad
This year was my freshman year at college. I was in a new environment, without any friends, studying a degree that was created last year. The success of the degree itself is largely uncertain, but it’s what I’m passionate about, so that’s gotta count for something -right?
The first couple weeks of college were dull and uneventful. I would wake up, shower, have breakfast, leave for my lectures. Cruise through the day, learning and working well. When I got home I would type my notes, have some food, and then work on any assignments -if there were no assignments due, I would watch some TV or jam something on Steam.

One of the greatest games i’ve ever played in my life, My father was lost during the war so I never had the chance to shower with him. Now that i’m 22 years old i’ve always felt as if something was missing in my life. This game has filled the void.
Edit: For those who are unaware, my goal is to hit 10,000 hours within the game, because then, by Gladwell’s standards I have mastered showering with my Dad.
Edit: We have hit the 7,000 hours mark, only 3,000 hours left! I started this journey roughly 10 months ago and I must say that I am very greatful to all of the support from the showering community, i’ve received some very kind motivation from many people. This has honestly been a life changing experience for me and again thank you everyone for following me on this path to enlightenment

Epic of Serinor: Dawnshadow
I slept with my raptor to spite the god of shadows and monsters.
An interesting game that takes parts of Pokemon (you capture dinosaurs to fight for you), FF (your weapons and armor customize your class), and MMO’s (you auto-attack and manage MP for critical fights). The game follows an intersting story of an unwilling protagonist trapped in torment by the god of shadows and monsters who is trying to break free but just keeps dying. So don’t be afraid to die as the story is told through deaths and repeating the same initial areas but constantly expanding into new territory.

A really fun game with some really cool characters and an enjoyably written story, with a setting I’m having a lot of fun diving into and exploring. The game in general is something akin to a mix of old DOS-RPGs and pokemon, with a complex material crafting system on top, as well as deep and reactive dialogue. All in all, I really do recommend Epic of Serinor: Dawnshadow.

Kio’s Adventure
Kio’s Adventure centers around a young girl named Kio lost in a world gone mad after a mysterious earthquake ravages her hometown. Though she may appear helpless at first, our protagonist is actually quite brave in the face of adversity, and determined in her quest to save her friends no matter the cost. It’s difficult to comprehend the true hell of the “adventure” Kio is put through in this game. I really grew to like this character with her quick-witted attitude and unwillingness to give up. I was truly rooting for her victory. But, we don’t always get what we want.

Lemme preface this by saying that I did not go into this expecting horror or anything especially dark or gritty, but rather as a person who’s played just about every guro/ryona game under the sun. I call them like I see them and unfortunately, Kio’s Adventure was not a particularly fun one. Even as a joke. Even as a two dollar joke.
If you like ryonage and haven’t gotten around to this then it might be worth your time (big emphasis on ‘might’). It’s like a complete Demonophobia with a touch of The Witch’s House with overall quality somewhere in-between… but skewing heavily towards the former (bad). It’s an objectively poor game, but you could squeeze some fun out of it if you’re into this sort of thing. What ‘sort of thing’? Well, you know.

My Work Is Not Yet Done
My Work Is Not Yet Done is a pilgrimage simulator following the final days of the inquisitor Avery, the last remaining survivor of the Empire’s doomed excursionary efforts into the remote and unaccountable Reach. Tasked with tracking down the source of an inscrutable signal, she must navigate, survey and survive an eerie, ever-shifting landscape reclaimed by nature — and perhaps something stranger.
My Work Is Not Yet Done seeks to provide a unique and innovative take on the survival genre aimed at accurately reproducing the physical and psychological experience of being alone in the wilderness, resituating the player’s role within nature as an interloper rather than conquistador. The game is set in an expansive open world environment that eschews the genre tropes of cold weather survival for a dense, oppressively rainy and humid forest, seamlessly blending procedural generation with a variety of handcrafted locations to ensure a sense of constant disorientation even across repeat playthroughs.
It is part of an ongoing series of works within a larger shared universe dedicated to examining questions of theological and cosmic horror: issues such as faith, weakness, devotion and loneliness — and the concomitant suffering contingent to such experiences.
Features
-
Combat-less exploration and survival gameplay, based on authentic bushcraft and land navigation techniques
-
Deep, systemically-reactive survival simulation mechanics, focusing on both physical and psychic conditions
-
A beautiful and expansive open world featuring real-time weather, atmospheric conditions, and day/night progression
-
Dynamic environments that react to the player’s condition and behaviour
-
Stark, striking 1-bit visuals, with an immersive HUD (and no hunger/thirst meters)
-
A free-form unscripted narrative experience built around emergent gameplay and ambient lore

“Nice Ecchi Puzzle Adventure!”
- Official Bonus Patch : https://kaguragames.com/alternatedimansiondiary-patch/
Alternate DiMansion Diary. It’s an ecchi puzzle adventure game. Its puzzle designs are intuitive and interesting. And they fit appropriately with the storytelling of this game. Above all, its pixel dot art is pretty delicate and cute. In addition, since these dot animations add character voice in H events, this game is definitely a nice game to try. Nyanco-chan Recommends This Game!

Bastard Bonds
Don’t get me wrong: I know what it looks like on the surface: an adult dating sim with rpg mechanics. But trust me, it is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!! Unbelievable depth in characters, worldbuilding, lore, and story, with complicated interactions and moral implications, this game stunned me with it’s intricate depth and detail, all against a backdrop of incredibly gorgeous pixel art and digital portraits!
-So, out of the way upfront: Yes, this is an adult rpg with some lgbt themes, made by a well-known lgbt adult artist. That said, it is largely not a factor in gameplay, most scenes are minimum T-rated, and the sexual content is not very explicit at all. I was actually surprised with how little sexual content was in game to proportion to how much gameplay and mechanics there was involved, and honestly the sexual content is so light and non-intrusive that it was almost never a distraction from the story or gameplay. Yes there is some light pixel nudity in some of the character models and monster skins, but much of it is de-emphasized in favor of focusing on plot and gameplay, feeling more like fan-service addons. I loved how, despite having such great art, the game creator was dedicated to creating a solid game experience over inclusion of overly-gratuitous sexual content.

TL,DR: Tactical RPG that doesn’t do much hand-holding (the tutorial really could be improved), has R-rated graphics even though they’re not the focus, but can really draw you in, reward you for tinkering with the skills, and even grab your heartstrings if you read into the lore, character and world interactions you can find in the levels. Common turn-offs: Pixel art, nudity, turn-based, sexual innuendo, lots of combat, implications and mild descriptions of heinous crimes.
Combat: 8/10. Turn-based, a little predictable at times, and there are some areas you can cheese enemies, but quite solid.

NSFW ~ Not a Simulator For Working
Have you ever wanted to try to do little naughty thing on your workplace? Or doing some unrelated things to distract your workload? And yet you totally don’t want to taint your real-life career?
YES this game is perfect for you!
People who knows how stressfull workplace can do for your mental could relate to this game so much. Heck, even people who haven’t work yet can relate this so much. Everyone loves thrills, right?
So to make it simple, the purpose of this game is to make you looks like working with styles; and you must keep your mental healthy by doing “fun things”. It’s casual game, yet it has complex details. The variety of videos and little comedy on it are interesting. Fitures to interact with workmates is refreshing. Plus, retro 8-bit style have its own charms for sure.

Oh boy, this game knows how to make its player’s salty - and that’s not a bad thing.
I finished this game in about 5.5 hours, but you could pretty easily do it in one sitting if you really know what you’re doing.
The character design is extremely charming, and despite the simple style and ‘story’, it still allows for dynamic and different characters.
There are some translation issues (the game was originally in Indo.), but this is commonplace for translated indie games. It’s not an issue and overall does not impede understanding or gameplay.

Cover Your Eyes
(Video review via the following link https://youtu.be/KmlMnGceruQ - this post is really just to shed a little more light on the game and offer my Steam recommendation).
The dev was kind enough to reach out to me to cover this game on the channel, and all in all I like it a lot.
There are some ‘first time’ blips on the radar that crop up, and at times it can be frustrating, but if you’re a fan of indie/RPG Maker horror with some action thrown into the mix Cover Your Eyes is definitely worth a try.

My playtime: 07:32:14 (based on in-game clock, last save before the final boss)
Intro
Cover Your Eyes is an adventure RPG Maker game with a shooting element. Despite being tagged as a horror game, the game isn’t scary at all.
Pros:
-
A lot of weapons to use
-
Various enemies to beat
Cons:
-
Character is walking too slowly, especially with the limited dash
-
Pauses between dialogues hurt immersion when reading the story
-
The game feels repetitive after you play it for a while

One thing I will say first is that for people looking to see if you need to play the original before this… you don’t necessarily. It has some references here and there, but you by no means need to play the first game in the series.
With that being said, however, just like the first game, it is recommended to use some sort of guide or hints to finish this game, otherwise I can’t really guarantee you’ll enjoy this game very much unless you grew up in the era in which it released. It has very old-fashioned adventure gameplay mechanics that haven’t aged well such as dead ends that make the game unwinnable based on pretty ludicrous things you may have missed… even the official hint guide taunts you with these.
