Starlight Vega
I’ve just finished the game, and it’s not worth the price.
Don’t get me wrong; it isn’t a terrible game. As far as visual novels go, it isn’t too bad. The soundtrack is mostly forgettable. The best thing about this visual novel was the art, I think.
Let’s start with the basics; character and plot. The characters, as most characters go, are fairly cliche; that’s nothing too bad, though. It’s really difficult to come up with original characters nowadays; what matters more is what you do with them. The protagonist caught my interest; while nothing innovative, she is a solid and relatable female lead, somewhat intelligent and quirky enough to keep my interest.

If you have any amount of interest in yuri, buy this. Yes, it’s worth the full price of $15 USD. Just buy it.
Starlight Vega is a fairly light hearted love comedy with LOTS of yuri in it. Just subtext? No! This is 100% bona fide yuri with love confessions, kissing, and PG-13 love scenes. (I would still not play this in front of your parents.) Art-wise, it’s adequate enough. It’s not bad, just adequate. Soundtrack is enough to set the mood. A single run through can easily be done under 7 hours depending on how fast you read. A complete run with old scene skipping took me 12 hours for all endings. Now for the nitpickings.

Evil Maze
I did not enjoy myself while playing this game. The dark theme was a nice touch compared to the usual bright RPGmaker games but that didn’t carry the game enough for me to enjoy this. You start at level 10? on the bottom of what I can only guess is a 10 floor dungeon. I got to the 3rd (7th) floor before I stopped playing
The combat is a simple swing harder and faster than the enemy before it kills you, that’s kind of the theme with most RPG games but in this game you seem to take damage from out of nowhere, and the enemies have no swing animations. This makes it really hard to know where it is safe to stand and what is damaging you. On top of all this, some enemies are massive damage sponges, I was swinging into a 200 health normal enemy doing 7 damage and not every attack was hitting.

Intro
EvilMaze is a hack and slash RPG Maker game with a heroine with big boobs. The only character potrait that this game has is the heroine and both of her potrait and sprite will change based on her equipments. Most of the equipments will have a lack of clothes. On the other side, there are a lot of hidden “secrets” in this game.

I ignored the bad reviews. Didn’t even read them. “They must be exaggerating, a game with a catgirl can’t be a bad game”. But it was. Lesson learned: never buy a game just because there’s an anime girl in it.

Cinderella Escape! R12
This game is a puzzle-based game with a tinge of eroge, well more on the bondage and torture part. However, due to Steam regulations, the one here is the R12 version, not the R18. There’s not much difference between the two, except the R18 have the secret chamber, where you can torture Cinderella for your viewing pleasure (and I DO mean pleasure), and additional costumes.
Gameplay wise, its a basic puzzle solving game. Move blocks here and there to create a pathway to reach your goal. At certain points (end of sub-level), you will get a bonus objective of rescuing your step-relatives from being tortured, but the catch is that you will be tortured in their place. Don’t worry, you can escape from it. You can change the camera angle and view perspective to see where is the goal of the map. This is really much needed, as sometimes it may be obscured by obstacle.

I wish I could give this game more of a neutral rating vs a yes or no type recommendation, but alas I can’t. So, I’ll simply leave a positive and let you decide from reviews.
–—-
This isn’t your average Cinderella story. There really isn’t much of a story itself for this game. Which I guess is because this game was originally an H-game. The removal of some of that material I belive didn’t effect the game at all. So, if you aren’t interested in that type of thing then this is the version for you. If you like those type of things I’d advise buying the R18 addition and forget about the Steam version unless you want to further support the devoloper and want Steam achievements. Despite all the hate on this game there is no nudity and honestly not dirty content at all.

Demoniaca: Everlasting Night
I haven’t finished it, I’ll update if I find anything noteworthy later in the game.
There is R rated content, turn it on in the settings.
This game is playable, enjoyable, and quite unique. Very, unique, far more so than it might seem at first glance, some interesting enemy designs populate the game, from teddy-bear adjacent creatures, to almost cuddly looking mummies Pretty women, and creepy men. It could use some tuning, but if you think you’ll like it, you will.
So far, I absolutely love it. I think it’s worth the try even if you just play an hour and refund. It’s Metroidvania with beat-em-up combat and fighting game special moves and combos. This means there are some things, I find a lot of things janky about it. Blocking is tricky to get used to, wish teleport was just double tap in a direction, but that would limit your combos.

The game is largely inspired by Symphony of the Night as with any metroidvania that has RPG elements, although the actual combat is more like a beat’em up game. If anything the base move set is very similar to a Street Fighter with 2 variations on the kick and punch. Those 4 attacks can be chained into different combos and improved versions that require resources, granted you have to unlock those first. Some of the bosses will drop special powers that will interact with the environment, that is where the ‘Metroidvania’ comes in. The game has a map, waypoints, secrets and optional challenges in a form of unique enemies. Unfortunately, the save system is kinda old school, when you die you might lose progress as you can only resurrect from the last save or the previous teleport, at least to my knowledge.

To The Light
Quite simple 2D (RPGMaker?) RPG without leveling and with real time fights right on the map. In order to progress you have to collect gear and buffs. Be careful with item buffs because they are NOT infinite in uses and you may lose them permanently. You can use them again to temporary disable. For example, you may want to disable items when breaking large rotating crystals since they will explode, harm you and break a few buff items. And you have to break at least some of these to progress. Probably the most important buff is shield since I haven’t found where yo restock it and it opens paths blocked with spikes. A couple of secrets, a few easter eggs and multiple endings… well, kinda. You just either do everything right or end up with a wrong one. Don’t rush collecting all quantum piece, though, or you won’t be able to get 2 achievements for the wrong endings. Save often in different slots and you should be fine. Music is nice, art is pretty, story is bizarre and shown mostly with environment and short in-game animations. In case you desire more kinky stuff install both nude patches (look on community hub). Does it actually worth a full price? Not quite sure, but it ain’t bad. With good discount might worth to pick up.

This game could have been much better if it did not give conflicting information to the player.
For example some enemies you could hit, while others you can’t and you get hurt when you attack them. There is no indication that could help you identify this, so you have to experiment and lose lifes and restart or load again.
Another example is that some rocks could hurt you when you try to push them or hit them, while others don’t. Again how would the player know? many other example exists but I think these two gives a clear idea.

Cibele
“If you expect nothing from anybody, you’re never disappointed.” ― Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar
There certainly is a lot to say about Cibele, good and bad with a cumulative total ending up being “the naivety of the superficial”. Cibele is so superficial, so excruciatingly ordinary and basic, yet so real in that manner; it ends up being naively beautiful. Wait a minute there, I will properly explain what I’m trying to say as the review progresses, I promise.
If we are to establish a definition, Cibele is the combination of a clicker game that serves as a placeholder for an MMORPG, and a collection of FMV scenes, telling the story of Nina and her online romance, Blake. The story is based on real life events, coming from internet personality, game designer and new generation punk poet Nina Freeman’s experience. The game retells Nina’s first love and sexual experience with a guy she meets in a MMORPG game, through some FMV scenes and a symbolic gameplay. We witness 3 separate scenes, observe ongoing events in Nina’s life through her computer desktop - mainly centering Blake/Ichi - and call it an artistic contemplation when it comes to an end in an hour.

One of my favorite horror novels, Mark Danielewski’s House of Leaves, begins with an unforgettable dedication: “This is not for you.”
This game may not be for you.
However, if you spent your first years of college staying up until three in the morning chatting with online friends instead of going to parties, and if you have ever experienced friendship or love online, and especially if you have ever been a nineteen-year-old girl, this game is for you.
In Cibele you play as the MMO player Cibele (Nina in real life), an autobiographical version of the game developer herself, as she falls in love with another player, Ichi. Following in the tradition of other confessional genres, Nina Freeman uses her own old notebooks, fanart, chat logs, and, yes, lingerie-clad selfies to create a realistic history for her character. As a result, the haphazardly organized photographs, poem drafts, and archived personal websites on Nina’s laptop could easily have been taken, with only minor changes, from my own computer when I was a teenage girl.

Final Battle
Very nice short game. Awesome character artworks and lots of fanservice (nothing hardcore though). The story and dialogues are also very well done. My only complaints are its a bit too short and need more towns and NPC (because the naked comments are so fun to read lol). Can’t wait for the next game from this developer.

Fun and cute but with many flaws, barely gets a positive. Needing to follow the game-guide closely or else you will miss many quests and items makes gameplay tedious. The “punchball” event can crash if you re-arrange your team. RPG-maker games are low-effort as is, so I expect a bit better.
*I edited this review from negative to positive after finding a way around the puncbowl bugs, and noticing my son likes the cute animations in this game lol *
