Energysaber Masta VR
It’s fun and immersive wave shooter… well… not exactly a shooter though! It’s nice that my swords can cut foes, shoot them or even turn into a shield. It’s also cool to play with double-sided sword ⚔️⚡⚔️ It’s really hard to get past wave around 20!

I’m having fun slicing these cosmic monsters 🔥🔥🔥 Blasters in lightsabers reminded me of the railguns from Quake! Not an easy game after the 20th wave and I wish this game has more levels, more different enemies and a story!

Warframe
By looking how much time i have spent in this game, you can realise - this game, if it manages to hook you, will keep you for years.
Instead of bunch of words, i will just go straight to pros and cons.
Pros:
- Weaponry. Basically, you can find lots of guns of your liking by just trying them or asking people of how they work and get an idea of how they act and how good\bad they are. Well, since there are around 350 weapons available for you to pick from, you will surely find a tool of death and destruction of your own playstyle: bows and crossbows, rocket\grenade launchers, flamethrowers, machineguns, shotguns, sniper rifles and even futuristic LAZ0R guns. Basically - primary weaponry includes two-handed guns of pure murder, secondary can be either Magnum spewing thingie or just a bullet wind of two machinegun pistols, and melee… From swords, katanas and throwble disks to spears, staffs and two handed maces\axes\swords (LOTS more melee types not mentioned but existent in the game).

Not pay to win
Before I start my review, I want to dispell this notion. Anyone who tells you this game is pay to win is wrong, or lying to you. Most of the good weapons are mastery rank locked and even if you buy things to bypass the grind, you still have to level those Warframes and weapons, you still have to play the game to grind and get mods for your weapons and Warframes to make them actually perform well in end-game content. You’re blindsiding yourself if you’re going to make the argument that this game is pay to win. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s get to the actual review.

1-Bit Revival: The Residuals of Null
Technically there are 4 arcade games here so I am going to briefly describe what they are. It has an asteroid game, matching game, a pac-man(ish) arcade, and a platformer. As far as I can tell they are not exact copies when it comes to classics, but they work on the same basic principle. In general, I like how all of the games work, it’s just that achievements would take extremely long time to grind. The thing is, you would have to play them a lot for the difficulty to pick up, it’s just not something that I would spend my time on. Each game seems to get harder upon getting a specific score, and occasionally they introduce new elements such as harder enemies. It actually has a save function so you don’t have to grind achievements in one playthrough, but it only saves in specific spots. You can change the keyboard (default is Z+X+arrow keys) and it can be played on my 360. Frankly, I really like the presentation of the game with its minimalist cutscenes and catchy soundtrack.

Omega Blade
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/Z5xjUFRmWMU
Omega Blade VR is a challenge type / wave shooter, similar to Space Pirate Trainer, only not half as good. There are 20 total level challenges to try to climb up the leaderboards. They include stuff like your standard wave shooter (with a match color variant or shuriken throwing variant), to target practice with a sniper rifle within a limited time, to reflecting projectiles with blades and avoiding lasers by moving around.

They Always Run
They Always run is quite the fun action side scroller game. Both the visuals and music are quite stunning. Controls are tight and it is easy to move and fight throughout the levels. Combat can and does keep you on your toes, but it is not what I’d call overly challenging. The only criticism that I can come up with at the moment is the lack of voice overs. In my opinion this game needs voice overs to help with the immersion. I don’t know why but I can imagine Simon Templeman (voice of Kain from Blood Omen) being a fitting voice for the protagonist Aidan. But who knows, maybe they’ll add voice overs in future patch/ updates.

They Always… Hmmm?
Legend:
+++ Bullseye!
++- Neat!
+– Mmmm … okay!
— Yikes!
+-+ Mix Bag (Sometimes is ok Sometimes is not)
+- Not a Big Deal. (Neutral)
HIT & MISSES:
+++ Art style is spectacular! One of the main reasons I bought the game!
++- Characters and World Building stories are pretty good. Although some of the dialogues can be cheesy.
++- Presentation of story ideas can be better. Currently some of the story elements can be a little sloppy but nothing narration breaking.
