Mini ship wars
Lucky me gets to write the first review for Mini ship wars (the developer didn’t bother capitalising each letter in the title).
This isn’t really a game, it’s a ripoff of a GameMaker Studio 2 template/tutorial for making a top down shooter game. It’s complete garbage. GMS is a complete garbage engine, and copying + pasting a template for the engine isn’t suddenly going to generate a video game of any quality. They didn’t even bother making a fullscreen mode.
Why would anyone do such a thing, publish such a terrible non-game on Steam, you ask? Well take a look at the ridiculous $10 USD price tag, and it suddenly becomes clear. This is a nasty cash grab. Then you look at the name of the developer, “Phoenixxx Games”. They’ve pulled this crap before. That’s all they do.

The Viking Way
The Viking Way; an ambitious project that aims to bring a Viking experience into the 3D RPG world. Upon playing I could see the amount of work being put into this project, through their slowly chipping away at every unpolished surface in the game with every update.
It’s Medieval times, when the Vikings rule the high seas and warring factions fight for new land and dominance over other factions. This is where I come into play; I am about to set off on a journey to represent the Faction Ribe and make my father proud.

## VTOL VR
This game is fucking awesome. I don't really know what to say about it but this game feels really good, its fun, has a nice community, mods. the game feels realistic but very easy for anyone to pick up and improve, most of the technology in-game actually exists irl, but in-game its very simplified

great game, tons of amazing modded maps and planes. if you like any flight sim get this. its controls are super easy to learn, understanding weapons may take some time but you will learn it pretty fast if you just watch a couple videos and play with them yourself.

## Submarine War
Hello/Bonjour Developer Deyin Song,
When I was a kid back in the sixties, my mom would let me play "Periscope" at Montréal Bonaventure train station.
The big arcade style machine, had it's inner workings all in electric and mechanical systems.
No fancy electronics here, synchronized luminous bulbs, and immersive sound effects.
Of course Submarine War is not a U-Boat style complex game, but it triggered my nostalgia memories big time.
It runs smoothly, pretty good graphics, and a little strategy towards the middle of the levels.

## 1971: Indian Naval Front
![](https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/957950/extras/Seahawk240.gif?t=1637826787)
**1971 : Indian Naval Front is a Naval Combat game made as a tribute to the Indian Navy towards their contribution during the 1971 India-Pakistan War.**
_1971 was a year filled with diplomatic tensions between India and her neighbour Pakistan. As the atrocities by the Armed Forces from West Pakistan against the people of East Pakistan kept increasing, **Indira Gandhi**, the then **Prime Minister of India** decided to act on it and determined to liberate **East Pakistan(Bangladesh)** as an independent country. During the months of **October and November** in 1971, Indian Navy sent her famed aircraft carrier **INS Vikrant** and few more powerful vessels to create a blockade against the naval vessels of **West Pakistan** and her **allies** in the **Bay of Bengal** to the East. Pakistan Air Force, on 3rd December, attacked multiple Indian airfields along the North and North West regions of India.
**The War had now officially begun!**
![](https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/957950/extras/AAGun200.gif?t=1637826787)
In retaliation, the Indian Navy sent 3 of her **Osa-I class missile boats** in an operation codenamed **Operation Trident** with an objective to destroy the **Karachi Harbour**. **Operation Trident** was a resounding success! After this point, major naval operations were kicked off in both the **Eastern and Western waters**; an encounter with the Pakistan Navy's **Submarine PNS Ghazi** being one of them. Indian Navy's fighter jets like the **Hawker Seahawk** were also used to destroy many East Pakistani Airfields and Harbours like **Chittagong** and **Cox Bazaar**.
On 16th December, Pakistan eventually signed the **Instrument of Surrender** and **Bangladesh was declared an independent country**.
**1971 : Indian Naval Front will enable you to experience pretty much all the Indian Navy operations executed during the 1971 War including transmission of intel through morse codes**!_
#### Features
* Play with iconic ships of the Indian Navy like INS Vikrant, INS Rajput, INS Brahmaputra, INS Veer, etc.
* Experience real world missions in the form of a campaign like Operation Trident, taking out PNS Ghazi, destruction of airfields, etc.

## Armada
Really fun game to play with your friends. I'm astonished that the audio was created by someone's mouth.
The trailer is exactly what the game is. It's a nice little indie game to play with your friends and mess around on.
The game could use a server list so you can join public servers or a discord where we can find other players.

If you enjoy small indie games to play with your friends, Armada is an exceedingly great choice for such an experience. The game is exactly as it seems, a simple navel combat game. You have a ship, two cannons, a gun, and a sword. There's no directed objectives, but the game doesn't have much else than the ships. It is mutiplayer, so just jump in a server and have some fun. A unique feature of this game is the audio design, which seems to be (and is, according to the developer.) someone's mouth making all of the noises. All in all, this game's price tag is defiantly worth it if you find yourself with some spare time and you find yourself in a discord call. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I do, and I hope to see you in public lobbies!

## SHIPS AT WAR
I see great potential in this game, the development is very active and content and bug-fixes are added frequently.
I love the building system, you can build whatever ship you like, from small torpedo boats to battleships or even fictional monstrosities from your own imagination.

## Carrier Battles WW2: Admiral of the Fleet
OK big Leaguers, this game is fun! Reminds me of the old Carrier Strike game. Easy to learn.
Now that I have a few hours of play, I can quibble about minor annoyances, and will later, but the basic game-play is FUN. Send out your search planes, find the enemy task force before they find you, and sick your cap, dive bombers, and torpedo planes on them.
Developers should play the steam game 'Fleet Command', a lot of great ideas can be had that would improve this game even more.
Developers have already fixed most of my quibbles with game patch updates!
*– [Real player with 13.7 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198081477192)*
I had got this game on the first day, and i felt that the controls were rather confusing, and that there wasn't a clear objective.
This game on the other hand seems very unfinished, so i hope i see graphic updates that make this game a little more user friendly. I did however play this game on launch, so what i have seen is untapped potential. I would not recommend purchasing this game for now, but within time I believe that this game will become not only playable, but fun and entertaining!
P.S.-I really like the art style

## Crush Depth: U-Boat Simulator
Disclaimer 26.04.2021 the reviewed game is subject to heavy changes and will soon be outdated because Crush depth receives everyday small updates and every thursday a larger one.
The Crush Depth: Tech-Demo currently just a tech demonstration and exactly only that this tech demo is not for the mainstream user who expect to have instant action and a quick gameplay. The game is in its very early construction and lets you see how a game gets developed from the bare bone up and you will get all updates and the finished game if you buy it this demo.

"He who wants to be victorious on the sea must always attack!" - From The Submarine Commander's Handbook, 1943.
Though there is much, much left to be done, and heavy optimization that needs to be done with what is already in play(the frames on modern hardware are not great), nonetheless what is already here should prove to be quite interesting for anyone who takes the risk and plunges in, as I did.
Crush Depth is not a game that holds your hand: It is a game that expects you to learn how to operate a U-boat, and to do so properly and effectively. I was under the false impression that the U-boat was not currently able to move–I was proven wrong a little while ago when a kind fellow of the community showed me how the engine worked in the museum exhibit that you can train on. I had to learn myself how to work the electric engine by looking at the valves that existed and doing what I thought was the way, and sure enough it was.
