Capsa
So 320 hours of gameplay, met many super nice folks, visited all areas multiple times (Map is huge). Super stoked i gave this game a shot upon release!
Developers are really friendly and work really hard, updates have been frequent, sometimes daily depending on what theyre working on. Lots of exciting things to come in the future of Capsa, but need to give them time. Just 2 developers and the game hasn’t been out long at all. Lots has changed from the short amount of time it has been released.

So far I have spent like 32 hours in Capsa and not one minute was boring.
Even if the community is still small it is growing, but you can easily spend hours exploring by yourself.
I didn’t even visit all of the islands yet, but found a marvellous place for my home…just imagine a house directly on a beach with your own mooring to the right there is a romantic looking lighthouse and I can listen to my favorite music while dancing with a friend or simply gazing at the sunset!
When I feel like going somewhere else I can choose between a boat, a horse or a buggy to go wherever I please in this huge open world.

Sea Dogs: To Each His Own - Pirate Open World RPG
Heads up, this review is LONG. There will be a TL;DR at the bottom.
This game is a gem, covered in a pile of shit. If you’ve read negative reviews for the game I hate to say that most of them are very much accurate. This game is very unwieldy, hard to learn, harder to master, and really doesn’t teach you anything. The closest this game has to a tutorial is essentially a few hours of being stuck on one island doing small quests to make enough money to buy a small ship. Unfortunately, this means you likely won’t know if you want to keep the game or not until after the refund period has passed.

Very OLD Akella Pirates game player here when “dinosaurs ruled the earth”.
I basically played the entire game in Russian (no DLC) before it was released in English offline.
I recently went back and have been playing the DLCs online, and my immediate review is still valid in any case.
The game series has been around since 2000. Published by Akella, and eveloped by various studios. This is actually the SIXTH game in the series. Sea Dogs, POTC (Sea Dogs Modification, SD2, the bad disney production), Age of Pirates (AoP) , Tortuga - Two Treasures, AoP2:COAS (City of Abandoned Ships) , and POTEHO (SDTEHO). Black Mark Studios has most of the original modders and designs from the original games. SDTEHO has MANY of the same landmarks as COAS and similar quests. Personally, I am partial to COAS for many reasons, but predominantly the freedom to do whatever the hell you want very early.

Tall-ship Sailing
Our aim is to capture an in-depth and complex sailing experience, with direct control over each sail. It will require a crew to correctly react to the changes in weather and sea-state, or maneuvering for combat encounters.
Naval Combat
Ahoy features all of the hallmarks of a great naval encounter. Devastating broadsides, agile sailing maneuvers, action-packed boarding actions—all that remains is the teamwork to succeed.
Historical authenticity
Every ship, lovingly recreated. Every interior room, rope, hoop and hinge is built on real historical artefacts, drawings and models. Ahoy provides an educational experience in addition to it’s gameplay offering. Much of the terminology and methods used will be displayed and explained to deepen the understanding of this nautical lifestyle.
True First Person
Our focus on immersion through environmental detail, expressive audio landscapes, and a true first-person perspective creates an incredible backdrop to explore this time in history.
Large-scale Multiplayer
Multiplayer battles with up to 32 players per ship create for exciting engagements. With future plans to increase the scale of conflicts, Ahoy will provide a naval experience unlike any other.

Waves of Steel
TLDR main selling points:
1. A faithful Warship Gunner/ Warship Commander successor
2. Simple-to-use part-based building system, for building your own warship
3. Very easy to mod
4. Fight zany enemies
Now, the rest of the review:
I have been waiting for a VERY long time for any successor of Koei/Microcabin’s Naval Ops: Warship Gunner/ Warship Commander series. Waves of Steel is by far the closest to the original with considerable improvements to the ship design process. Of course, since this is 2021, it also supports modding.

This is a very good game in the vein of the PS2 Naval Ops series, specifically Warship Gunner 2. You design a ship, face off against overwhelming numbers of enemies, and then pick up new techs to build a newer, better ship the next time around. This allows for some experimentation, possibly adding dozens of guns to a ship or removing them all in favor of torpedoes. Additional systems can be added to improve radar range, rate of fire and the like. There’s no single “best” build even if the game gives progressively better options. Between flags, decals and paint jobs, every ship really ends up feeling like it’s yours.

Salt 2: Shores of Gold
Salt 2: Shores of Gold is an open world pirate game with a focus on exploration, survival, and crafting. Set sail across an infinite ocean with just you and your ship. Explore islands filled with caves, ruins, pirate camps, towns, and other mysterious places. The world is procedurally generated, so you’ll never run out of islands to explore. Hunt and fish for survival, find resources to craft rare items, decorate your ship, go on quests, level up your skills, and fight legendary pirates. Salt 2 also features RPG aspects such as loot rarities and talents so you can customize your character to fit your playstyle.
What Makes Salt Unique?
You might be wondering what makes Salt different than other pirate games. There’s a few things. For one, we’ve put our focus on the single player exploration experience. This means you don’t need friends to help you manage your boat or to explore the world. This isn’t a game focused on naval combat, but instead on PVE content such as exploring the sea, going on quests, crafting and survival elements, leveling up skill systems and unlocking talent trees, and discovering interesting places and loot. Because of this focus on exploration, we’ve also made the world procedurally generated so you can explore in any direction for as long as you want.
Explore an Infinite World
We wanted to create a pirate game that focused on exploration and adventure first and foremost. You start in the middle of an infinite ocean with just you and your ship, pick a direction, and set sail across a procedurally generated world. Experience pure freedom in where you go and what you do. Discover uncharted islands filled with quests, pirates, and hundreds of points of interest such as ancient ruins, caves, pirate camps, villages, and other mysterious places. Even though the islands are procedural, our points of interests are hand crafted with unique secrets, puzzles, and design.
Fish and Hunt to Survive
You’ll need some food to survive. Grab a fishing pole and toss a lure overboard to catch some fish or grab your bow and head into the woods to hunt some wildlife.
Craft and Upgrade
As you explore the world you will discover tons of resources that can be used to craft new items, armor, weapons, and upgrades for your ship.
Decorate Your Ship
We want your ship to be your home at sea. While exploring the world you will find items to upgrade your ship, decorating it and making it unique to you. And you won’t need other people to help manage your ship. It’s just you, the sea, and the endless horizon.
Level Up
Unlock talent trees for different skills such as combat, fishing, crafting, hunting, and get unique perks for your character.
Loot Epic Gear
Salt 2 features an RPG style loot system with different rarities of armor and weapons, and interesting stats to tailor to the play style you want. Each piece of gear also has randomized talents. So whether you are crafting a high level item, or hunting down a pirate captain for an epic sword, you’ll always be searching for that new rare item with the perfect roll.
Fight Legendary Pirates
The islands are full of dangerous enemies. Fight legendary pirates, bosses, and dangerous wildlife in your hunt for adventure.
Go on Quests
Dock your ship at a sea port and pick up quests and commissions from guilds, the townsfolk, and merchants.
How is Salt 2 Different from the Original?
If you’ve played Salt 1, you might be wondering what is new in the sequel. For starters, a complete visual overhaul. We are switching to a new rendering pipeline allowing for much better graphical fidelity. This means brand new models, textures, shaders, lighting, animations, UI, and performance improvements. We are also revamping the island generation system for more varied and interesting looking islands. In addition to that, Salt 2 will have hundreds of hand crafted points of interest such as caves to make exploration a much more deep and unique experience.
We are also putting a much bigger focus on crafting, survival, and ship decoration mechanics. In Salt 2 these mechanics will be deeper than the original and feed directly into the gameplay loop. You’ll also be able to level up your weapons and unlock talents that fit your playstyle. And of course Salt 2 will include brand new quests, new gear, improved combat mechanics, and a new soundtrack.
Blazing Sails
Early acces? It’s already insanely playable, nothing seems to be really missing and no huge bugs.
It’s a 4man team battle royale, it seems to take a lot of inspiration if not downright most of it’s stuff from sea of thieves.
The rounds are 5 - 20 minutes, divided in mostly 2 parts:
Looting and fighting.
during the looting fase you might run into other people on land, so combat ensues.
When sailing to the next island you might run into another ship, ship to ship combat ensues.
The safe area, as with every BR gets smaller and smaller, forcing ships closer and closer, these fights can turn very hectic very quickly.

Pirates Job
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1286880/Ship_Graveyard_Simulator/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1661270/Car_Detailing_Simulator_Prologue/
It’s a pirate’s life for me
Pirates Job simulates the dark reality of modern-day piracy, as observed on the coastal regions of eastern Africa. As a growing number of people end up pushed to a life of crime by either their choices or their circumstances, the player joins them on violent raids carried out against all manner of commercial vessels.
Beaten down the hatches
And violent will those raids be. You’ll often find yourself on board of a ramshackle speedboat with a mounted machine gun and a well-used AK in hand. You’ll need to intercept a weak target and, without remorse, terrorize the crew and take what you can get your hands on, risking life and limb. You’ll live a short and cruel life. That is, unless you truly succeed with your attacks…
Yo ho ho and a crateload of gun
If you manage to survive and make off with valuable loot, you’ll be able to afford some urgently needed equipment. You never know when an opportunity for a really grand heist comes knocking at your door… or well-trained guards come knocking on your head… Better be ready for both – buy new guns, gadgets, roll up your sleeves and install those coveted upgrades on your boat yourself.
Raise the Not-So-Jolly Roger
More than that, along with successful hijacking comes the player character’s rise in the local hierarchy. Establish connections, exert some hard-earned influence, and become a genuine pirate captain. Recruit a crew of loyal, mostly capable men. No longer will you or they need to suffer poverty when you work together and become the most ruthless pirates known to sailors.
Dead men tell the best tales
You now know what needs to be done. It’s either blood on your hands or hunger for the rest of your days. Embark on a shocking journey of action-packed gunfights on the open seas. Pirates Job will offer you a variety of missions and possibilities for securing money – robbing, kidnapping, hijacking, and more.
It’s up to you were this uncertain path takes you. To the top of a mountain of riches? Or down a watery grave?
