Snow Scout
In this exploration adventure on skis, which is experienced in virtual reality, you take a well-deserved time out. After everything that happened recently, you figure you really need to take a break and get away from it all. You sign up for a volunteer job with the Snow Scouts, a non-profit organisation that runs some ski resorts high in the mountains. You will be responsible to fix up an entire valley all by yourself, only being guided by your supervisor via radio. You’ll try out and open all the different ski slopes, test the snow cover for any avalanche risk, and if need be, set off a calculated avalanche to ensure safety for others. Maybe you’ll even come across some rare alpine birds, get a chance to open new paths and get to know your supervisor - and maybe even yourself - a little better through radio conversations. Up here in this pristine mountain environment, you all alone in nature, nothing can go wrong. Or can it?

Snowtopia: Ski Resort Builder
As the game is still in EA, please so not take my review as negative criticism but as recommendations for things that should be improved for the final version.
So let’s go through it:
The setting: as a winter sport enthusiast, mountain lover and little snow angel, I love the setting and the idea. I followed the project from the very first alpha, and bought it here to support the developers.
Graphics: You get what you see in the screenshots and videos. A lovely mountain area with nice vegetation and some cute looking skiers. For a game focussed on snow, the white element is presented a bit boring. No variations, no animations, no structure… I want to see at least some improvements here, without expecting AAA-class graphics.

This is my very first review andI really wanted to write a positive one because I absolutely loved the demo. Now with more features, I thought that this sounded wonderful but after several hours of playing, it became more + more frustrating due to too many restrictions and bugs. I’m now listing up what I mean which is actually a listing up of bugs or negative issues and hope I don’t sound rude or so because English is not my first language. So unfortunately, this will be a negative review as I can’t recommend the game at this stage of development, especially not for this price as it has far too many issues.

Gustav Vasa: Adventures in the Dales
The year is 1522 and the young nobleman Gustav Eriksson Vasa is reached by the news that his father has been murdered in the infamous bloodbath of Stockholm. Understanding that the Danish king Kristian the Tyrant now will hunt him down, Gustav goes on a dangerous journey through the Swedish Dales.
Danish soldiers are chasing Gustav who flees at high speed on skis, traversing the Swedish landscape of the Dales. Reaching village after village in search of help and support amongst the locals. The setting of the chase is beautiful wintery landscapes in 3D. The villages he visits are presented as a stunning 2D sidescrolling adventure that ties in the main storyline in between chase sequences.
This game was built by Ingeborg Asplund, Stanislav Hallberg, Natali Hallberg, Joakim Bengtsson and Gertrud Bondesson.
Features:
• 3D Chase Sequence:
Tense chase sequences on skis through a wintery Swedish landscape while hunted down by the Danish Soldiers firing arrows from their crossbows aiming to kill Gustav. These are challenging and require the player to take advantage of the landscape around them to avoid obstacles and incoming arrows.
• 2DSidescrolller story:
Follow the story about Gustav Vasa a Swedish nobleman on the quest to become king. The story is based on a real historical figure from Sweden and the myths that surround him. The story allows you to participate in key moments in the legend and story of Gustav Vasa, such as his legendary speech in Falun where he tries to convince the Dalesfolk to rally behind him and his final coronation in Stockholm.
• Distinct artwork:
Beautiful handpainted environments and characters in a distinctly stylized art style inspired by classic Swedish artwork from the Dales.
