i’ve been playing this game for a whole night, and my parents were screaming at me for whatever reason. they kept knocking on my door, asking if everything was all right because i wasn’t saying a word, nor did i unlock my door or leave my room, but clearly everything was fine because i was wisely spending my time by playing Gnome Jigsaw Puzzles. i think i’m starting to hear voices in my head and police sirens outside, but that probably doesn’t have anything to do with this beautiful game

Really enjoyed the chill vibe (my wife was listening to me play, and the music was soothing her to sleep, lol), and the puzzles were progressively challenging, but not frustratingly so - at least I didn’t find them that way. I also appreciated that the hint system (which I needed a few times to ferret out some misoriented pieces that weren’t at all obvious to me) doesn’t penalize you in any way. If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing, puzzle game, definitely give this one a go. I’ll definitely look out for other stuff put out by this developer. :-)

A dollar gets you a nice set of nature themed puzzles on a dark background that is easy on the eyes. The images are solved by turning the pieces in place, not by moving them on the board. So there is no ‘dragging and dropping’ which I like. Pieces only turn one way so if you turn it one too far you have to turn it three more times to get it back where you want it. The line art is nice and a starry background appears when you finish each puzzle. The music is peaceful. Best played in the dark to appreciate the night-sky visual theme. Good for a relaxing, casual puzzle. Note: using the hint function, press the hint button again to get back to puzzle-solving mode. The pieces are locked in the the hint mode and can’t be turned.

Campground Owner

Campground Owner

Campground owner is very suitable to your needs.

I recommend picking a map with more land then water. You can pick seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).

In creative mode, you have unlimited cash. I almost always do creative mode. If you want to put anything on the map, I’d recommend that. There is also a survival mode where you have to earn money. You can get that from campers.

If you like to speed up time, press 1(slow), 2 (medium), 3( super fast).

You can’t put different camper’s tent, chairs, grill, or camper together, or it will show the camper’s gear red.

Fun game for some time, I really like being able to place the items of campers down myself in spots that give the most money, and it’s fun trying to get all stars and see money go up.

There are some downsides though, some quality of life improvements that I would like to see.

Once a camper is placed, you cannot see info about them, like with how many they are, how much they’ll pay or for how long they stay. You can see this when they ask to be placed, but still would be nice to keep track of the stay’s duration.

Oasis: Dark Forest

Oasis: Dark Forest

If you like Tower Defense and Base Construction games;

If you like to defeat a large number of enemies through a reasonable array;

If you like concise and refreshing pictures;

If you like the Roguelike element

This is the game you’re looking for.

This is a land ruled by darkness, and you are the only light. Here is the Dark Forest;

You must protect your holy tree, which is the foundation of all life;

Your trees will form a solid defense line against the Dark Forest and the Ghost Army from the darkness;

Your strategy, operation and willpower will determine the direction of the war.

In the Dark Forest,

Each level has a carefully customized terrain structure, but trees, monsters and resources will be generated randomly, so each game is a new exploration;

You will randomly get three evolution items when each rank of enemy is defeated. How to choose the most suitable update will affect the direction of the war;

You will get the opportunity to evacuate safely in specific ranks. Although you will gain more from continuing to fight, if you mistakenly evaluate the situation, you will be defeated and get nothing in this battle;

The resources you collect in the level will be used to evolve your Technology Tree, so as to gain more power in subsequent battles.

Please don’t be confused by the concise style. Although it is very easy to get started, the war situation full of changes and challenges absolutely needs to be dealt with attentively.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have feedback, questions, or problems with the game. We’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible and provide support if needed. Also let me know if you enjoyed the game, that means much to me!

Thank you for playing and your support!

Quiet as a Stone

Quiet as a Stone

The game is well done and though super simple and even limited in the actual gameplay (can’t save maps you’ve developed, no!real goal other than just clearing the landscape searching for magical stones). But despite the games limitations, it’s easy gameplay and simplicity are actually addicting. Tried it for the first time today and when I’d stopped it was 3 hours later! LOL Only three downfalls I see are that you can’t save maps, can’t create a map from scratch, and there needs to be a gamma control as the game is predominently dark and its difficult to see the landscape clearly. Hopefully the developer will add some updates. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing experience that only costs pennies.

Love the concept and the calm vibes, its very beautiful and relaxing! I do wish there were more variation in landscapes though, I imagine it gets same’y quite fast. Different climates and plants would have been fun! It is also much too dark, with no way to adjust the lighting up (as far as I can tell). Sometimes I cant see whats going on at all, its literally just pitch black, lol.

There are also some minor issues, like street lamps cant be picked up again once you place them.

Compost

Compost

A fun little game that is a mix of tower defense and critter simulation.

There are many various critters in the game with each type having their own behavior and priorities,

some being peaceful, some preying on other types of critters, some plants having different ways to spread, some critters eating specific plants and so on, which makes for a surprising amount of artificial intelligence in the game.

You don’t control anything directly but instead are given power to generate a breeze that gently pushes stuff around.

This is a great game! A retro style with a current social feel! Some things I like about it:

1. It feel like playing one of my arcade machines

2. Who doesnt want their garden to thrive?

3. The game is explained just enough that makes you think about what you need to do in order for your garden to stay healthy

4. While there are not tons of critters/plants/baddies to understand its great fun learning how they all interact and what they do

I really do enjoy playing this game and look forward to the next round of mouse clicking madness! (thank goodness for pause!)

Yugo Puzzle

Yugo Puzzle

This is a great puzzler, the game looks like many similar games but the level design and the mechanics make this game a joy to play . Some puzzles are very hard and the developer implemented a hint system post release, I used it once because I don’t like those but I was stuck on 2 puzzles for many hrs. The developers even warn that it would be good to take breaks between puzzles and then I saw that the devs are Japanese. I can tell you after finishing this game I need a longish break from puzzlers :)

If you’ve played Jelly no Puzzle before then you know the kind of brilliant puzzles that qrostar makes, and this game is just like that. Interesting nuances in mechanics just keep unfolding as you play through the game, and it’s a thing of beauty.

Also if you know qrostar’s style then you know he’s not very gentle. There’s no throwaway levels just to ease you into a mechanic; he will throw you right in the deep end. But if you give it a shot you will see how beautiful these levels are.

A feast of a game for puzzle game lovers.

Relaxing fun, especially when you get good at swimming fast.

Controller support didn’t work for me (Steam/Linux) but configured as keyboard instead.

For the price well worth a punt.

Guppy is a poetic game, which lets you control a fish by moving its tail left and right.

No other control is used; and every movement of the tail is propelling the fish in the direction of the movement. Used alternatively, left and right movements allow the fish to progress forward, or any way you so desire; by gauging how much of each movement to produce.

Both the left and right sticks can be used; but the game really shines when shoulder controls are used, epecially the analog ones. I am unsure as if the game is using them in an analog fashion (I think not), but using them feels most natural to me.
