Dracula Frames
It’s a really good sliding puzzle that in addition to solving the puzzle, you can also explore the scenarios to find hidden items. The pictures are beatiful!

Dracula Frames: Review
I showed up for the vampire and stayed for the puzzles. Bram Stoker would approve. He might even be stoked cough Moving on… ^, ,^
Dracula Frames was quite enjoyable, relaxing even. Well, except for when I did fairly poorly on a puzzle or two. Then I had to check my frustration. It was my own blunders, the puzzles just take a little patience and perseverance.
The art was wonderful, and the game is satisfying to complete. I did finish all 9 achievements. But I confess that the secret would have eluded me without help from the community guide. Shout out to Jamkolero. I did some of it on my own but I sincerely doubt I would have completed all the steps without help. You can wrap up the game in under 2 hours if you do not run into too much trouble with the slide puzzles. There are some 3x3 and 4x3 puzzles, I believe the largest is about 5x4.

Cross the Moon
This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Not only were the individual elements of music, art, writing, editing and directing, all individually great; the way they all came together really raised it to a new level. Definitely up there out of all VNs I’ve played. It’s so cheap too, there’s no way anyone should miss out on this deal.

Cross the Moon is different from most VNs I’ve played. There’s no choices, just some collectibles for additional lore, but I don’t think that takes away from the experience. The art is on point? There’s fantastic use of color in the backgrounds, and I’m glad I picked up the OST too.
The story is well-paced, and I found it compelling, though it might not be to everyone’s taste. I was also happy to see multiple queer characters in the cast. And the 3 main characters are all POC which is kinda unique for a VN. The protagonists are a teenage boy, his older sister who’s just starting her career, (the siblings are vampires), and a police officer (who is human). They all intersect with the story and each other in interesting ways and, I don’t really want to say too much more and spoil things.

Sinister City
Vampy and campy, twitchy and glitchy, and if this game was a movie it would be shown during the late night double feature creature picture shows where all good “bad” B-rated flicks were shown.
Spoof parody of vampires and B-rated flicks in Hollywood, complete with an otaku vampire fan boy of Bela Lugosi and Nosferatu who wants to become an actor and play Count Dracula in his own film. Since the otaku fan boy is having a mid-life crisis (at 500 years old), he is causing grief for his daughter and her fiance, who has come to find her.

(This game was provided to me by the user Dom. Thanks, bro!)
The name is sinister, but is this game?
Sinister City is a pretty basic hidden object / point-and-click game that one could assume is horror from the get-go, but in reality, it’s more fluff than snuff and is well-suited for all ages (that’s how light it is). The whole goal is to find a way to free your fiancee from a vampire…but with an interesting twist that will throw you for a loop and (at that same moment) throw all elements of horror out the window.

Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition
I hadn’t played this game since the 1st edition that came out in the 80s. Back then three Hunters chased a nearly-impotent Dracula around the map, eventually slaying him. Nearly every time, anyway. Dracula had hidden movement behind a screen, and left some rumors in his wake, but the damnable hunter cards would give him away at horrible times, and if you encountered him he would get caught during the day more than half the time (you rolled a die, but the hunters had more cards) - a vampire during the day is as feeble in combat as you would think. We called it “The Frustration of Dracula.” He was fun to play, but it was very difficult to win with him. Still, I have fond memories.

While no game is ever going to translate perfectly from the board to digital I have to tip my hat to Nomad games for taking on Fury of Dracula, not just for doing it, but doing a very capable job.
*When you read negative reviews about the lack of 1 vs 4 during initial roll out of the game, I have to point out that this was clearly posted on the store page well in advance and in the discussions. It shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone and it’s a poor excuse to give a thumbs down. It was perfectly clear and the developers have repeatedly stated why they released it as 1 vs 1 and 1 vs AI initially, along with their plans to work on and release 1 vs 4. Understandably, the developers want to get it right, so we just need to be patient. Their professionalism and consistent feedback to our inquiries leads me to believe they will get it done.

Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova
Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova
Version 04.01.17
Playtime ~2.8h (rest was idling)
Size ~640MB
I originally downloaded this for my youngest son as he likes these silly games, but before I could let him play it I had to check it to see if it’s safe for kids. Little did I know I was in for an adventure of a life(day)time.
Note that this game is based on true events and is a true story. It even says so in the title if you were skeptical about that statement. And if you’re still not sure, the game itself will remind you of that.

RIght.. well.. hmm.. just what.. hmm. This is one of those games what need a ‘meh’ button for recommendations.
You are a mute, genderless investigat-OH-r from Vienna. You and your partner are ordered to go to Kisilova to investigate the mysterious events going on there, people dying and getting sick. I’m not sure I agree with there being no information about the person you are playing; I suspect that the ‘playable character’ is supposed to make it easier for people of any age and gender to relate to and that some people are bothered by the main character in most of these games are 20-40-something women. (Though the Steam ‘About the Game’ does say the character is female). Personally in this game it just lead to me not feeling involved in the character at all.

Eternal Evil Prologue
Eternal Evil Prologue is a demo for an unreleased/may never be released FPS adventure/zombie game that seems to have been slapped together by flipping a template from the venerable Unreal Engine.
While this is free, it’s not a game, it’s a demo, that was misleadingly published on Steam without being flagged as a demo. This is a common mistake.
As far as demos go, it shows promise as it’s copied from a reasonably good template set for Unreal. However, it’s buggy and largely unplayable despite the nice framework and art that copying assets from the Unreal store provides.

The game is GREAT but assuming you have a good machine to run it.
Played on my old PC and it was terrible, very long loading times, 10-15mins, and there are loading screens between different maps. Add to this very low fps, super laggy on medium settings and it becomes basically unplayable,
But I really wanted to play it after watching one walkthrough, the youtuber had a lot of fun and he didn’t have these issues.
So I tried Eternal Evil on a more powerful machine and it was a completely different story!

Monstrous Lovers
Monstrous Lovers is a light-hearted BL visual novel. It features four different monsters to pursue a romantic relationship with, all while trying to juggle your job in a new town. Just when you think things are finally settling into a comfortable routine, big news hits the town, shaking things up once again.
Characters: Christopher Wells is our MC who is bored with his current job position. He feels like he’s not doing enough to actually help those who need it. He requests to be transferred to Saint George, the city with the highest population of monsters in the country. Despite his desire to do good, he’s not exactly welcomed with open arms. Underfunded, understaffed and not exactly welcoming of humans, Christopher really struggles to even officially claim his job.

TLDR:
Monstrous Lovers is a supernatural geared visual novel with four love interests. The game comprises of a variety of choices and a clear benchmark where the player will know which route they have entered. Each character has a good and bad ending, which you get is pretty clear despite not being explicitly stated as such. The characters are enjoyable to interact with each having their own distinct traits and personality. Explicit content is limited to about two to three sentences without a CG so if that’s what you’re looking for this won’t provide that.

Up All Night
I haven’t heard of Fiendish Fiction before but they sure have their fingers on the pulse of horror. This game is a horror lover’s dream. Amazing storytelling, beguiling visuals, and a haunting soundtrack give this game all it needs for a truly scary treat and all just in time for Halloween. Pick this one up if you’re looking for something that’s sure to keep you up all night.

An excellent horror story with well-written characters! Chilling atmosphere. Although there are many endings, none of them feel rushed - each path gives you more insight into the mystery and the characters' motivations. Also, unlocking the secret bonus scene is so worth it.

The Case Book of Arne
Speaking as someone who has a really hard time deciding on what RPG games are worth and not worth buying, this game immediately had me intrigued. The story is uniquely crafted and enjoyable, characters are charming with a healthy mix of humorous dialogue with many deep and emotional story beats tied into them as well. The Soundtrack is also one of the best I’ve heard for an RPG game in a long while! Only issue i had with it is the run-time of 6 hours. Can’t wait for the next installment when it comes!

Very fun game! Great characters, art, and the comedy and story is also top notch. I’m happy Playism got vgperson on as the translator as she did great justice on the translation! It was a very fun game to playthrough and I never wanted to put it down and stop! There was one bug I noticed with the timer not changing if you reload a save near the end of the game but it was easily remedied with a quit to title reload. Other than that one thing, I noticed no bugs, and I’ve played through the entire game.

Trick & Treat Remake
I really like the overworked sweet-spooky style. I hope there will be more Games with those characters in the future.
– Real player with 7.9 hrs in game
I played the original game in 2019, and got really excited for the remake. The art and locations have been updated, and the game looks more polished now. Needless to say, the story doesn’t change very much, apart from the bonus objectives. I bought the full bundle and had a look through the artbook, which contains a few annotations and fan art. It also comes with a bonus comic about our truly heroic main character. If you want to get into the spooky mood, this game is certainly a good choice. It’s cute and quirky and doesn’t feel frustrating (which some of these RPG Maker do). Some of the achievements seem to be quite tough to get, though. So, if you’re expecting an easy achievement hunt, I’d probably get the free version.
