Murder Diaries 2

Murder Diaries 2

Murder Diaries 2 - with a good plot. Nice graphics and pretty good music. The gameplay is pretty simple, you fly around the white circle and piece together the whole story. The game is addictive. Recommend!

A very good and beautiful game with its own riddles and mysticism, it makes you think about the plot, it is pleasing to the eyes. It is somewhat reminiscent of an old game from my childhood, which was also about investigations.

Exo One: Prologue

Exo One: Prologue

It’s a demo/prologue. Runs/sessions are 7 1/2 minutes each maximum.

If you pause the game and restart the level before that time limit you can keep the game running forever.

Put your own music on with songs less than 7 1/2 minutes and restart after every song and you’ll be at it for a while.

Grab a wireless controller. Get up, move with the ball, qigong it. (somebody else mentioned smoke: Double Plus Recommend for Double Plus Good time)

I have actually played that many hours. (That could be the review itself.)

Actual review:

The creativity and absolutely incredible graphics of this game are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s one of those demo games you simply must try in order to understand their thrill and appeal. The scattered elements of an intriguing storyline give me hope for a deeper meaning to the game, apart from admirable beauty and fun mechanics. If you’re considering installing this art piece, go for it as soon as possible. I guarantee you, you will not regret it. Kudos to the developers for making such an eye-catching yet undemanding masterpiece, looking forward to the full version.

Earth Analog

Earth Analog

I’ve completed the game. I’m not sure how long it took, maybe 30 hours, although I made some planets more difficult than they needed to be.

You play this game for the bizzare worlds that you visit.  Some really are spectacular including a giant torus, a  pulsating neutron star, an asteroid that is repeatedly expanding and contracting and a spherical fractal generated landscape.

I saw many people complaining about the control system and yes it did take a bit of time to be used to.  But once I got my head round it, it was fine.  Although I still found landing a bit awkward.  A better tutorial would certainly help which I read is on the way (Q2 2021).  I also see that the same update will include mod support so I’m looking forward to seeing what crazyness people come up with.

About 13 hours in I finished the main story and I gotta say this game is definitely more about the journey than the destination, but man the journey is pretty. Game play mainly consists of exploration, resource gathering, and simple puzzle solving. The main attraction here are the worlds you’ll be visiting, you’ll see everything from mars like rocky barren worlds to endless fields of cubes to things straight of a psychadelic fever dream. On your journey through the story you’ll find upgrades for your ship (HIGHLY recommended you do these), strange artifacts, and the occasional planetary anomaly (think of the ocean planet from interstellar). Movement is newtonian physics based but with the latest patches it’s incredibly forgiving if you misjudge your distance to an object or speed since retro thrusters are so powerful. All in all it’s an ambitious little indie game that offers a bevy of strange new worlds to explore, if you’re into that sort of thing then this game might just be for you.

Jetscout: Mystery of the Valunians

I’m really enjoying this. The controls are tight, the collision detection is sharp, and there are many fun challenges that totally keep me on my toes.

There are levels that I have to play over and over and OVER, but it’s really satisfying to beat them.

I can vaguely remember playing a game much like this one a looooooong time ago, but Jetscout takes it to the next level. Awesome range of levels, monsters, challenges, and innovative mechanics. Not quite finished yet and thoroughly enjoying it. Took me two days to get past the third mission but then I was hooked! Original take on the genre featuring dynamic environments, monsters, and innovative use of the jetpack. Real nail-biter. Superb.

Murder Diaries

Murder Diaries

An unusual idea, but at the same time very exciting. That’s what make this game unique.

I mean content-plot, it is not just a short story. MOREOVER, while playing you are getting more and more new adventures. Our task is to collect some fragments of the story and finally investigate murder.

Pros: interesting plot, good graphic, well-chosen soundtrack

Cons right now can’t be noticed by me, i might played too little time to notice them.

And to conclude, this game is something unusual, not like others one. Really good one to spend free time

Going the Distance

Going the Distance

This is a fun launcher game that is super relaxing and has nothing bad going on at all. Good gameplay, very nice story and characters as well.

I would suggest playing this game if your into horror or launcing games. Though to be aware does start slow, though it picks up super quickly in later levels.

FULL playthrough here (not on story(easy) mode once it uploads): https://youtu.be/SpLKHxlZ4Kc

This game is hard, but the story is amazing and it’s a ton of fun. I definitely didn’t see the game going how it did, but I loved every second of the main story. I will say I believe some of the items on the 2nd stage are impossible to get (mainly pothole 7, possibly 8 I couldn’t even find the thing in pothole 8 7 I just couldn’t possibly get to the left far enough while falling unless there’s a mechanic with the rover that’s not explained. Honestly this was worth every cent of $4.99 The visuals are amazing the play is fun even though grindy as a mf and i hate the blimp stage they’re so long. ACHIEVEMENTS DO NOT WORK AT ALL I beat the whole game and I’m 0 out of 35 which is a complete shame. If you want an amazing game though buy this. Now I have to go take my exam after playing this game for 13 hours straight and not studying adult choices xD. It was a struggle, but I went the distance (insert Cake song).

An unusual light-weight puzzler with interesting mechanics and a chilled vibe.

First Impressions🤔

This isn’t a particularly difficult puzzler but it’s original and it is fun to play.

It is always nice to see something visually or conceptually different.

This game, coming up from a small Czech studio fulfills that desire. Noone would ever think about what it’s like to be a piece of magicans cloth, flying all over the world and hiding things. This masterpiece allows you to do that. For 4 euros! And what is the point of that all? A story about one magician and his rabbit. A story fitted in visually mindblowing environments with mindf*cking tasks you need to accomplish. And talking about mind-something impressions, the music and graphic design just confirms the quality of the game.

Exo One

Exo One

The game itself is very simple. You’re an object that can change between a ball and a disk, using gravity tech to either increase/decrease gravity, making you gain speed very fast very quickly as long as you use slopes smartly as you would in a tony hawk game.

Once you get a bit of speed you store energy, that energy gets used to make you into a disk which you can use to fly around with. Depending on your angle you can use it to go even higher, get more speed, fly even faster and get a sense of speed that even Sonic himself could get jealous of. It’s all up to you how adrenaline-fueled you want to make your adventure.

I’m not sure how to proceed with this one…..bear with me and please hear me out. Exo One is a game I really liked but cannot recommend to you. You need to be of a certain ilk to get into this one and I really suggest watching a few bits of a playthrough and reading reviews on both sides of the fence.

I am giving Exo One the thumbs up because it definitely does not deserve a thumbs down. But this is not a thumbs up in the way that if you like a certain kind of game then you will enjoy this. More like I liked it, everyone else on here seems to be going gaga for it but I can’t help but feel a lot of the reviews here are part of the Kickstarter crowd or were at least following it. I honestly expected a Mixed or Positive average on Steam. Not an Overwhelmingly Positive for sure.

Tex Murphy: Mean Streets

Tex Murphy: Mean Streets

Mean Streets is an open world game set in the far off future of 2033 complete with flying cars that have wireless fax machines, imagine that! You take on the role of detective Tex Murphy to solve the mysterious death of a University professor. Next time you see that someone wants a GTA style open world game, tip your fedora, saying you want a real open world game Tex Murphy style. This is vintage gaming at its best, the game comes with a manual, where the manual for the first time ever in the history of me gaming on steam is required.

That game was made before I was born and yet it still entertain me. It’s amazing how much fun can be packed in that 30MB. I must admit that graphics hurts my eyes comparing to modern games but this game really makes up for that with gameplay.

Lots of locations which You can visit in open-world manner, roaming West Coast in a flight simulator. Every location come with map to search for clues and evidence or memorable and distinctive character. Some of them will cooperate. And some won’t.

Also, I’ve really liked that I had to write my questions. Nothing was given to me on the silver plate. It gives lots of satisfaction when all of the clues start to make sense. And if You find Yourself stuck, after looking everywhere and asking everyone (and believe me, You are wrong if You think so) You may always ask Your informator. For a price of course.
