One Night On The Road
It’s quite bad. There is also a bug which prevents me from finishing the game. (And getting the only achievement.) Stay away.
Btw. I refunded it.

Welcome To Lakewood
I broke your games boundaries simply by walking up the hill behind the bar. Perhaps put a fence there or rock to prevent people from doing so. Other than that I like this. It does scratch the detective itch.

Worth 99 cents if you can handle walking at a snail’s pace and some janky mechanics. The jump scares that I’ve encountered so far have been hit or miss because sometimes they’ll happen behind a wall or not in the way that I’m facing. I’m currently stuck because either one of the mechanics is broken (I need to push a box out of the way but when I interact with it as prompted, nothing happens.) or perhaps I need to unlock something before I can make this piece of progress - I’m not sure because the map is incredibly vague and there’s no compass of any kind. The fact that you walk SO slow made me give up, hopefully just for now. The story seems good so far but the mechanics make it a bit unplayable. I do want to pick it up again but it’s almost a chore to navigate around this game. I’ll still recommend it though cause for all I know these issues could only be on my end and it’s 99 cents.

AIDA: The Beginning of the Story
Real short but really quite fun. A lot of it is a classic look for specific item in area rather than a puzzle, but regardless, I give it a thumbs up.

Had to refund the game because multiple puzzles are broken and do not work. The dev never replied to my discussion post. I really wanted to play this one too, but it’s impossible to move forward.

Bram The Toymaker
A scary bedtime story or a horrid physical entity?
The story goes that the toymaker is an undead figure who comes out at night leaving a toy on the children’s bedroom window to lure and capture them. Upon finding an old hidden journal, Blake discovers that a folktale passed through generations in his family might hold some dark secrets. He embarks on a journey to unravel what’s behind his ancestor’s mysterious journal.
Return to your family roots, deep into a long-forgotten isolated 19th-century village called Grimmville where time has stopped.
Upon arriving at the abandoned manor, once you set foot inside suddenly you find yourself trapped. Equipped with a flashlight you must explore the rooms. Some of them are escape-room style. Your main objective is to look for clues in order to solve timed puzzles that will give you the necessary items to progress further and make your way out.
Damn Dolls
bought this game specifically so I could laugh at it, it has that sort of charm that you get from movies like The Room (or anything made by Neil Breen.) WAY too graphically demanding, however, and there’s tons of problems with enemy AI and lighting, but it’s laughably playable. Overall solid work.

I don’t like when I have to restart a game and do everything again and again but make sure I remember every detail…HOWEVER…this game in particular has an art form to it in which I appreciate. There is a certain hype element and excitement from getting a bit further every game play and mastering the completion of the game. It’s spooky, it’s odd, it’s interesting, it’s fun…I like it!

Desolatium: Prologue
I totally recommend this!
I loved the atmosphere and the music, I was totally immersed in the story from second one. The sound keeps you in constant tension the whole game so that’s a plus.
I also enjoyed all the references, especially the ones in the cemetery (didn’t know about all of them but took notes of some movies to watch, so thanks devs!)
It’s a short game but it’s just the prologue, so I can imagine what the devs are preparing for the final game. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

An enjoyable Prologue to the upcoming game. (As a backer of the full game, I received the Prologue for free). I played the desktop version.
Short, but sweet and enjoyable. It has been a while since I played a point and click adventure like this, and it gives me fond memories of the days of Myst (only with the ability to freely look around, which is always a plus). The puzzles are simple enough, and allow you to focus on the atmosphere.
Speaking of the atmosphere, it was great! Love the setting and the colours used, as well as the style of the artwork and imagery used. I especially enjoyed the ambient music and soundscaping, top notch and certainly helped create built the mood, so hats off to those in charge of the sound!

Faraway: Puzzle Escape
I like this kind of games, relaxing game, but….. be aware of a lot of bugs - see discussions… DEVs need to fix this game. Until then, not recommended to buy….
UPDATE: I could not finish the game due to a lot of bugs, I’m stuck on level 18. The game had a 6 months delay to launch…., but well it seems still hard for the DEVs to fix the game, or more worse…. maybe they do not listen at all….
So again DO NOT BUY!
UPDATE 2: two months ahead…… still no fixes!
So again DO NOT BUY!

Great puzzle game, they could’ve added few more levels, but still there’s plenty, plus finding hidden notes and levels. For the love of god, burn down those ladders, lost a year of my life on them, but still i would recommend this game for any puzzle lover.

Hitchhiker - A Mystery Game
Philosophical road trip, where the word “trip” might be a part of the word “trippy”. Surreal and thought-provoking, with phenomenal storytelling, it’s definitely worth a playthrough for those who like to ponder on things.
You start as a hitchhiker in someone’s car. There’s little information given on who you are, where are you and, most importantly, why are you there – in that moment. As the ride unfolds, there comes the realization that you’re searching for something – yourself? Missing partner? An event in the past? Lost memories? At first, it’s unclear and seems surreal, as odd conversations with drivers seem to be hinting at something deeper while you try to stay rooted in reality and figure out what exactly happened. As the rides with different, strange companions continue, you’ll eventually find yourself threading on the thin line between dreamlike and real still, however, searching for the answers to this mystery, which in itself is no longer solid…Will you ever find answers? Perhaps strange people, new places, odd clues and lots of philosophical musings will help to point you in the right direction. Or not. In the end, you’ll still get to enjoy one bad-ass road trip showing beautiful scenery of the great United States’ cross-county drive.

I don’t know what to make of this games storytellers.. the game itself is a laid back low key Indie AA, decent production values. Not the best Indie AA I have ever played but a fair attempt.
I’m really on the fence between a yes and no recommendation.. okay so MASSIVE STORY SPOILER WARNING:
! ### So the story itself is very chilled out, I enjoyed it for the most part.. until you get to the end and you have been doing all this for your dying girlfriend whom you know was cheating on you?? .. WHY THE FLIP DO I CARE IF SHES ALIVE OR DEAD? She cheated.. cheating is a horrific thing and instantly disqualifies her as a valid person.. meaning everything she ever said to me about me, was a lie. So with that in mind.. and note that guy didn’t go and kill them both, which may have been a fun aspect if it was included in the game.. but not only does he not kill them both, but he simps out and goes to her bedside..?! WHO THE FLIP CARES.. DIE ALREADY!.. life isn’t like what these Devs imagine.. ohw you once told someone you loved them and then they cheated on you, let’s all be friends?? Obviously they felt nothing for you or they wouldn’t have cheated! and at that point.. WHO CARES? You died in that second you cheated.. there is no sorry.. the idea of this is horrific.. No.. a hundred times no.. this game while having good points.. just stole the price of it off me.. can’t believe you would write such a weak pathetic character.. compassion?.. where was her compassion while she is taking ** ** *** **** on holiday.. no excuse, this is the modern age, everyone’s got a phone on them, it takes 5 minutes to make a phone call and done.

Dark Hope: A Puzzle Adventure
This is a solid first-person adventure game where the highlight is the puzzles.
The puzzles are relatively hard in that the clues to solve the puzzles require careful observation and note taking. For the most part, I thought the clues, whether presented in explicit notes, or from your own theories of how things work based on experimentation, were quite adequate. Sometimes the clues may be slightly incomplete (I believe by intention, unless I missed a clue) requiring a very small amount, like maybe 5 or 6 attempts of trial and error to get the final solution. Overall I was very satisfied by the puzzles in this game.

Ive got 14 hours invested in this puzzle game. The vast majority of that has been spent wondering around scratching my head trying to figure out some kind of logic to progress. It’s REALLY REALLY tough so do not expect quick progress. Having had to revert to clues from this steam discussion page and on Discord where the dev has to help people progress with hints, for me I need a few more in-game prompts to allow me to progress without feeling I am unable to continue without external assistance. I dont have a brain the size of a planet. If you are looking for a game that enables progressively harder quick puzzles that start off easy and get tougher but that you kindof learn the concepts, then this game is not for you. If you want a game that allows you to just sit there pondering life feeling your brain twist in your scull and have plenty of time on your hands with little to show for it, then give it a go. Its obvious the dev is a very clever egg head and thought deeply about the puzzle concepts to be not simply spoon fed. Its a deep thinkers game and one that I wish I was up to completing with a sense of satisfaction to be able to recommend it, but I have given up part way through with completing it as I feel I am needing too much external forum help to be able to make it seem like it was ME that completed it.
