THE BASICS OF THE GAME

Bassline Sinker is a Shooter / Bullet Hell game that responds to your choice of music. You’re a Stingray (I believe) and you do battle with various under sea creatures out to do you harm. It’s a rhythm game, but you need not worry if you’re not good at them. Choose the right music track, weapons and armor and that’s it. If you’re good at and enjoy good shooters, you’ll have no problem with the play mechanics of this game.

Dance-eJay music ?

Pros

  • some story (save the princess :D)

  • nice art and animation

Cons

  • framerate up to 800 really drives the gpu up and

consumes allot of power and no way to stop not even

from the nVidia control panel, awful

  • clunky menu system

  • beat based movement is way too annoying and cumbersome,

just leave me to go already, i have faster reactions

and button presses than this beat

  • the constant zoom in and out

without player controlling it is horrible

  • the scenery constantly getting in my way obstructing my vision,

I wouldn’t recommend this game even for the low price of 1,79€ as it’s priced during this steam sale (2017). I got this game in a humble bundle for years ago but couldn’t get myself to finish it until now for several reasons

Firstly, the good parts: The soundtrack. It’s excellent, no doubt about it. Also the game got some rather nice backgorunds and coloring for the most part, The humor kind of works for the most parts and the “sound” the characters does is charming. The story serves it’s purpose but not much beyond that. Everything else is a mess with this game.

Hello Y’all!!!

You know me from the classic that is “Puzzles for Smart - Horses” and Im here to tell you - THIS IS IT!

The makers sure know how to put the most adorable horses and fishes and isolate them in this unique puzzle game for the whole friend group!

This time I played it by myself but it absolutely didnt take away my enjoyment - in fact I encourage it! Just me and this game gave me time to truly appreciate the game for what it is. Fishes are of course not as captivating as horses so there’s that but I cannot recommend this game enough!

Bought this game to get some fun alternative to BoxVR. And that’s exactly what I got. This is not “serious workout”, unless you try it only in impossible mode (or try some songs from Beat Saber), but that’s why it’s better. You can just let go, listen to the music, box your way and before you know it, you end up with sweaty T-shirt, but loving it. Many people compare this to Beat Saber, but I guess I see it more comparable to some boxing games, I tried other weapons once or twice, but in the end the boxing gloves were the right thing for me. About the songs: definitely more than I’m used to. Combine that with the fact that each song contain 5 different difficulty levels and you have several hours of playtime without repeating same song with same difficulty. It’s true that custom song support is not that great - many songs for Beat Saber simply have too many boxes for boxing game - but you occasionally can find a usable song. Or, do it like me and check “no fail”. But the best thing I see on this is the multiplayer possibility - actually seeing someone else playing it on your left / right, waving etc, that’s something I did not see in VR fitness games before, and definitely loving it.

This has been a full family go to game for many hours already .. Love the constant feature updates and the fact that it has not crashed since day one.

Punching dancing orbs at first did not seem like it would be a great thing. Once I got into it, and of course putting in a few ‘custom mod songs’ obtained from internet sources made the game all the better.

Best workout I’ve had in YEARS and I keep going back .

I cannot wait till it is finished.

One of the best titles in my entire VR library.

edit after the recent updates

Dragon ride is more incredible again the best dragon game we could wish and has a lot of new modes

rhytm and ride it is awesome ,we can use swords and a ot of others weapons in rythm with music

the free fly mode is wonderfull , we could not have more the feeling to be on a dragon on the air , on the ground , in the water ( with a lot of customisation to unlock)

and mini games modes amazing like using crossbow with power up or do treasure hunt to find the eggs of the dragon and where giant crossbows try to kill you

Full disclosure - I was involved in early testing for this game. I can tell you the lead developer is really respoinsive and a joy to work with. That’s the reason this game keeps getting better, and is well worth the $$. Aside from that, this is an honest review for a really fun, must-have in my opinion, VR game that’s for everyone. I love dragons myself, like just about everyone that’s faithfully watched Game of Thrones, or any other similar story, the dragons are the best part. I had been looking for a dragon-riding game and this is one of the best.
