Crimson Ranch
The atmosphere is really effective, you feel claustrophobic even in the open areas, I was alert the whole time.
The art and music (specially the music) highly complement the experience.
I liked the puzzles too, nothing was unnecessarily complicated :)
I got the characters mixed up all the time and I’ll have to replay it to get the full story but that’s on me.

The story was short, and very nice.
Best I could expect from 2D graphics, all this dev’s games have the same style.
Sometimes it is hard to figure out what you’re supposed to do, but nothing a bit of spamming the interact button can’t fix.
Lots and lots of dead animals.
Very good game for three dollars.

Welcome Back
Loved this game! Pretty retro art style which grows in complexity as we “evolve” into more complex lifeforms. There’s so many details about it that show that the creator spent a lot of time polishing the game’s edges. Although it seems simple, Welcome Back surprises us as we accept its invite to search for secrets.
That many secrets to uncover make the game to feel magically alive, as we dialogue with it, asking questions of “what if” and receiving “yes"s as answer.
I strongly recommend that you play it to the very end, going after each of its nine trophies. The last one is so mindblowing (the challenge itself and the reward) ✨✨✨

Short game in which you play a recently deceased gamer who gets a second chance by god. However, after getting on god’s bad side, the gamer’s turned into an ameba and has to overcome five evolution stages to finally reincarnate as a human. Each stage is made out of 4-5 puzzles where you need to reach the golden star.
-
1. Stage plays similar to Kirby. You need to swallow enemies and use them to break rocks or eliminate sparkling enemies.
-
2. Stage has you controlling two snails (one with WASD, the other with arrow keys) that need to work together by pushing or turning a certain object.

Update: The developer has updated to game to address some of my concerns. That is very cool. ‘Easy Mode’ has been added, which is still very hard.
RE: Unapproachable Controls: Slight turns are now possible, and a fun drifting mechanic has been implemented. This is a big help.
RE: Powerups and road hazards look similar. Helpful icons have been added over power ups that help differentiate them from hazaards.
RE: Death walls. The walls of the arena electrocute you, and cause damage to your car. A front end collision with a wall is basically a death sentence. This is still a frustrating way to end a match.

Dark Abyss
I really like the potential with this game, the combat feels really nice and the dodge while a little wonky is quite versatile, the combo attacks are awesome and the parkour challenge for the 4th heart slot is quite nice.
In the future i hope to see more enemy variation, higher quality sound effects and a more fleshed out boss fight for the dash ability, other than that this game has really good potential and a strong foundation, keep up the work and i look forward to the next update :D
To anyone wondering at time of review the game is only about 20 minutes long AT MOST. It is very early access and is more of a tech demo. If you want to support the developer i highly recommend purchasing this.

After Shadows
I don’t understand it. It has some “game sessions”, so is it some kind of rogue-like game?.. Doesn’t seem to be a metroidvania at all…

Path of the Martyrs
Path of the Martyrs is an excellent adventure!
The time I spent as Saiyato in the world of Delma was rewarding.
While battles proved somewhat easy, they were also a lot of fun. The combat and skill systems have depth, and fun realtime arcade elements in some cases that keep you on your toes. Resources are plentiful for thorough explorers.
The real challenge is the puzzles. Kazuki Takamura is a clever designer when it comes to these. There are many types of puzzle, and the difficulty level is a nice balance between frustration and satisfaction.
