I’ve been looking for a realistic ATC simulator for years. Although not perfect, this delivers the closest experience than any other games. The voice recognition is still a little buggy, and I’m assuming newer sp’s will fix the performance speed (occasionally, I’ll notice a little jerkiness in moving objects). I added on a realcolor program (not available on steam) to get the “real-life” airlines for each airport as well as the coloring of the planes match the current airlines paint schemes. I reccomend the real-traffic add-in as well (also not available on steam–darn).

I love this game, personally. It has a high learning curve, but you’ll pick it up quickly if your passion for aviation or ATC (Air Traffic Controlling) is strong enough.

I’m neither a pilot or real ATC, just an enthusiast who spends hours watching aviation channels, and gaming channels that focused on this game. I truly wanted it, If you’ve watched videos on this topic, if you watch people play 30 minutes or an hour at a certain airport on youtube and wanted more? This game may be for you.

I say may because there are too many issues with game itself. EVEN IF you hit all the benchmarks above I still want you to be weary of this purchase.

Tom Clancy’s EndWar™

Tom Clancy’s EndWar™

EndWar is a game that I absolutely love. It is one of the new wave RTS games where you do not build bases and only control the units you have and have to make the best of it. It is not an strategy game, it is a TACTICS game and it does it very, very well. The combat is rock-paper-scissors with many combinations, plus special attacks that can turn the table on a stronger opponent. Couple that with the three supports (Air Strike, Force Recon and Electronic Warfare) and you can have quite dynamic battles.

WARNING: SPOILERS

EndWar is a game for those who prefer strategy over running like a maniac with SMG’s. You are a colonel, your rank is only below the generals, although you really have more combat power than they do. As a commander of the Joint Strike Force (USA), the Enforcer Corps (Europe), or the Spetsnaz (Ruskies), you get your very own battle advisor, in other words, a war secretary, a whole battalion of your nations finest, and access to WMD’s (Weapon of Mass Destruction). One of those weapons being a big sattalite dropping kinetic rods with enough firepower to take out Time’s Square. The combat is simple. click on a unit, and tell it: Attack enemy, Secure Uplink (Major Part Of Game), Send Nuke Here, or even evacuate to ensure its survival. However, the game was engineered for one purpose,,,,VOICE COMMANDS. Yes ladies and gentlmen, even though this was made in 2008 it still surpasses even Googles voice search. Using a simple way of speaking to units such as, “Unit 3, attack hostile 4.” Why use a mouse when you can just say “SEND THE NUKE!” Before I get excited, i’m gonna stop myself and just finish with this. Watch a gameplay video, see if its your cup of tea, buy the tea, and DECLARE WAR!

Binary Domain

Binary Domain

Binary Domain was yet another part of a (free) bundle given away by SEGA, featuring mediocre games mainly. When I started playing it, I was expecting an average shooter (the reviews didn’t provide much clue). What I got was an absolutely positive surprise in all aspects. But I’m not explaining this fact that I liked this game so much with the element of surprise: I wish every overhyped AAA game could provide as much fun as Binary Domain did. It has everything a good game needs: a thrilling story, excellent characters and funny (!) dialogues, choices & consequences and of course great combat with fluid controls. This is one of those games that would require a sequel, but apparently won’t get one, since the game never received the proper amount of praise and appreciation it should have deserved.

Binary Domain is a Third-Person-Shooter with a cover system set in the future after catastrophic events led the world to some major changes.

In 2080, due to climate changes, the world faced the large flood ever existed, and in search for cheap, reliable labor, the humanity turned to robots, in hope for a better future. To lead this revolution is Bergen, a US-based company, responsible for manufacturing robots for all over the world. But Bergen is not the only one in the business. Amada, a Japanse company, sued Bergen for stealing their technology. Bergen won, much because of its influence… They do manufacture over 90% of world robots, and this made the USA more powerful than ever!

This game’s really good, just waiting for more words. It can get kind of rough with some of the more out there words, but everyone I’ve met have been really great to play with. Looking forward to seeing this blow up on Twitch.

Taught the Dev what the word Simp was. Never laughed so hard in my life. I absolutely love the game creators humour,

It is a very good party game, good for joining and trolling around in! Strongly recommend giving this game a shot, especially for the price it is a steal!
