Legion TD 2 - Multiplayer Tower Defense
Awesome multiplayer auto-battler, with a thriving, generally nice community, and ongoing development!
Stop waves of enemies!
In Legion TD 2 (LTD) you have to stop enemies that spawn in waves on your ‘lane’. The enemies give a bounty for each kill, and with that gold you can buy new fighters in between the waves. The game gives a recommended value of your fighters for each wave consisting of the total possible value that comes spawning. Depending on the type of units you have put on your lane with all their synergies and positioning, this value can be either too high or too low. For instance, a collection of only tanks (units that soak damage well, but don’t deal much themselves) will probably not clear a wave.

Plays just like the original WC3 map + much, much more, for anyone who is a fan of tower defense, multiplayer/co-op and strategy games, will definitely love this, for the developer AAG i can’t wait to see the extra campaign maps as well as potential dlc content perhaps something event based like a new boss (similar to btd6 like the bloonarius events) or endless mode with different waves to see how long you and a friend or 7 other friends can survive, there is so much potential and i cant wait to see it unfold , but as it is for its price, its well deserved of its positive reviews and again if you’re even remotely thinking of purchasing this game, as Shia LaBeouf would say, “just do it”, you will not regret it.

AegisM
As a fully integrated three dimensional game, AegisM makes other tower-defense games look like crossword puzzles. It has changed the genre completely. Play as a character who moves around, places towers, utilizes abilities, and shoots weapons in an effort to survive as long as possible. The enemy mobs are challenging and diverse. Each map requires a different strategy. The builds and possibilities are endless. Don’t be afraid to experiment :) I have enjoyed every one of the 160+ hours I have played this game. Highly recommend!!!!

Been playing this gem during development in early-access with non stop enjoyment.
If you love Tower Defence then you’ll for sure get lost in this game.
The game offers a unique style to tower defence including competitive leader boards (which makes me enjoy it the most)
fun challenges, unlockables and CO-OP gameplay which allows you to rule the leadersboards with your friends if you have good synergy and teamwork or simply just prove who’s the better player in PvP or beating them in leader boards.

Bloons TD 6
BTD6 is a fine tower defense game that features monkeys versus balloons. Don’t let the cute and colorful appearance fool you though: it’s easy in the beginning, but you can easily choose more challenging scenarios that will test your abilities thoroughly.
There’s a bit of a grind at first to unlock everything, but there’s so much content, that just playing the game will get you there. Daily and weekly events are great and give you a chance at more free stuff. There’s plenty to do in co-op too.

Bloons TD Battles
This game used to be good: fast-paced, pleasantly complex, strategy-based, and lots of adorable monkeys. There were some problems: clan bugs, COBRA tower, cheating, and unwillingness of support staff to do anything about the cheating, but overall it was pretty playable. To play at the highest level, or just have maximum fun, a couple minor purchases were helpful but not required, primarily club access for additional arena modes with special rules.
Instead of fixing those problems, Ninja Kiwi introduced “powers” as a way to squeeze money out of existing players. Basically the game went from being focused on strategy and skill to being focused on grinding to unlock the best powers and use those powers to defeat opponents.

I originally began playing this game because a Youtuber I liked would often play this game with his subscribers. I had originally put off downloading the game even though it was free because of numerous negative reviews had made me wary of this game. The main part of this game that I was originally worried about was this game’s version of a premium membership being club access.
Once I began playing the game I realized that although the game is fun it is also tiring in the beginning as you start with a small fraction of the monkeys. Although at times being limited was frustrating looking back I’m glad they did it this way for a few reasons.

Cubemen
Cubemen was a strange experience for me. Somehow I had gotten myself a little excited about this game, not sure why, it didn’t exactly have much of a hype going for it. But there I was, actually looking forward to this game. And boy was I disappointed.
Cubemen is a Tower Defense game. You place your towers, or cubemen on the map and move them around as necessary to shoot the enemies who will come at you from a multitude of spawnpoints on the map. They use a variety of weapons who’s damage potential, type of damage and accuracy varies decently. Unfortunately several easy strategies exist to completely overpower the enemy early and take command of the game to the point where any challenge disappears out the window.

In my opinion, Cubemen is a ludicrously underrated game. It is incredibly simple in concept but it is executed incredibly well making it a huge amount of fun, the really simple but highly polished graphics also give this game a great charm to it.
Cubemen is a blend of Tower Defense and Real Time Strategy, something that can be very difficult to balance but Cubemen does it relatively well. There are a nice variety of units to chose from and an eclectic selection of official & community-made maps that give this game a lot of playability in both single and multiplayer games, this is a great game to play either alone or with friends.

Dungeon Defenders
Updated Review
After more than 6,000 hours in this game the day has come to quit Dungeon Defenders. Easy to imagine that I’ve given a recommendation before. Unfortunately recent updates made by the Community Development Team (CDT) ruined the game - at least for me.
To my knowledge the CDT has been introduced to fix bugs, adding quality-of-life changes such as new content. Instead they also change core mechanics of the game such as RNG, towers and enemies. Things we were used for long 5 years are getting changed out of the sudden because certain individuals within the CDT are enforcing their changes more or less.

This game, despite being old, as stood the test of time. It’s a wonderful game from my childhood that still fun to play whenever I jump back onto it. It’s never a dull moment in this game, and will always hold a place in my hearts. That doesn’t mean I don’t know the bad stuff about it, because loving a game doesn’t mean you see only the good parts, but you know what the flaws are and you either love them or are able to look past them. Lets go naming some shall we?
Pros:
The combination of RPG elements with Tower defence is smooth and feels natural.

Element TD 2 - Tower Defense
This game has most of what you’d ever expect out of a Tower Defense and more.
- There is a campaign that as of writing this contains two chapters(more coming) with plenty of achievements tied to it that you can go for if you want a bigger challenge, it will most likely take some figuring out either way, especially if you want to clear it on Very Hard. You get points for clearing missions and use those points to customize your loadout for each mission. I enjoyed this part of the game more than I expected seeing as I’m not much of a “campaign guy”, but there it is, the developers did a great job on it.

If you have ever liked tower defense games this is for you. It has everything; challenging campaign with achievements, hints if you work for a living and can’t devote endless hours to devise the best strategy, hints that you can also turn off if you like the hard path. You can change the modes from easy to insane, multiplayer with leader boards, a variety of maps, and they are changeable to your style and preference of play. I normally play everything from WOW, Diablo and Starcraft to Steam games like Blackthorne Arena and Ultimate General to Civ6 in a given week, but that has stopped since I found this. I was consumed with beating everything through Chapter 3 and getting 4 stars on each part of the Chapters and all of the achievements. Absolutely the best game for this price on Steam today. I want to do Chapter 4 now but since the patch I am even more interested in replaying all of the first 3 chapters again. That says it all right there. This game is just fun and I haven’t even tried the multiplayer yet because I didn’t think I was good enough until I mastered the chapters in the campaign first. Oh and it can be paused while online so you don’t have to worry about spending 45 minutes into a survival game and right when the ronalds hit real life interferes and you either have to pause the game or lose everything. The creators thought of everything in this game. My highest recommendation for anyone that likes this genre.

Pillars Of Protection
Pillars of Protection is a team-based tower defense game. Towers can move and take on complex movement patterns over time. You can play online multiplayer in PvP or PvE modes. Build a base to protect your core from the onslaught of incoming monsters. Play as a shooter, melee, mover, or healing hero. Join or create a team to work synergistically to overcome the hoards of monsters.
At the core, this game is a tower defense game where you must survive rounds of monsters. Towers can change location and you can define a position path for any tower to follow. You can strategically define paths and coordinate various towers to work systematically together. There are healing towers, stun turrets, defensive turrets, and boulders.
Tower Wars
In short: This is an AWESOME multiplayer tower defense game, but not too many people play it, so you should convince your friends to get it. You need a few hours to master all the mechanics, but then it’s great entertainment.
You and your opponent both have castles and barracks, and you need to send waves to destroy each other, while simultaneously upgrading your units and castles as well as tending to your gold mines. Gold is mainly needed for recruiting units, and as long as they are within enemy territory, they earn “battle points” for you, which you need for upgrades. This makes for some challenging gameplay, as you need gold to earn battle points, but also battle points to get upgrades to earn more gold, …

Do Not Buy!!!!!! Dev went bank rupt, no more company, no more updates, so game freezes and hard locks often. It’s a great game, I’m sad. Keeping the thumbs up because it was awesome and I’m very sad for this. Only thing it needs is some updates to work with new drivers and such. Still playable, but your experience will suffer. Sad day for a great game.
Tower Wars,
It’s not your average tower defence game. Sure it has a survival mode to play it that way but that’s not the sole action of this game. It’s a tower defender and attacker! That’s right you have to go on the offence or no matter how great you planning if you only defend you will fail. In fact if your balance of attach vs defence is even a little off you will fail. The computer baddys are tough, and may even break you heh.
