Invisible Fist

Invisible Fist

I’d score this between a 6.4…up to a 8.9

Which would of course be…on a scale of 1.002 to 11.822 (hopefully that’s not convoluted at all…I strive for clarity through uniform grading systems)

Bottom Line…

Creative, stylistic time management/card game (kind of a card game….you don’t really draw cards as far as I can tell…but it’s all good), I like the offbeat humor and I love the music.

It’s interesting….and I think I’d put it down as oddly appealing…I feel like for the price I should probably be getting a little bit more…or perhaps the mechanics aren’t as well developed as I’d like for them to be at the price point it’s at or something like that…but I’m enjoying the game and it’s one of those more than the sum of it’s parts things that make giving it any kind of objective score tricky….thus the range I gave above (see above).

Very hard, very stressful. I wont fault it for that though because that is the point. I keep getting frustrated yet I keep coming back. Hilarious concept, great execution and a bit too real sometimes.

Knightmare

Knightmare

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. between the cute enemies, the neat little story line, and the seemingly simple puzzle mechanic of mimicking the limitations of a Chess Knight - I was quite satisfied. My brain got an excellent work out from it. Took me almost 4 hours to beat, but i missed out on whatever happens if you beat it with all the coins - lost them dying in the last level (facepalm) so I have to play again. (not complaining) –- the soundtrack is a good bop too.

Amanda’s Sticker Book

Amanda’s Sticker Book

It’s a simple connect-3 game. There is no real depth to the actual “sticker book” it’s mostly a linear progression. Wish there was a menu button while at the sticker book itself, you have to start a match to exit the game which seems like an oversight. It appears e-FunSoft Games have a few connect-3 games and they’re pretty much re-skins of each other, but good at what they are.

Great game! The double layer boards are a pretty interesting spin on classic matching. The relaxed mode is just my style. Nice to see a developer that understands that different players have different expectations and they manage to hit the right options for different play styles.

Mining Empire: Earth Resources

Honestly, the thought process for the game is there but the execution was horrible.

It is also not optimized for widescreen, text, sliders, and buttons will be missing and unavailable.

total scam of $9

This is a day 1 review, and the question I am answering is on day 1, in it’s current state, do I recommend purchasing this game? Since this game is day 1, in early access, I will come back in a later time to review it again. This review is not final.

Pro’s:

An interesting premise

I really can’t think of much else

Cons:

No sound, no music. Just absolute silence.

Visuals are just a map and some stock pictures. If you are expecting more, ou won’t find it here.

I can’t even see where the fun will be at. (Will discuss further down below)

The Adventures of Jason and the Argonauts

The Adventures of Jason and the Argonauts

A lovely lively game with 9 chapters with up to 12 levels each. Great sounds and dramatic music. Buy items to build your town. Very enjoyable Match 3 with 3 difficulty levels (one untimed) and short mini-games to complete as well. I also enjoyed having new game pieces on the map throughout the levels so it never became boring.

The Adventures of Jason and the Argonauts (Match-3)

There are three difficulties to choose from - Easy, Normal and Hard - which will affect how long you have to wait for hints and skips, as well as the level timer. There’s no timer for Easy mode, and once you choose your difficulty, you’re stuck with it for the rest of the game.

There are no achievements.

The game includes every match-3 type that you can think of: swap-to-match, click-on-a-group, chaining, and later on, you even have conveyor belts moving your pieces around! Although there is occasionally a different objective, your usual goal will be to clear all of the gold and iron “plates” on the screen to proceed.

Greed 3: Old Enemies Returning

Greed 3: Old Enemies Returning

This is my least favorite of the Greed Series. The game had better puzzles than the others, I will give it that. However, it makes significantly less sense than the other games to me. For example, I did one of the hidden object puzzles, and it gave me a drill and a screwdriver. Huh? Those weren’t any of the objects I searched for in the list, and they weren’t anywhere in the scene! Also, the plot moves to the ridiculous side of things. And the characters are a bit over the top and one dimensional.

This is the true sequel to Greed: The Mad Scientist (the second in the series, Greed 2: Forbidden Experiments, is an unrelated aberration).

It features slightly improved gameplay as the first Greed, for example you can further examine some objects. Otherwise it’s pretty much the same average graphics quality and simplistic animation. The problem is that it is very, very short. I finished it in less than two hours on the highest difficulty. Also, it just doesn’t make a lot of sense: from the very beginning the point-and-click puzzles seem arbitrary.
