Escape of Mari: The Polar Ladybug
Who knew that a tiny ladybug could cause so much headache? Help Mari navigate and make your brain twist for a solution in this frozen puzzler that will warm up your hearts. It’s difficult but fair.
It’s a very underappreciated game that got lost with a high initial price. It was worth that price as it is actually very very good but nobody ever gave it a chance.. I’ve had it for quite some time but unfortunately couldn’t review it (before the price drop).
Given the price reduction BUY IT A-S-A-P as you are missing out. Very nice stages, good design, smooth gameplay and a real puzzler that will take a lot of your time to finish. It can frustrate at times but you will get the handle of it and feel accomplished in the end of the level.

Hammerfight
Is this game still being developed? Because it’s sooooooooooo good, if a little short (and lacking in multiplayer co-op, i’d love to go on a hunt with me and 2 other friends, swishing our better-than diamond swords around ;-;). The armoury is a huge assortment of mostly unique weapons each with a potentially unique fighting style.
The weapons are divided up in to 5 main categorys: swords, maces, flails, guns and axes, note: there are a few other things that don’t exactly fit in to any of the categories and also a fair few misc usables and things flails have chains and can deal a massive impact on a direct blow, the chains are normally a fair amount longer than the other weapons, and therefore have more reach, the swords seem to be a little weak as they can not deal a huge stunning crush like the axes and maces and flails, but still have a greater balance which makes it easier to aim when coupled with guns, oh and i forgot to mention, you can combine any 2 weapons together to make a combo weapon thing, quite fun! There are not too many guns (There are 5 guns to be precise) and it’s not easy to just use them as they are, they have an infinite amount of ammo, but the reloads are long and tend to have only 5-20 ammo cap. They are unfortunately over powered when in the AI’s hands as they seem to have aim-hacks and a much faster cooldown etc. The axes are sort of a combo between maces and swords, and can deal a crushing blow like the mace, whilst still capable of the alacrity contained by the sword. The maces are a great way to start of your learning, easy to handle and deal a crushing hit, but not so useful late-game.

Criminally underappreciated! This game is packing more quality pound for pound than most others. It’s a real diamond in the rough, and it certainly is rough, but it offers so much that you can’t find in other games. I don’t think that there’s any other game that uses its thematic style, for one thing. It seems vaguely middle eastern but not really, vaguely steampunk but not really. It’s just endlessly interesting. The engine, too, is astounding considering how little it’s talked about. It’s so robust that it enables crazy things to occur. I once hit a guy so hard that, in the endlessly looping arena, he passed over my head multiple times before he hit the ground. It really is amazing. The game has so much replay value, too. You start out with only the ability to do your story missions as an almost nameless grunt, but you unlock the ability to buy weapons and go on hunts. Eventually you’re decked out in ornate armor and weaponry, with titles so long that they take half a minute to list. It never stops being satisfying. Definitely buy this game. 5 bucks is a steal.

Mine Dungeon
I put 8.4 hours into the 50 levels that this game gave, the game is kinda like minesweeper if you added extra random elements to make it more difficult. Id say it was worth it, but thats just because I love minesweeper, The explanation for the additional elements they put in are explained incredibly bad and in very broken english. And the ending was well… youll see, no like seriously, get this game and finish it so you can see. 3/5

Let me start this review by saying when I saw this while browsing the Golden Week sale page, I bought it kind of as a joke, but also because I am a big fan of minesweeper. The idea of a 3D minesweeper game where you take control of a character paired with gimmicks in the form of various items and enemies interested me immediately, so I bought the game for the sale price of $0.69 US. Here I am, after nearly 6 hours of play writing this review. I found the variety of levels to be entertaining with at least a bit of thought put into their layouts. I found that generally the difficulty scaled well as you progressed, with a few levels near the end being seemingly cake walks compared to a couple that had me stuck on them for upwards of 20 minutes (especially the last level, wow). Sure, there may be flaws, such as the rough English translation, or the graphics being pretty lacking, but are those things necessary for a silly 3D minesweeper game? Of course not. Looking past those things, this was a worthwhile experience and I had a good time playing this game. I hope the developer is encouraged by this review (and others) to continue working on new games, as I really enjoyed this one. I would definitely recommend purchasing this game if you are a fan of minesweeper and would like something a bit different.

Draw Slasher
You know a game’s gonna be hard when you’re having a helluva time just making it through the Tutorial. Fortunately, Draw Slasher is one game whose novel mechanics you gradually get the hang of, and for a short while thereafter you might even fool yourself into believing you’re pretty good at it. Don’t get too cocky, though. Get your guard down for more than a second, and this game knows how to hand your arse back to you, in several more pieces than it started.
Even the so-called “Easy” mode will give you a run for your money, especially if your hand-eye coordination and reflexes are as dodgy as those of the person writing these words. But rest assured: persistence can pay off, and it’s in the personal rewards department (y’know, pride an' all that stuff) that Draw Slasher truly pays off. Almost every new enemy requires its own strategies to take ‘em down, e.g. attack ‘em only from behind, look for the chink in their armour, etc. Learning each of these strategies, then becoming increasingly competent at executing them, is enough to convince even the crappiest of gamers that they can make it one checkpoint further (and maybe, just maybe, get past that pesky boss once and for all).

Sub-Par Mobile Game, Horrible PC Game.
While playing this game and achievement hunting it, I made up some key points to why this game isn’t really worth a purchase. The main point of mine is that the key mechanic, which is drawing with your mouse to make your character attack and jump, isn’t a good idea to be distributed to a computer-only market. Not only are the hitboxes for the draw mechanic incredibly off and don’t feel right, but the general concept doesn’t appeal to mouse-keyboard gaming, as I found it very hard to complete the story mode and challenge modes alike with this mechanic. Another point for this game being not as great would be the boss fights; I would completely understand if this was a budget issue, but the boss fights (and fights in general with the average enemies) aren’t engaging at all. No second phases, no gimmicks, nothing—the game’s story mode has nothing to offer in thrill and difficulty other than training you how to accurately draw lines with your mouse.

Point Perfect
This is a fun little twitch-action arcade game with randomized elements and a quirky and immature sense of humor. It’s not nearly as difficult as the store page makes it out to be; it’s surprisingly well-balanced, clever, and fair.
In this game, you control the same mouse cursor that is used by your operating system (if you find the game too difficult, you might have to tweak your mouse’s speed and acceleration settings, or just get a better mouse). You defend yourself by dodging enemies and gain points by drawing selection boxes around enemies. You can collect up to 3 powerups to expand the size of your selection box, but you’ll lose them if you die. And that’s all there is to it.

A simple but unique game in which the mouse cursor is your spaceship. You attack by dragging boxes over your enemies while weaving carefully around obstacles and bullets. Sounds easy, but it ain’t; one wrong twitch of the mouse, and you’re dead. The mechanics are very slick, though, so it’ll always be your fault. If you enjoy trollish humor, you will more than likely get a kick out of the multitude of meme-inspired bosses (my favorite so far is an emoticon that belches red ascii phalli).

Amanda’s Sticker Book
It’s a simple connect-3 game. There is no real depth to the actual “sticker book” it’s mostly a linear progression. Wish there was a menu button while at the sticker book itself, you have to start a match to exit the game which seems like an oversight. It appears e-FunSoft Games have a few connect-3 games and they’re pretty much re-skins of each other, but good at what they are.

It’s so hard to find a good match-3 game. This is one of them. Thanks for the nice experience! This game has it all. Including beautifully designed gems which are hard to spot! Story that glues the experience together, smoothness, good professional design, even translation to my language which I didn’t need but it’s ok. Finally a game that I couldn’t take my hands off and felt urge to play on. Good product! Now I pity it’s over.
Criticism: sure to perfection it lacks more compelling story, less artificial or less cliche story, better art - one that would not be so kitchy and which would be less amateurish and a better translation. Thanks to these imperfections the game stays as just no-name game in game history, as it doesn’t bring any cultural contribution. But it’s professionally and well made product anyway. Relaxing and fun enough.

Great game! The double layer boards are a pretty interesting spin on classic matching. The relaxed mode is just my style. Nice to see a developer that understands that different players have different expectations and they manage to hit the right options for different play styles.

Snow Jewels
Fun little game.

snow jewels is a cute match-3 set in a snowy world where our protagonist and her cat end up after an encounter with an evil dragon. the story is a bit silly but amusing, presented via black and white drawings and not great writing, which adds to the charm for some while annoying others.
