In the end, I never met my grandma. I wonder how she looks like.

I wish that I will like this game. I like match 3 games but match 3 game is no longer fun if requires so much effort to play it. Maybe I’m lazy or maybe I’m not good in exploring places but every level took me almost or more than an hour to finish it. Also, it will be better if they allow the player to put in the number of resources to convert to coins. I have 8000++ woods and stones. If I have to convert them to coins, I have to keep clicking the ‘up’ arrow until it reaches the number.

Due to the many hours I have acquired whilst playing this modern day masterpiece. I can confidently confirm that this conglomeration of game play mechanics excellently blends together to form an experience worth sharing with the family.

The primary game play loop of shining the torch light onto the primary antagonist Count Malodorous Von Dookie-Fart has been a very addictive yet strangely satisfying experience. Seeing the count slow and drawn-out death animation provides me with a sense of euphoria due to the knowledge of the many war crimes he has committed against the state of Israel. However, one criticism I do have on this shining marble statue of a game is that we do not know about the lore behind the counts actions. Does the count have a deep yet tragic backstory detailing how he became the count we battle against in the final product? What is the backstory of our protagonist? What town is he a sheriff of? Simply so many questions that I hope will be answered in the sequel.

Is this game still being developed? Because it’s sooooooooooo good, if a little short (and lacking in multiplayer co-op, i’d love to go on a hunt with me and 2 other friends, swishing our better-than diamond swords around ;-;). The armoury is a huge assortment of mostly unique weapons each with a potentially unique fighting style.

The weapons are divided up in to 5 main categorys: swords, maces, flails, guns and axes, note: there are a few other things that don’t exactly fit in to any of the categories and also a fair few misc usables and things flails have chains and can deal a massive impact on a direct blow, the chains are normally a fair amount longer than the other weapons, and therefore have more reach, the swords seem to be a little weak as they can not deal a huge stunning crush like the axes and maces and flails, but still have a greater balance which makes it easier to aim when coupled with guns, oh and i forgot to mention, you can combine any 2 weapons together to make a combo weapon thing, quite fun! There are not too many guns (There are 5 guns to be precise) and it’s not easy to just use them as they are, they have an infinite amount of ammo, but the reloads are long and tend to have only 5-20 ammo cap. They are unfortunately over powered when in the AI’s hands as they seem to have aim-hacks and a much faster cooldown etc. The axes are sort of a combo between maces and swords, and can deal a crushing blow like the mace, whilst still capable of the alacrity contained by the sword. The maces are a great way to start of your learning, easy to handle and deal a crushing hit, but not so useful late-game.

Criminally underappreciated! This game is packing more quality pound for pound than most others. It’s a real diamond in the rough, and it certainly is rough, but it offers so much that you can’t find in other games. I don’t think that there’s any other game that uses its thematic style, for one thing. It seems vaguely middle eastern but not really, vaguely steampunk but not really. It’s just endlessly interesting. The engine, too, is astounding considering how little it’s talked about. It’s so robust that it enables crazy things to occur. I once hit a guy so hard that, in the endlessly looping arena, he passed over my head multiple times before he hit the ground. It really is amazing. The game has so much replay value, too. You start out with only the ability to do your story missions as an almost nameless grunt, but you unlock the ability to buy weapons and go on hunts. Eventually you’re decked out in ornate armor and weaponry, with titles so long that they take half a minute to list. It never stops being satisfying. Definitely buy this game. 5 bucks is a steal.

This game is pure RNG. Your task is to guess which one out of 3 symbols will come next, and build a high streak of correct guesses. Failing the prediction once will reset your streak.

The final achievement is to get a streak of 10. In each round you have a 1/3 = 33.3% chance to win. Your chance to get 10 correct predictions in a row is (1/3)^10 = 0.001693508%. Statistically you will need to play 3^10 = 59049 rounds to get a streak of 10. Doing a geometric distribution with p = 1-(1/3), statistically you get an expected value (= average streak) of 0.5 correct picks. The game takes about 4 seconds to reveal if your prediction is correct. So statistically you will need (1+0.5)4 = 6 seconds in average to complete one round; so to complete 59049 rounds you would need an average of 590496 = 354294 seconds (= ~246 hours = ~10.25 days) to complete the game (as in: get all achievements).

TL:DR It’s not fun. It’s not cute. It’s annoying and shouldn’t even be on steam. For the price, it’s a pass. If they paid me, it might be worth it… if they paid me high enough.

I didn’t trust the reviews I read. You can only read three and two are negative. There’s a reason for the negatves. There is no game to it at all. You put on an autoclicker and hope for the best. After over 8 hours still nothing close to the 10 streak. Sitting there clicking them will give you less. There should be something that helps you in selecting which card is next. If they’d add some hint system that kicks in after three in a row, and then gives obscure hints so you had some puzzle aspect to it then it would be a game. But nope. Whatever bug allowed for others to complete this has either been fixed or just requires a certain amount of hours or involved a card I did not pick. I do have the bug that doesn’t save your settings though. I put it on windowed and set the window to the size I want. When I restart the game it fullscreens after the intro to the game. Thanks for the added annoyance factor.

Battle Ram

Battle Ram

It’s a good game but I have some suggestions.

1. Maybe add a “are you sure” screen when you click the delete progress to prevent people accidentally deleting progress by clicking the wrong thing. Happened to me, not a big deal but it would be nice to have that.

2. Maybe some levels could be themed instead of just the usual level. Examples: Christmas (snow), Halloween, space, etc.

3. Add a level creator so people can create their own levels and beat them so that the game doesn’t get boring when you beat it.

In a very secret laboratory, the perfect weapon was being developed. And as a result of numerous experiments, scientists brought out a powerful creature - the Battle Ram. And now the ram must be tested at a military training ground. He has to fight robots.

So what exactly is Battle Ram? This is a lamb that runs around the arena. The character is controlled with the mouse. And all he can do is butt, he has no secret weapon. Actually, this is his main and only skill. The character runs around the arena, colliding with opponents. The musical accompaniment in the game is very cheerful and rhythmic. The game supports Russian.

7.5 hours later, first play and had a great time completing the puzzles. Frustrating here and there where i didn’t bother to think on the puzzles (instead did the old trial and error until I was like, ‘this is bonkers, let’s break this down, add it up and divide’). That said in this game a little effort goes a long way. It was enjoyed. We rate it 4 and a half royal-desserts (equal to 4.5 of those common stars).

It’s just like Nullum except that regions physically expand after you combine them (if their associated numbers don’t cancel out). The expansion causes the new region to physically touch other regions it wouldn’t have touched otherwise, so there are more options for combining. This made some of the levels harder than Nullum and some easier. Like Nullum, this is a clean, simple, minimalistic game that requires a lot of basic addition and either planning or trial-and-error. Levels can be restarted at any point, infinitely many times with no penalty.

Brilliant and fun game! Classic point and click with great humor, weird story, just the right kind of madness and entertaining puzzles to solve. I find it strange that this game hasn’t gotten more notice. I feel I stumbled upon a hidden gem and it made this rainy cold saturday pretty perfect.

Some of the translations are a bit off, but it doesn’t bother me. I recommend this to all that love point and click, quirky humor and solving nutty puzzles.

Draw Slasher

Draw Slasher

You know a game’s gonna be hard when you’re having a helluva time just making it through the Tutorial. Fortunately, Draw Slasher is one game whose novel mechanics you gradually get the hang of, and for a short while thereafter you might even fool yourself into believing you’re pretty good at it. Don’t get too cocky, though. Get your guard down for more than a second, and this game knows how to hand your arse back to you, in several more pieces than it started.

Even the so-called “Easy” mode will give you a run for your money, especially if your hand-eye coordination and reflexes are as dodgy as those of the person writing these words. But rest assured: persistence can pay off, and it’s in the personal rewards department (y’know, pride an' all that stuff) that Draw Slasher truly pays off. Almost every new enemy requires its own strategies to take ‘em down, e.g. attack ‘em only from behind, look for the chink in their armour, etc. Learning each of these strategies, then becoming increasingly competent at executing them, is enough to convince even the crappiest of gamers that they can make it one checkpoint further (and maybe, just maybe, get past that pesky boss once and for all).

Sub-Par Mobile Game, Horrible PC Game.

While playing this game and achievement hunting it, I made up some key points to why this game isn’t really worth a purchase. The main point of mine is that the key mechanic, which is drawing with your mouse to make your character attack and jump, isn’t a good idea to be distributed to a computer-only market. Not only are the hitboxes for the draw mechanic incredibly off and don’t feel right, but the general concept doesn’t appeal to mouse-keyboard gaming, as I found it very hard to complete the story mode and challenge modes alike with this mechanic. Another point for this game being not as great would be the boss fights; I would completely understand if this was a budget issue, but the boss fights (and fights in general with the average enemies) aren’t engaging at all. No second phases, no gimmicks, nothing—the game’s story mode has nothing to offer in thrill and difficulty other than training you how to accurately draw lines with your mouse.

Kombine

Kombine

An interesting combination game

What this game is: It is a combination game where by matching three similar value dice, you get to form one of a higher value.

How does it work? The game has 50 setups you need to solve. Each setup will have from one to three coloured bases (blue, yellow and dark orange). You need to move from these bases to “integrate” some like coloured dice located farther away. Moving means placing by default a one point die on each square you travel through, and once you’ve made three, the dice will automatically combine at the last die you’ve placed on the board. Once you have solved the 50 original setups, the game proposes you 5 timed speed runs of 10 setups each.

Real player with 12.9 hrs in game

I’m disappointed. First of all you can’t change to a windowed mode. Alt-enter will give you a window but the game doesn’t resize so it’s unplayable like that. Highly annoying. Second, there are two modes, your basic levels and they unlock the timed trials. Sounds like a lot of puzzles. Nope. Same ones. To make it seem like there are more puzzles the dev duplicated the original levels to make a new mode allowing you to time yourself. Why couldn’t that be in the basic leveling mode? If the puzzles were different and you had to complete them under a certain time frame, then okay. But the same ones and only seeing what you time is to beat yourself is bogus as a separate mode.
