RiMS Racing
This game makes Ride4 look like Roblox without the fun.
I’ve only played through the different bikes on a trackday type session, and I’m already astonished. The sensation of being on a real, overwhelmingly fast machine is second to none. Not even the best car simulation matches the sensation of speed of Rims.
First of all, I assume that the people reading this review will want a serious simulation, and will be playing in one of the ‘cockpit’ cam modes. Its not an arcade racer, be warned.
Why is it so good? Well, for a start the bikes have a heft to them that makes them feel like real, weighty machines, not the lightweight nonsense of Ride4. The steering feels grippy and correct, but is genuinely terrifying when you drop it to a steep angle on a sharp turn. It was actually shocking when I pushed it over hard on a chicane - the change of your weight from side to side felt real to me, so much so that I was disorientated for a moment. No other bike game has achieved that sense of immersion. You can really get in the flow.

RiMS Racing is a game unlike any other motorcycle title we have been given in past few years. It has features that make it unique. Thats why it is hard to compare it to Milestone games, GP Bikes or TDR. One of the main focus was set to attention to bike details and mechanics, with possibility to manually mount and dismount parts, allowing to upgrade and customise your ride. Additionaly each part can be damaged or used up, what requires to buy new stuff and replace the old ones to keep the motorbike in top condition.

This is what Road Rash should’ve been on the Sega CD instead of that lame Genesis port with CD music. In the context of it’s time, this would’ve been mind blowing to see/play back in the day with the realistic FMV road streaming ahead of you. If the low resolution graphics don’t bother you, it’s actually still very playable today, albeit a little shallow and easy. I don’t know if I would recommend this to everyone as it’s definitely a product of its time and it won’t hold up against Milestone’s Ride if that’s what you’re looking for, but if you are into innovative titles from the short lived FMV period this is one of the better ones IMO.

TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2
It feels so good when you can make full laps around the TT without crashing, let alone “win” the Senior TT on the same bike you own in real life, or even break Peter Hickman’s time…You’ll have to play with the gearing and suspension later in the game when the parts are unlocked to squeeze out the performance where you need it.
I also have Ride 3 and MotoGP 20, but I have the most fun with this game.
Some things I think would put this game over the top:
1. Optional replay view (after race completion) from perspective of the people spectating on the side of the road as you pass by at 203 MPH or like the YouTube videos at least. Maybe keep your fastest stats per turn where even the Legends get nervous and show those replays of how you’ve been faster through that area or turn. I would even pay for this as DLC, since this isn’t actually crucial for the game to play. This feature could even allow friends to view on the sidelines as you’re racing and then notify you that someone was watching after the race - so not to distract you.

In short, this is a soul-like racing game. Forget about the sense of speed, the best of this game is the sense of danger!
In 3rd person view, you won’t feel the physics. You need to play it in 1st person view. Camera movement means bike physics and that also help you to learn every part of tracks then conquer every track.

I’m a biker be able to put my knee on the surface in a corner. I may not know all riding techniques. But I am not a keyboard rider.

TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge
I will start this review by saying that I’ve first played it for 3h and I did’t enjoy it… left it for dead thinking it’s sh*t. But recently I’ve reed a book called Road Racer, Michel Dunlop’s biography. And just before his first ever Isle of Man race called Manx GP he said that What it was all about was You, Bike and the Road ahead… I don’t know why but it inspired me to get back to this game, learn how to master controls, handling and learn the legendary Snaefell Mountain Course… it took 73h and hundreds of crashes. But I love it now!

TT. Closer to the Hedge. (video: in game video replay capture to show the general graphics set at low/medium with a 750ti card)
Mind blowing sense of speed. Brilliant graphics. Full length TT course. For the TT and Real Road Racing fans who will be buying it anyway, Ride2 is your other contender, but it hasn’t got the TT course.
There is a lot of argument about the handling in this game. But it’s Road Racing, not Track, the handling is as unforgiving as the irregular road surface, it is brutal and challenging if you push hard, but extremely satisfying when you get it right. A few hours playing and you will realise just how good the physics actually is in this game.

Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator
all in all currently played 2 hours, had a bunch of fun.
I’m hoping for some lag fixes and keybind editing possibilities
Edit : since this comment , a bunch of stuff has been fixed : keyboard layout is now something you can change inthe settings, the lag has been fixed, loading times have been optimized, camera controls have been fixed (for working on the bikes, paint booth still is wonky)
disregard those in the cons !

Update: Feb 2021
Since the developers did a major revamp including a gazillion customised parts and colours I find playing the game tedious. No longer am I able to simply take parts off and on, paint them or build my own bike I find it extremely annoying having to memorise part numbers and colours. When I use to blaze through a repair now its a head beating against the wall experience that has ruined the fun for me. I did have fun with it initially but now I rarely play it.
I really enjoyed this game especially since I got rid of my own bike last year. This game is setup very similarly to other mechanic simulator games like CMS. Problematic parts are shown in red when it diagnostic mode and show as rusty in the regular view. Camera angles are pretty good. There are a few instances where you’ll select a part to re-assemble and the camera thrusts your viewpoint forward, past the area you are working in requiring a slight zoom-out or downward pan.

MotoGP™15
Being a motogp fan from day dot. The motogp series has always been worth a look at least. This version of motogp is one of the best so far over all.
Sure there are the odd niggle here and there , but i don’t think I have ever played a perfect p.c game.
Considering motorcycling is not as main stream as car racing , no big company has reallly tackled motorbikes and racing to make a truly awsome masterpiece like grand turismo did etc. … there was tourist trophy on Play station 2 but that was years ago and that game didn’t have enough bikes really.

i crashed too much in this game, need to get used to the physics (RIDE + GP13 mix).
marquez; “with 2014 bike, I create that slide. Now the problem is that the bike creates the slide, and I try to avoid it”
in my case, in GP14 i create that slide/skid into the corner, but now GP15 bike creates that slide then i crash, lol
i still prefer GP14’s physics, but yeah its a good game overall…
pros :
- better graphics, effects, so on. but color is kind of strange in shadow (assen starting grid), & in the rain

Motoride Rollercoaster VR
the perfect combination of immersion in the gameplay and the adrenaline that every episode in this game provides. it gives true pleasure.
I’m not, why there is still no multiplayer here, in which we could compete who will be the first to reach the finish line, or at least the honor roll.
in any case, I also really liked the single player game. I will wait for new additions to the game (for example, new locations or a choice of a motorcycle).
it seems that with such a game I understand that it was not in vain that I bought a vr helmet :)

beautiful and detailed levels, good and dynamic music in this game makes your adventure on the rollercoaster more interesting and breathtaking!
the actions take place dynamically, “slow motion” turns on at dangerous moments and it immerses you incredibly deeply into the game and makes the gameplay very exciting!
I absolutely in love with this game!

MotoGP™21
1. For someone who’s new to this game or jumping from MotoGP19 to MotoGP21 I have to say. You need to get used to with the controlling for a while. To handling is so slow and the braking is so inconsistent, you can lose the front wheel too easily while on the brake. I’ve played this game for a while and still don’t quite get used to the control of this game.
2. All the AI are unrealistic on how they’re riding. The AI difficulty is only make the AI faster or slower on the straight. They’re always crazy fast on the corner, no matter the AI difficulty you choose. You notice it more easily especially on the wet track. The AI seem to have more grip and be ridiculously fast on the corner and AI sometimes cutting through the grass to get the best lap time or to crash.

UPDATED REVIEW:
Ok so they finally fixed the Rain/Wet races. There are no 90% Wet/Rain races anymore.
But my Review still stays negative, the reasons are:
1.This game has some wrong Green areas in Valencia 1st corner and France last corner. Game invalidates lap if you exit track on area where REAL MotoGP riders exit track. As already mentioned, real MotoGP riders can freely touch outside track in Valencia 1st corner and can freely exit track on last corner in France, you wonder why? Because there are no Green areas present there, in MotoGP where Green track limit color is not placed you are allowed to exceed track limit.

MXGP2 - The Official Motocross Videogame
MXGP2 is the best MX game to date! And I’ve played pretty much every MX game going back to excite bike on the NES to having 277 hours in Reflex on the Steam/PC version alone (double that counting time spent on the Xbox 360 version). They really nailed it with physics, gameplay, graphics, and detail. There’s so much detail you can even see the welds in the swingarm! I came in expecting just a MXGP1 re-hash with some added tracks but it feels and looks totally overhauled with the exception of sounds which the rest is so good I can almost completely forgive the the sound which falls behind the quality of the rest of the game.

Having played MXGP and loved it, I was very excited to play MXGP 2. Several swear words and a broken controller later, I have some conclusions.
It is great. It’s better than the first. The handling is different and at times can seem a touch too sensitive, but once you get used to it, it really is nice. The whips and scrubs are slightly improved. The new layout is a bit add at first, but again, once you get used to it, it’s fine.
The game runs pretty smoothly, with only a slight hiccup here and there. It is nowhere near as bad as MX vs ATV Encore was (that game did get a decent patch to fix most problems).
