I haven’t played a Motorcross game since my PS2 days.

After some research of other titles I went with MXGP21.

I’ve seen people comparing the copy and paste formula that EA uses with Madden and FIFA.

I’ve never played a MXGP game before so i cannot weigh in on that comment.

Yet, I would assume, like any other chain franchise there may be some truth in that statement.

If you’re brand new I recommend this game.

-Soundtrack is great

-Physics are challenging (to me at least)

-Graphics look clean

This game is quite strange but enjoyable, I would like to master it soon to explore the whole worlds. It runs better while holding right click so it becomes its own challenge trying to hold right click while steering. either way for a dollar I am satisfied with my purchase, hope from more from flex etnerainment

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame

I’m going to attempt to give this game a fair unbiased review of my expereience in it so far. I’ve given it about 60 hours so far so that I could get familiar with it’s quirks, its yays and its nays…while i’m still having lots of fun, there are many issues that need to be resolved if the game is to be successful. I’ll try to update this review as patches, hopefully, come out.

Update 4/15/18

  • _Spinning green please wait circle seems to have been fixed.

  • Many of the bugs involving client crashes and stuck lobbies seems to have been fixed._

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videos is the newest installment of motocross games made by Milestone Games. Race all the supercross replica tracks from the 2017 season againts all your favorite professional riders from the 250 class and the 450 class (Besides a few riders whose contracts won’t allow them in the game). In this review, I will list everything off with a “Good, Bad, and Ugly” format. (wuv u grant 3) I’d also like to point out that I have been playing motocross games since Motocross Madness 2. I’ve played all the MX vs ATV games (besides Supercross/Encore), all the MXGP games, MX Bikes, and I race MX Simulator professionally. Nonetheless I know my moto games. Let’s get into the review.

Compared to the previous MXGP games MXGP 3 is fantastic.

Pros:

It’s better than MX vs ATV Suppercross. ( Supercross/Encore is CRAP )

Much better sound than previous MXGP games

Graphics are good (Will improve when devs fix the resolution issue)

Controls are pretty close to the MX vs ATV reflex days but a bit more realistic

Terrain manipulation works very well especially when capable of consistant lines

Menu system is easy to navigate

Loading times are really fast (maybe its just my PC?) i had MXGP 2 on PS4 and it took forever to load! This is seconds

Okay, I played it for the first time tonight and just spent the past two hours playing it. I’ll try to as unbiased as possible since I didn’t have that high of expectations nor did I like the first two MXGP games. That being said, this game is super fun! I didn’t like MXGP, MXGP2 I got a refund after the first couple of hours but this one is definitely a step in the right direction. I don’t plan on getting a refund and so long as there are some players online, I’ll play this game a lot.

Pros:

-Visually, the game is phenomenal. The best MX game we’ve seen yet. It works my CPU/GPU fans a bit but runs fine at 60 FPS. It really helps the immersion factor. Free roam camera and replays are cool!

Racing Bike Fight (Corona Virus Lockdown Special)

Feel like Zorro on a motorbike and “Wooosh!” enemies of their bike with your chained lasso or avoid obstacles and fight hovering boss cars. It’s a simple but addictive racing game with catchy music.

In General, I liked the game, and it is not expensive at all. I do not regret that it is in the collection.Although the game is for an Amateur.

MX vs ATV Reflex is widely considered to be the best arcade motocross game ever made, and it’s hard to disagree. Very complex and fun physics, easy to play but insanely hard to master. Its free air physics, the best terrain deformation in any game until Spintires appeared — in some ways it’s still superior to Spintires though — and legendary track design makes it a game which is definitely worth your money.

Make no mistake: this isn’t a game in which for the first day you will ride a bike like Ricky Carmichael or James Stewart. Over a hundred hours of gameplay and I still find myself a few seconds slower per lap than the top guys. You will fall, you will fail, and you will do it a lot, because the physics are very twitchy and sensitive, but when you actually succeed in nailing that perfect lap, that perfect race, the game will get incredibly satisfying.

Bike Baron 2

Bike Baron 2

Bike Baron 2 is a brand new motorbike racer that has been in development for the last 18 months, and it has reached a state where we would like to invite you to try the game out before anyone else, and provide your thoughts on the gameplay.

We are only accepting a handful of people at first to be able to keep the conversations about the game direct and personal on the Steam forums. You should have a computer with an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card from the last 5 years, and run Windows 10. We don’t want to focus on compatibility issues very much just yet, so anyone with an integrated GPU, such as Intel HD, will have to wait until a little closer to release.

Hardcore MX fans will love this. Controls felt strange compared to Reflex but once you’ve given them 30 minutes, you’re laughing. Would recommend to any MX fan!

EDIT

Having played this a lot more now, I’m going to write a half decent review.

Firstly, I will go onto the base game. As you can see the game is officially licensed, and as such contains most if not all riders, teams, and tracks of the Motocross Grand Prix. Bike sounds (MX2 and MX1) and physics have been faithfully re-created (I’m playing with ‘pro’ physics enabled) as have the decals and gear etc. The game plays very well, and any fan of the late MX vs ATV games will feel right at home with this having had to deal with the goon riding of ‘Alive’ (Although Reflex was outstanding imo).

I would recommend this game to any mountain bikers out there. If you dont like mountain biking irl then I would NOT suggest this game because you probably wouldnt understand alot of the mechanics. NOTE: If you disagree with this review dont say its not helpful because thats not how that rating system works.

Pros:

Feel (once you get used to the controls its really flowy)

Challenge

Level design

Mechanics (although there not true to real life)

Animations

Tricks ( Feels fucking awsome to through huge wips and do nac nacs :D)

I deeply enjoy playing this game. I purchased both this version and the mobile version a long while ago, both of which I enjoyed playing through and would reccommend to anyone who enjoys biking or gaming. When playing with a controller the stick sensitivity was an issue for me, so a sensitivity bar in the options menu wouldn’t go amiss (unless i’ve missed one somewhere), also I really like the first person camera, and spent a good half an hour-45 minutes playing 1 level over and over just because I enjoyed it so much. In order to fully enjoy this I feel that this may require some patching and control changes, such as forward and backward on the sticks on a controller, instead of left and right. Other than these small issues (and a couple of bugs, which, lets be honest, are HILARIOUS), this game is awesome and I love it to bits. :)
