A=B
Good programming game. The concept is very simple, but the problems are complex and challenging, and with all keywords “a=b” language is actually Turing-complete, so this is fun.

I haven’t played much of the game, but I’ve beaten chapters 1 and (almost) 2, and it seems quite fun. However, you should be aware that the game doesn’t strictly stick to having A=B be the only instruction - but so far the extra mechanics seem scaled back enough that it’s still true to the spirit of the idea.
Despite that, I’m enjoying my time with the game a lot. It encourages you to think outside the box and the restricted instruction sets make it very interesting to solve problems. I do wish the main menu was a bit more inviting (give some sort of indicator of where to click first perhaps?) as it does drop you in with little fanfare, but overall I’d say it’s a good purchase at the modest price tag it has right now. Very cool and fun concept :)

Recipe for Disaster
The game has been in E.A. for 10 days at the time of writing this review. After completing the campaign, I am sorry to say it’s a thumbs down.
It’s not because of some bugs (like the WASD keys not responding), some weird pathfinding (like your employees using the back door and running all around the building to sweep the front steps) or some data base missmatch (like the patrons who both love pork loin and hate pork loin) but because the core game mechanics are shallow.
In short:
- The recipe/culinary creation part and the expectation/feedback from patrons is a joke.

I feel like this game is a good precedent of a very shallow Early Access game. I literally played all 5 scenarios and tutorials 3 times including the bonuses. There are many things wrong with the game:
-
Constant UI glitches (like so many)
-
There is only 1 disaster that happens 2-4 times a day (fire)
-
AI is too basic
-
UI/UX overall is terrible (when viewing menu there is always a window that you cannot close on the right hand side and gets in the way of seeing your full menu/prices). Constant spam of messages in game you cannot turn off to0. I don’t want to know if Osama is making bad food every single time.

Pumping Simulator
Where would I start, I am pleasantly surprised, there are not many on steam like this immersive life simulations if you will. Perhaps this could be even called the most immersive of all of them, it is detailed , has a lot of well working features (maybe not some that much detailed as “Live the life” game but its more immersive)
and a few very interesting ideas (positives):,
-
along helping recruited npc employees, taking fuel from supply cars into the petrol pump.
-
unique idea - The goods you buy into your shop can be placed at once from a box just placing a box onto the shelves, they are automatically arranged into any shelf or fridge box, as you pull it over the shelf, once all are placed, the original wooden transparent box is automatically destroyed, and on the other side can be put out and consumed from the shelf one by one.

Overview
This is one of those times where writing a review is tricky, because recommendations are purely Yes/No and management sim Transport INC is in a gray area with a slight red tint from what was experienced in the story. Apart from the story, which is a campaign about the son of a bus driver who has ambitions of becoming a shipping tycoon who’s father very early own proves to not share-in on the main character’s ambition, the main character branches out from a bus empire to also trucking, which leads to other modes of transporting passengers and cargo. The game also has a casual Free Play mode and Global Race mode where the player and AI opponents compete against each other to “capture” cities by being the most profitable carrier.

I’ll start this review with something I normally wouldn’t need to do, a WARNING: At the time of writing, there is one achievement in the game that you can’t unlock (yet).
There is an achievement for completing the campaign on expert mode, however, the expert mode appears to not be added to the game. People who’ve completed it on Hard Mode have reported on the Steam Forums that it hasn’t unlocked the Expert Mode. I’m not sure if that is how it should unlock or if there is something else currently causing the issue, I just hope that in the future, this warning will not be needed.
