Gravitaze: One
This game may seem simple, but it requires a lot of attention, it goes beyond a maze. I liked it very much

I don’t see this game being worth $0.79, its practically one of those free mobile games. But the price almost costs nothing. It was a fun game while it lasted, I could keep playing if there were more than 50 levels. I like little puzzle games like this. This game isn’t hard at the least which is why I enjoyed it.

COPPER ODYSSEY
This game is one of the best I’ve seen from the RPG Maker crowd. It’s non-linear, and you can technically defeat the four bosses in any order, so if you enjoy exploring weird and colorful labyrinthine worlds, check this one out for sure.
Beyond the main quest, there are TONS of secrets and optional content you can do that kept me wanting to go back. It’s very short and not that hard, so doing multiple runs with different builds looking for easter eggs is easy and fun.

Copper Odyssey is a pretty nice-looking game.
The art direction is its strongest aspect thanks to excellent character designs and a good variety of art styles.
The designs of the enemies are especially really gorgeous and very distinctive between each other (putting aside the variations of some obviously) and certain art styles manage to either enhance certain scenes pretty well or contribute to the surrealist aesthetic of the world in general.
The music gives also a positive contribution to the mix. The best themes are the ones of each world you’ll visit, making the exploration of these more satisfying.

DSY: Don’t Shoot Yourself
Fan f-ing Dance
I was on board with this game up until one of the last levels in which the game rotates your mouse control (that’s the only way I can rationalize it; in practice it feels like you have no control) with no UI and the result is an unplayable level, even on easy. The game was hard but possible up until Fan Dance, so that’s still a good 1-3 hours of content depending on what difficulty you play on. But Fan Dance is terrible game design and definitely soured the experience, especially considering it’s so close to the end.

its pretty good, I found that due to the game being mouse driven some of the mechanic made things more chaotic than they should have been e.g I went through a teleporter but my mouse didn’t move so my character attempted to zip back to where my mouse is and then I lost because it ran into some bullets.
Aside from constantly beating levels obviously atypically to how the level design would suggest, it is a fun little puzzler that should be an app but is good enough of a game to feel right at home in my steam library.

Coloree
Coloree is a relaxing puzzle game with a very familiar mechanic that I have never seen in a puzzle game before: left-click and drag a box to change the color of everything in the box. The puzzles are increasingly challenging but the aesthetics and the sounds keep the relaxing theme going the whole time.
The reason that the mechanic is familiar is because it’s what we do in an operating system or a game when we want to select multiple things- brilliant! However, this game requires some novel thought processes when thinking about strategies to solve puzzles and it’s easy to get lost in the gameplay. The music and sounds are mostly from a marimba (Google it- it’s a giant xylophone), which plays a big part in setting the ambiance.

trappuzzler
Very interesting brainteaser. If you liked Sokoban, this is for you.
Beware of trapping yourself! Use R to restart. Again. And again. And again.
All I wish for is more levels

This game makes me feel like I’m trapped in a meeting giving my presentation on why balogna and lasagna don’t rhyme but I’m really distracted by a lump on the neck of one of my coworkers and I’m trying to decide if it’s rude to tell them it might be cancerous and they might want to get it checked out and oh god my mouth stopped talking and everyone’s still staring at me what did I say while I was thinking
It’s a Sokoban. It has 9 levels. The levels made me feel inadequately clever; usually I can see the solution to these things right away but this was not always the case in this game. The music is fantastic.

CARGAME
Flatout 3 killer.
This game gave me stage 3 prostate cancer and my wife left me with our 8 kids (it’s not all bad news after all). I would recommend this game too all of those who want to commit suicide and experience how horrible this world is.
This game is bound to not give you any will to live anymore, that’s for sure.

Line Dots
november 2021 edit: the 2.0 update added 30 levels, but saves aren’t compatible and the game doesn’t work as well as it did before, so I switched the review back to a non-recommendation.
line dots is a simple game about connecting colored dots on a grid, leaving no white dot unconnected. there’s a help screen explaining controls and there are 110 levels to go through, unlocked one by one. a level select screen got added after release, but the mouse wheel barely does anything, use the scroll bar instead. and if you played before the 2.0 update, you’ll have to start from level 1 again, unfortunately. changing some levels doesn’t make losing progress acceptable.

Simple puzzle game, sure, but it was fun and I did enjoy my playthrough. 50 levels is a tad bit short and I did accidentally restart a couple times, but overall not bad for a quick puzzle fix.

Gamitate - Meditate, Relax, Feel Better
I’ve really taken to this. A really calming game, with a blend of meditation and mindfulness, all backed up by a gorgeous soundtrack and some really nice visuals. Less a game, and more an experience, but a delightfully relaxing experience.

A nice and easy-to-use meditation tool. I didn’t even know there are so many different ways to meditate.
