i mean its not intended to be a game that you play over anything what so ever else :P this game is meant to be a easy demand on hardware background auto go and pop in during load times or ques inside other games and for that it is indeed nice once you get so far it became the typical mobile rpg esk game could even compaire to afk arena outside hero collecting dailies to get stonger and having everything time gated so you cant progress. the comments for this game say its bad because its p2w but not any worse than any other mobile game really :/ you can deff play f2p just wont have shiny mounts but power you gain from mounts will match with enogh days logged into the game same with all other machanics of the game it seems. i feel like most of the rage in the ratings for the game are caused because of the players having expectations for the game to be a diffrent kind of game lol like they thought it would be a actual mmorpg and its not its a mobile mmo and for what it is not bad just pull up ff14 or what ever your poison is and set this game to auto run itself before long you will be onto the dailies stuff :) worth a look at if nothing else :)

After careful consideration, and 1500 hours so far into this game, I feel that I am more than prepared to write a review. I AM NOT A PAID ADVERTISEMENT, I JUST LOVE THE GAME

Pros:

  • If you played this as a kid, it is the exact same. It has some expansions, and added gameplay, but overall it is still the same base game that I played as a kid.

  • The game gives plenty of content and you could be stuck playing it for hours.

  • Compared to most games the community here is pretty chill.

  • There are many side attractions from the base gameplay (pets, houses, fishing, etc.) that are pretty fun if you get into them.

Before my review i would like to explain some things…

This game is P2P, If you buy monthly subs you will get all access to areas. This is the only payment you have to do here. Like big games such as Ultima Online, WoW etc. This is also have subs.

This game isnt P2W. In PvP Arena items are only get by arena points which you will only get from making PvP.

In PvE, your crowns will just waste. Because there is some item schedule as far as i remember like;

at 60 you will get your class set from Waterworks

I’m a PVE type player. I don’t enjoy playing against other players, because almost always there is someone better than me just around the corner. And I’d rather enjoy fighting the environment.

I’m 49 hours into this game, still happily grinding away. For those that played the Heroes of Might and Magic games, the base building games, this is close to it. Except more detailed in the army management/equiping. The graphics are rather basic, but I can see that being fixed easily as they go.

For the current $5 cost of the game, it’s well worth it. And as the special currency is currently set, that’s not an issue, though I understand that will change.

After 135 hours and trying in-depth three classes, there was more that decided me not to continue to play than there were reasons to continue. DUNGEONS: All through the standard instances, through the heroic instances and the first two chaotic instances, I found the max-lvl players dominate the field and determine the gameplay. Even at lvl68, I did almost nothing but hang on and run to catch up to lvl70 players who killed only bosses in about one minute or less. I never felt I contributed anything to the fight. PETS: Pets are an essential part of the game play, but you’d never know that from the tutorials or quests. Although they are extremely easy and cheap to purchase or earn (in fact, one is given to you early on and levels automatically throughout the game, and another is a relatively inexpensive store-bought item), the development of a ‘great’ pet is so RNG-dependent that it can cost hundreds of $ in real money or hundreds of hours in time with a success rate that seems well under 5%. As an example, a hybrid-pet with a 1700 attack power potential and 4 skills could cost well over $100 of trial and error, and still not be a certainty. GEAR and ENHANCEMENT: You are misled by the first 60 levels in thinking that gear drops from trees and can be upgraded for free, and that later with a mentor in tow, you can be given rather exceptional gear for free. In truth, between lvl60 and lvl70 you become aware that there are half a dozen subsystems at work (cards, spirit, totems, runes, etc.) all of which are grind or RNG based, all with very low success rates, and none with any clear explanation as to what they benefit. The potential differences between lvl-70 players is vast; and if you are committed to the weeks or months to close that gap, that’s great news. But if you find yourself at lvl 70 doing 1/10th or 1/20th of the DPS of another lvl 70 of the same class, that can be disheartening not incentivizing. LASTLY GAMEPLAY, Lvl1 to Lvl60: You kill stuff –- that’s it. And killing stuff is very, very easy. You autopath to quests and mobs, you are given an F-key that can be spammed to cycle through appropriate skills, and as mentioned, you’d be lucky to even see a boss fight in an instance as you run to catch up to the lvl70 who has raced ahead to complete the instance in record time. FINAL OPINION: If you strictly avoid the P2W aspects of the game, you’ll find playing 3 or 4 different classes to level 60 can be very enjoyable. But be aware, that to be a good player at level 70 can be months in the future — and probably far from F2P.

The graphics even at medium quality are very pleasing, game is easy to solo and gear up with, though joining a guild is recommended imo; as it is much more fun to have people to play with. While you only get so many skills to use, the combat system can be fun and engaging, yet simple if you don’t feel up to harder fights. There is a lot to do between main quests, side quests, and daily quests, as well as many events to catch; though they are on a set time and time limit.

You do get shoved into open pvp maps in your level 60’s, but as far as my experience has been in them, no one really cares to attack you. Getting gear is easy and the enchanting system is easy to understand! You have a chance for a lot of resources between dungeons and treasure maps! The crafting system is simple as well, the biggest issue is needing to be in a guild to follow two crafting paths, so if you are big on solo play make sure you pick a craft you want for the rest of the game.

Leafling

Leafling

Leafling itself is a interesting game to say the least. The concept of it is great, really well thought out and over all a great game. The people who run the game are a COMPLETELY different story. The fact that they can ban you for simply asking for ETA (82 days waiting on 3 items.) on custom items that you have paid for is beyond me. They give you timelines of when you should be expecting them and fall back on those promises. They continue to “forget” to give people items that they have paid for(when they have the items apparently finished) and then blame the customer for “back charging”. It is clear to me why people who have purchased those items back charge as you simply just do not get what you paid for. Would love to support the game and see it grow but with developers such as Aesthetic make the game so unplayable due to her toxic mindset is just disgusting. It really pains me to have to leave such a negative review but the things that happened regarding Aesthetic just make the whole experience a dumpster fire.

Really love the game. Now playing it over 1 year and still having fun with all the content. Zenimax is bringing every year new content and there are a lot events within the game you can join. Its great to play alone or with friends or also with strangers you can meet in the game. :)

1 or 2 times per year its possible to play the game free and if you like it I recomment to buy the base game with the DLC together. Take a good look at the description at the different versions on Steam, but it says clearly what in which version is included and what not.

Good points :

  • Beautiful for a MMORPG

  • More The Elder Scrolls lore

  • Bosses are god tier

  • You can meet Sheogorath

  • Only TESO have the most charismatic Khajiit ever : Razum-Dar

  • The main quests on each different places are great ( better than the main in my opinion )

Bad points :

  • Updates = 75% of my 700 hours

  • Can lag easily if there are to much persons in the same place ( like in events )

  • Bosses are god tier

  • The EUW server is often down

  • You can’t marry Razum-Dar

  • All the players looks the same, character customisation is a meh/20

Dungeons & Dragons Online®

Introduction;

I have spent many hours on this game over the years, and even though it may feel a little antiquated now, it is still one of the best RPG’s that I have played in a very long time.

It feels like a true RPG, and a true adaptation of the AD&D Rule Set that true AD&D gamers are familiar with. There is none of that level scaling crap in this game which has become a trend recently. It is all leveled content.

This is one of the few games which I install every time I have to do a re-install of Steam for what ever reason.

Real player with 2656.1 hrs in game

I have been playing this game for years and only recently started playing it through steam. I would say my actual hours are probably closer to 2000. this is a huge, well established MMO with tons of content. if you like customized builds, look no further. you have the ability to create your character from the ground up. you choose where every ability, skill, feat and enhancement point goes, and you can even multiclass. ever wondered how an Archer Monk Wizard would fare in combat? Now you can find out.
