Bungie are constantly forcing their woke agenda in to the game, they will clamp down hard on anyone who disagrees with their woke agenda. They also charge you for content then take it out of the game. This is not a free to play game, its just free to start. The game is a rip off. Do not buy DLC, it will only get taken away

Allods Online

I played this game since 2009 but I want to keep my review short and positive as possible. This review is intended for the “free to play” version. I want to help you decide yourself if this game is for you. Mark with check if you can do the things on the list…

If you’re a paying gamer, this is your list:

  • Spending $1,000 upto (just an estimate of $10,000)? (to win PvPs/to gear up endgame)* if your answer from the question above is yes, can you spare another $5 to $20 a week for buffs and pots needed if you have no time do dailies and grinding for gold?

The Russian MMORPG Allods Online has a very bad reputation. It is one of these games, that get’s titled as a WOW-Clone. The phrase WoW-Clone is nowadays being used quite inflationary, but at least visually that claim does seem reasonable. The graphics are very reminiscent of World of Warcraft, I would say even more than Runes of Magic. Yet, the visual presentation fits the game well. The reason for the bad reputation of the game is the fact, that at the late game Allods gets to be one of the most Pay 2 win MMO’s of them all. Allods was from the start designed as a f2p game, which means an item shop was always part of the concept. Since the game’s launch in 2010 the situation worsened with every year. At one point in time, there presumably was an item in the cash shop, which was mandatory to deactive the negative status effect of dying. The best armor and other items can easily be bought in the cash shop, while all other players have to grind for a long, long time. The reason why I still recommend the game at least to an extent, is the PVE. More to this aspect later on.

This is my 50 hrs review of the the game, and i will continue to update it as the game moves on.

Lets break this game down into a few components all scores are subjective according to the games i like and play:

1)Difficulty. 9/10 If you have trouble getting started, or feel like you are running around in circles, reach out and we can help. Survival is in the name so expect it to be hard. Very easy to recover health once you are geared up making you almost invulnerable so docking a point for that.

Sphere 3: Rage of the Devastator

Sphere 3: Rage of the Devastator

This game ain’t for everyone.

If you like mmos that shower you with loot, xp, fast progress and stuff like that - go away.

This game is HARD man!

It still needs some polish overall, but it’s passable (at least for me). If you visit official forum and check for posts about game flaws, you will find that some of them are fixed atm.

Altough kinda inactive forum-wise, devs haven’t abandoned game. Each holiday is covered with some event, and most recent update got the new dungeon to the game.

Game has probably best action combat you will find in gaming. While in Tera / Neverwinter and many other action combat based games, certain skills root you while casting them, here in Sphere 3 you cast and run at the same time. Very welcome change indeed. It’s almost as in Wildstar, well… it kinda IS like Wildstar just more “free” in terms of mobility.

Disclaimer:

I have only played the game up to lvl 14 as Necromancer on Immertel.

[Will Revisit Review at lvl 20 and 40(if I last that long)]

Population:

Large Russian community, very few English speakers.

Gameplay:

The game isn’t tab target, and the cursor seems to lock on super easy with some skills and not so much with others, like some skills veer to the right or left when casting at time. Lucky hits and misses at times. Does feel like a step up from tab target games but not full on immersive combat, because of the skill upgrade system you tend to stick to a handful of skills–at least outside of pvp. Grinding is alright, would love to see more gear dropping(any I mean). It seems like only upgrade scrolls, junk loot, and item recipes pop up.

the game graphics are really great

The game is fun. The Graphics are nice. You can remap your keys and there are a lot of setting for the graphics. Just one question. where are the maps? I can only play one map, the tank map. In your game video it shows more than one map. There are some menu bugs. Also I find the run speed a little slow it would help to pick up the games pace if the run speed is faster. There is also too much recoil on the guns. But all and all the game is pretty good. I would recommend this game to others but not just yet. Hopefully these issues will be addressed. For the price it is worth it if it becomes more polished.

It’s like DayZ mixed with Vanilla WoW. When a player dies, they don’t lose their character which is awesome, giving the game an RPG-feel which many survival games fail to give. Having different unique classes, experience points, skill points and talents also makes this game a bit different from other survival games that I’ve played. Still… bullets hurt and even the highest level players are not invincible gods.

Pros:

  • The game is difficult to the point of frustration at times, making the game hardcore as hell.

I’ve just picked this game up and I’d like to give it a honest review.

To be honest, when I first launched the game, I wasn’t expecting much, given it’s an indie with a very small $14.99 price tag. And boy was I wrong! Considering I am a big Metro / S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan, from the first moments of gameplay, I felt right at home.

Firstl of all, as someone who’s been to the Ukraine before, I immediately admired the authenticity of post-Soviet era surroundings.

Gameplay felt good and graphics were pretty. Well, almost pretty. The character models and animations looked pretty crappy and unpolished and character creation seemed pretty bad. However, given this game is in its Alpha state, I have good hopes for the developers to introduce better models, animations and a more feature-rich character creator.

HPRZ: The Syndrome

HPRZ: The Syndrome

HPRZ mentions the end of the apocalypse for some time, where it is necessary to resist in the world devastated by a deadly syndrome, which quickly mirrored the human race. Parallel to the disease, a war breaks out among humanity’s last immune survivors, in a dispute over scarce territories and resources.

THE GAME

{STEAM_APP_IMAGE} /extras/line.png [/]

Explore in an open world with * 64 km², with rural areas, factories, military bases and several other points of interest, contained in farms, villages, cities and connected by tracks and roads.

To survive the syndrome and war, players will have to develop basic survival technologies, such as culinary, pharmaceuticals, clothing, and weaponry from items collected in public areas now transformed into war zones.

{STEAM_APP_IMAGE} /extras/line.png [/]

Differentiated sandbox experience in exploring the HPRZ world, through realistic graphics provided by Unreal Engine, with plains, mountains, edens and also dark and possibly inhospitable places.

Base building system never seen in survival games, extremely intuitive with a logic similar to the real world. And against a magnificent work, there will always be a big explosion through a spectacular invasion, with explosives.

{STEAM_APP_IMAGE} /extras/vehicles.png [/]

{STEAM_APP_IMAGE} /extras/line.png [/]

Equipping a vehicle with armor and a war weapon in the body will be incredible. Much more than a simple vehicle for exploration, but a real “war machine” modified and prepared for combat.

{STEAM_APP_IMAGE} /extras/line.png [/]

Wide variety of customizable weapons for all tastes, as well as accessories and explosives that will not let the war end. Based on an innovative group formation system, which will provide absolutely tactical and dynamic battles.

HPRZ is being developed by gamers from the community itself, and fans of games of the survival genre. Therefore, we will always be aiming for a balance between logic and reality, where success in the evolution of the game will be based on dedication and a spirit of survival, as ideal for our players.

EverQuest II

EverQuest II

I’ve been playing everquest 2 since 2011.

If I could rate the game out of 10 it would be 6. I love Everquest 2 very dearly, it will always be in my heart. Everytime I try to find a different game to play I always come back to Everqeust 2. There are a lot of good and bad things about the game. I gave a 6/10 because there are many issues with Everquest 2 that need to be addressed by the devs and haven’t been. I cannot ignore that despite my deep love for this classic game.

Some of the bad stuff;

Real player with 4705.8 hrs in game

Ah Everquest, my first true MMO love; even tho I was a consistent Ultima Online player until 1999 when EQ graced my screen. The EQ universe was my home for the next 6 years, shared only with what I consider another great MMO, Dark Age of Camelot. It wasn’t until 2005 and I peeled myself away from those games to embark on a new journey in Everquest 2.

I will admit, the first couple of years were very hard on EQ2. The steep computer requirements, the very hard game-play and the rise of a much lighter MMO in World of Warcraft created a challenging future for Everquest 2. Yet, the game persisted; made changes and continued to grow its content until now; it is probably of the largest if not the biggest MMO (content wise) out there today.

What have I done with my life?

Once upon a time, Rift was a wonderful game, a great ‘classic’ MMO that had meaningful content, good raids and dungeons and was really worth investing the time into. Then Trion Worlds started bleeding money on failed project after failed project and Rifts Dev team got axed down hard. To try and compensate things went F2P and things were fine at first. Hey we get nifty new costumes and I don’t need to pay a sub fee anymore (I still did, even if the original patron perks were pretty bad by recent standards.)

Disclamer: even though it says i spent 331 hours on the game, most of my game time was spent outside of Steam. My real game time spans over thousands of hours.

I have been playing Rift on and off since the headstart of the original game in 2011. Back then it was my #2 most favorite game (only beaten by WoW because i was addicted to that game) and even though it no longer holds that place, i still really enjoy what the game brings to the table. It is one of the only MMOs still around that allows the player to build their own playstyle by combining skills and talents into a unique class. It’s something i always admired about Rift.
