Mighty Party

Mighty Party

So long story short: Stay as far away as you can. All the devs care for is quick ways to grab money. The recent “fixes” all did one thing- they made the game harder and impossible for anyone not spending a fortune (and I’m talking 5 digits here) in the long term. You will have some early success and than you will hit a brick wall, that gets higher and higher and higher.

When I started the game, it was already pay to win, but in a fair kind of way. You had lots of activities to participate in- sure without spending reaching the top is nearly impossible, but you could enjoy the game.

DO NOT PLAY THE STEAM VERSION!

If you want to play the game, do so on the Kongregate website. (I am not discussing the P2W aspect here).

I have 2 accounts, Steam and Kongregate, I started both on the same day, both are Rank 45 and League 13, I have spent equal ammount of money on both. The ammount of rewards, events and deals the Kongregate account gets compared to the Steam account is ridiculous!

The Kongregate Account got 4 days ago the “incredible summon” event, buy 10 chests and you get a legendary chest (containing best cards in game) for free, today again the same event. The Steam account didn’t get such an event at all.

TL;DR

All things considered, I would call this an above-average example of the Idle-RPG genre with everything being at least standard if not a step or two better and it has the bonus of being the rarer sci-fi flavor instead of the over-done generic fantasy setup.

First up, it’s a “Gacha” game ported from mobile, so you can expect the usual microtransactions and ‘gambling-like’ tricks. A lot of them are absurdly priced, but there are a few more like ‘battle-pass’ or monthly subscriptions with reasonable enough returns to tempt the more thrifty-minded, not to mention a lot of periodic events that give extra rewards for buying and using the premium currency.

As a casual gacha this is actually a great game. You can be done with your dailies in under an hour then check back one or twice to do map exploration and collect resources or update your production queues. It doesn’t control your time.

Graphics are also actually really good, the girls are pretty in a simple way, AND you can even customize their look with face sliders (for the higher tier ones) and fashion. Overall, it has a lot of great features on top of the usual gacha game features – one of the best I’ve played in look, feel, features, and story.

After careful consideration, and 1500 hours so far into this game, I feel that I am more than prepared to write a review. I AM NOT A PAID ADVERTISEMENT, I JUST LOVE THE GAME

Pros:

  • If you played this as a kid, it is the exact same. It has some expansions, and added gameplay, but overall it is still the same base game that I played as a kid.

  • The game gives plenty of content and you could be stuck playing it for hours.

  • Compared to most games the community here is pretty chill.

  • There are many side attractions from the base gameplay (pets, houses, fishing, etc.) that are pretty fun if you get into them.

Before my review i would like to explain some things…

This game is P2P, If you buy monthly subs you will get all access to areas. This is the only payment you have to do here. Like big games such as Ultima Online, WoW etc. This is also have subs.

This game isnt P2W. In PvP Arena items are only get by arena points which you will only get from making PvP.

In PvE, your crowns will just waste. Because there is some item schedule as far as i remember like;

at 60 you will get your class set from Waterworks

This game allows people to cheat , multiple accounts by certain players. I have seen a player have 2 if not 3 avatars at the table at once , and they keep getting away with it . People passing chips and getting paid on face book for it for instance, people selling 500 billion for like 100 dollars , but in game purchase you get 11 billion for 100 , people using in game hacks etc….. on and on . Do not waste your time or money on this scum bag Doo Doo game.

It’s an online poker game. If you like poker, then give it a shot.

Customizeable avatars, weekly events, career rankings, poker tour challenges, and a couple other features that other poker games don’t have.

Purchasing chips is optional, you can make due if you play safe, and you can get free chip gifts from friends, hourly from the main menu, and by completing different challenges.

UPDATE Being an addict and having a lot of hopium I carried on playing.

With the new update its just shown how far out they are when it comes to their own game.

You have very scarce currency in game gated behind a timed mechanic that allows you to very slowly level your personal tree which is a very important part of your progress. Its the only mechanic that is server side so you cannot cheat (like you can with gems)

After the update, rather than making a new currency to progress the warfront you are now forced to either use your scarce coins there or on personal tree, there is no where near enough coins to do both, for example past a certain level in the tree you’re looking at a few days worth for 1 upgrade.

Original review at 380-ish hours “played”

Started out with some clicking, and after a few resets I found that clicking didn’t really outperform the idle heroes. Now the game sits muted on secondary monitor, occasionally telling me to buy upgrades or start new missions. Aside from not completing daily quests (finish X amount of timer missions, kill X amount of bosses, ram X amount of precious materials down your pet monster’s throat, and such) there’s no real loss of progress from ignoring the game all day.

After playing for a few months now and nearly 2000 hours, the game itself is very good, however they have CA which moderate the game and most do not understand their own official rules, which if you try to ask them about the rules, they get very crabby and decide to try to bully you aswell, so lets start with a few Pros and Cons!

Repeatedly asking/begging for any in-game currency/items - is not NO Begging.

Pros:

  • Game has lots of mini-games to offer.

  • Can build Casinos and decorate them

  • Can earn the Cash shop currency just playing

CasinoRPG wears a mask that makes it look like it’s a good game until you dig a little deeper and you’ll find out it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The Moderators, as has been mentioned before in other reviews, have no guidelines and just do what they want. It’s offensive how they behave in global chat fairly frequently from showing bias toward players who are part of a clique to calling for an end to discussion simply because they don’t care for the subject regardless of how pleasant and polite the conversation is. They do respond orderly when called to a table where someone is being a racist prick or loudmouth jerk though. Don’t use borderline language by the way, these jokers think Casino games are fun for the whole family and little seven year old Amy should be able to saddle up to the poker table with eighty one year old Guss. Seriously, it’s crazy.
