Gude! Jump n Run
This simple 2D glowing cat game is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, no storyline, just shining cats illuminating the dark and finding butterflies.
The good- easy to play, simple mechanics, very enjoyable.
The bad- There aren’t that many levels in this game. You might get at max 6 hours out of the game, but you will smile the whole time.

Upon getting this game, I was confronted with an okay-ish platformer with a decent, if rough, control scheme.
Upon getting to the later levels of the game, I was confronted with ‘Com(m)ing soon’ for one of the levels. I assumed it was labeled such because I needed to collect the collectible butterflies (I was on 38/45 required at the time), but as it turns out, after collecting the butterflies? No, the level is still under construction.
This game has a single piece of music to its soundtrack, no sound effects, and frankly, is INCOMPLETE. While I could forgive the first two issues as being part of the game’s style and theme, the incompleteness means I can’t possibly recommend this. Nothing indicates that the game lacks all levels. There’s no warning on the store page, the game’s not in early access, so… what?

Eternal Cave Escape
It’s good but could have been great. It’s not as punishing as Getting over it or Jump King.
There are multiple mechanics that are all very well put together. There isn’t really any cheap deaths for this.
The game lacks depth and more advanced tech for the normal mode. But it’s a fun game even tho it can get a bit frustrating at times.

For one of those -Get through this new part or fall back in the level- Its pretty well done. The one thing that bothers me crazy is the corner bounces. If its a pickable ledge why would it make me bounce if I happen to land on the corner? It just feels unfair in a game where you either learn from mistakes and get gud or you quit. Setbacks from something you have no control over isnt fun.

! That Bastard Is Trying To Steal Our Gold !
Well, we can throw dynamite in this game. Usually throwing dynamite under your feet would be a stupid idea but hey, this is a video game. And yes, it gets boring after 5 minutes.
Beside that this a logical game with a bit of platforming where you need to gather all of the pot items (whatever that is) and get back to the entrance after that. You have a limited amount of dynamite that you need to use to detonate dark blue blocks in order to gather items or find a way back.
Not much more to write about this one, really.

This is a fairly austere looking indie puzzle platformer that requires you to collect bags of gold in a two-dimensional upright grid based playfield by jumping around and blasting obstacles with a finite amount of dynamite. This limited resource adds a strategy layer to an otherwise unexciting game.
The visuals are not what I would expect in this kind of game. I think the designer was trying for a puzzle game “feel” in a 2.5D action game aesthetic. The underground cavern background is nice, but the rectangular playfield is suspended in the air like a bunch of stacked blocks in an ant farm. It would look better If it was attached to the ground and background as if it was hewn out of the earth. It would look equally better if it was surrounded by a border like a browser-based puzzle game. Trying to do both (or neither - I honestly can’t tell) fails on many levels. The graphics are downright jarring.
