Finger Breaker
It’s a cool little game but you could get problems depending on what keyboard you have. With most keyboards you get ghosting which prevents you from pressing all buttons and completing the level.

50¢ is a steal. Fun concept and very well made. Fingers are broken, so I am using voice to text to write this review.

Ersatz is a reflex oriented platformer with a heavy emphasis on speedruns. It is not a particularly punishing game because it has an abundance of checkpoints. About 80 percent of the features like extra modes require you to speedrun certain parts to unlock. So you do need at least some level of competent reflexes to get the full experience. As you can see I dropped 24+ hours into the game and I still have things to do. There are 3 regular modes that change mechanics, journey mode, and infinite mode. If you like that kind of gameplay where you have to learn the layout of the level it has a lot of replay value. As far as music and aesthetic part go I absolutely love it. I think for some $9 may seem a lot of a speedrun game but the price is well justified with content.

Furfly
I like the aesthetic, but Furfly otherwise commits an unfortunate number of mistakes.
The main issues here tie in with Furfly’s rather strict time limits. While levels having strict time limits is not a bad thing in and of itself, the game doesn’t properly take this into account. Most notably, the positions of moving hazards are not reset upon death. As hazard positions don’t reset, it’s far too easy to run into a situation where you sail past a hazard on one attempt and on the next attempt you waste precious seconds waiting for that same hazard to move out of the way, which in turn causes you to run out of time before reaching the goal.

The art of this game is what grabbed me at first. Ported from the mobile platform? I don’t really notice it; well-designed and well-developed, although some improvements can be made: as soon as you die, the furfly (or maybe Black Lum ) respawns correctly, but boxes, rocks, saws etc. don’t get their initial position most of the time, which makes it easier, but sometimes difficultier; taking into account the time pressure, it’s annoying sometimes.

BAFF
Avoid this game if you have a short temper with difficult games, because this game will really test your patience to the very limit. Don’t know what kept me going, I must admit, that I somehow felt challenged, but it’s not a game i want to go through again.

end of 2019 edit: a new game mode has been added, so I edited the review a bit.
have you ever wondered what it’d be like to play tetris on a seesaw? well, tetris without tetris shapes, but the same general idea of dropping blocks and creating matches. and all this in an 80s neon-inspired setting with fitting music. well, that’s what tiltit offers. that, and a city being built in the background based on your performance, which is a really neat idea.

Freerunners
Freerunners is a game about giving the feeling of freerunning (Parkour). Finding a flow and an underlying rhythm of movement as you traverse through your environment in the quickest time possible.
Start off a total noob and become a skilled pro, learning new moves along the way. Vault, climb, jump, duck, swing, flip, slide, do what it takes to travel as fast as possible whilst using your environment to outwit the enemy henchmen who have kidnapped your freerunning teacher and are hunting you down.
Be Fast, Be Fluid, Be Direct!
Key Features:
-
50 Fast-paced Levels - Think quick and solve problems on the move in fast-paced action-packed levels.
-
Use Your Environment - Outwit evil henchmen using the environment and your freerunning skills.
-
Fail, Retry, Refine - You’re going to fail a bunch as you find your flow but refine your timing and technique and watch as you improve and flow more seamlessly through your environment.
-
Learn New Freerunning Moves - Progressing from a total noob to a freerunning badass. No better way to learn than by jumping in the deep end… and by deep end I mean being hunted by the henchmen of an evil organisation.
-
Look The Part, Unlock New Outfits - Gotta look the part. You can wear good running shoes or flip-flops if you are feeling adventurous.
-
Speedrunner-friendly - Be fast, be fluid, be direct and complete levels in the fastest time possible, well suited to speedrunning.
-
Full Controller Support - Can be played with a keyboard/mouse but has also been designed with full controller support.
The Lost Marble
This game is really fun, just feels really good to play. It’s highly centered around speedrunning, when you start trying to beat the levels as fast as possible then it really shines. Plus its got a level editor so that’s pretty neat.

Simple platformer, but good. There’s a decent amount of weight and momentum to your movement that makes the movement feel satisfying.
