Geometry Arena
I’ll break this game up into a few sections. Those sections will be gameplay, proggression, and then specifics like graphics and sound design.
First off, the gameplay is pretty good for this title. I’ve played dozens of roguelikes from Hades to Nova Drift, and this game is up there in the quality of its mechanical execution. It’s not groundbreaking, as Nova Drift is a more polished experience overall, but this game compensates with its higher overall variety. That’s because this game incorporates 3 different systems for shaking up the gameplay - colors, roles, and skills.

Minimalist Space War
It’s a good game for a good price. It made me feel very nostalgic! It starts off easy, than gets progressively harder. Just what you’d expect in a space shooter game. Recommended!

I liked a lot this geometric space shooter game. It slowly progress to more challenging levels letting you understand new weapons and power ups. I recommend, its fun and relaxing at the same time!

Solid Aether
Simple but aesthetic.
But need more optimizations (not really big problem but particles are not optimized I think.)

tl;dr - If you’re even mildly interested in the genre and you like the aesthetic, this game is 100% worth your time.
Fantastic bullet hell game. The bullet patterns are creative and beautiful, and are complemented by the music so well. This game is art condensed into a bullet hell game. Bosses in particular have some of the coolest bullet patterns I’ve ever seen in this genre, being both fun to learn and gorgeous to look at.
It is both difficult yet forgiving. It’s easy to die, but the game gives you so many lives that it’s not hard to beat the game on your first try. Yet you’ll want to come back to see if you can improve your personal best.

RATTUS
Follow my Steam Curator page for more reviews https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35705466
Rattus is a pretty good Bullet Hell considering it’s priced only at 0.79 Euro. It runs well without crashes, takes up only 17 MB of storage and even has steam achievements.
Unlike other similar games here you don’t fire at the enemies, instead you summon meteors which fall from top to bottom, meaning you can get hit by them, which adds to the challenge.
My only complaint is that there aren’t that many enemy types- so far I’ve only seen three.

Soundodger 2
Already I can see how much work has been put into this game- and it is a major step up from the flash version. It works amazingly, plays good, and most importantly: shows some very promising music. I recommend you check this out, and play through it.
I’m so excited to see the future of this game.

basically Soundodger+ but with a few very good changes:
-
it’s way smoother
-
additional tiny animations
-
3 new cool bullets
-
more cool options for the bullet object
-
10 different layers instead of one
-
prefabs
-
bpm snap
-
literally seven new effects
-
cool backgrounds and large theme creativity
-
player settings (which is cool for challenges)
-
overall less limits
and I like all of these additions!

SPLIT BULLET
I will leave this review, only because there is something wrong with this game right now.
I have beaten first 2 challenges with 100% when i bought this game and now i tried this game again, i noticed something, all challenges are somehow broken and you can’t beat them, you fail everytime even though you don’t get hit and it always end with 90.00%. You can play 1 minute or 2 minutes, always 90.00% and score get stuck at 1000 points, you can see it when it flashes over 1000 but right away goes back to 1000.

very addicting and want to beat all achievement but it’s too hard to get at the top with it. and not so sure if it’s a bug or it is a gimmick but the score wouldn’t go higher than 1000 even not finish the level yet and sure we all did a higher score than what it said on the board

The Un-BEATable Game
Dear (hopeful) Future Player,
This is The Un-BEATable game, a pretty challenging game that I dare you to try to beat.
In this bullet hell done right, you are not meant to only dodge the bullets ad Infinitum, rather you are meant to grab the bullets, or in this case notes, that are being shot at you, to then absorb to shoot back onto the enemies. will be tasked to grab the notes shot by the enemies and grab them to shoot them back at your enemies. And did I mention that the notes shot at you are the actual notes of the music playing in the background? Forget about enemies throwing a screen full of notes for no apparent reason!
War Tank combat
I really liked this game, the mechanics work very well, I recommend it.

100 vacas
This game totally worth every penny.
It’s minimalist at all its sections: graphics, colors, ost, mechanics and duration.
But its playability is awesome, I really enjoyed it and has a well though-out level design. Nice ost too.
And when you finish it you want to improve and keep playing it.

I love this game to pieces. Old retro style story, fun and hard gameplay, you should definitely give it a try!

Pixel Galaxy
This game is ridiculously fun and bursting with creativity. I’ve never even played a bullet hell game before this one and I love it! The local co-op is also really fun to play and it lets you laugh at your ridiculous deaths with your friends! It’s got a bit of a difficulty spike but there are many modes to play and I still think it’s fun even when I do suck at it. It’s a great game whether you’re playing casually or seriously. The soundtrack is amazing, the graphics are sleek and colorful, and the gameplay is interesting, simple to learn, and challenging without being too frustrating. The ton of achievements also add a lot of humor and replay value to this game.

TLDR: One-screen endless wave survival bullet hell in which you collect pixels and evade others. Hard to tell which is which aas they are not consistently color coded. Game balance is iffy.
The problem with Pixel Galaxy is that it only does one thing and it does not do that one thing all that well. Collecting power ups makes your ship larger and thus easier to hit since your hitbox grows so large and the pixel patterns can be too tight together to avoid.
