Another Warfare

Another Warfare

This game has great effects, particles and all.

Enemies are standard.

Mechanics are good by themselves.

But level design is really bad.

Levels look alike, which makes you don’t like the visuals.

besides last 2-3 level they are not challenging in any way and this makes mechanics useless too

But in the end It’s not boring or anything. It is 175MB you can just buy&download&try in no time.

In Another Warfare time moves only when you move, like in SUPER HOT. But now, in a 2D environment

I had a lot of fun playing through the whole game. It’s a short experience, fair for the price offered.

The level design really impressed me. You can really grasp the mechanics and different enemy types just by the levels themselves, learning as you progress. I never found myself stuck in a level that felt too difficult and were never bored by a level that felt too slow or easy.

Raid on the Zone

Raid on the Zone

Been playing this a couple of times now, and I’m very fond of it being so close to the original Raid on Bungeling Bay, even though it has been enhanced with more intelligent AI, which also makes it a bigger challenge. I haven’t beaten it yet, but I’m going to! Lots of good gameplay and replayability. Recommending this for everyone who likes to shoot stuff and have fun!

I really enjoyed this game as it resembles the old Raid on Bungeling Bay, which I have enjyoed a lot as a kid. The game is hard but loads of fun! :) Highly recommended for anyone with a trigger finger.

REVIEW

Thunder Wolves provides simplistic and explosive action in a familiar arcade style that will have you piloting combat-equipped helicopters across sandbox maps with the objective of blowing up whatever gets in your way. As an arcade game, the focus is on the action; and so: the controls are simple, the storyline elements are minimal, and the overall depth of the game falls somewhere between “puddle” and “kiddie-pool.” But it’s all good. Because it’s fun as hell. Anyone who is looking for some wild, mindless action should give Thunder Wolves strong consideration.

Thunder Wolves

Thunder Wolves is a fun lite hearted arcade flight shooter. For a dollar am surprised that his game delivers a lot of content.

For being a hearted arcady game from the early 2000s this was a pretty enjoyable experience.

Released on Steam back in 2013 by the publisher HandyGames and developed by Most Wanted Entertainment.

I really enjoy the hectic and chaotic arcade-style gameplay.

Vertical Strike Endless Challenge

Vertical Strike Endless Challenge

TLDR: Worth a couple bucks to fly around and shoot guns and missiles. Not very realistic, limited content.

This is a fun arcade-type flight sim game. Emphasis on arcade- there’s a lot of clunkiness and issues and overall doesn’t feel as realistic as say the old HAWX or Ace Combat games were (Even though those weren’t as realistic as REAL flight sim games). If you’ve never played a flight sim game before, this may be a good first choice since the controls are very simple and easy to use.

It’s fun to just boot up the game and roll out raining hell on planes or ships; it’s quick to get into the action and they don’t lug you down with so much customization that it becomes burdensome.

My controller scheme is so messed up its not even funny, and coming from a casual Battlefield background makes this a lot more challenging since the only experience I have with flying aircraft “realistically” was in ArmA2/3, but that was done with KB/M which gave me a lot more options for control customization and whatnot, whereas in BF4 where I played on a PS3 using a controller, everything was incredibly casual, and even then I haven’t played BF4 IN AGES, NOR AM I GOOD IN AIRCRAFT TO BEGIN WITH.

Metal Golem: First Contact

I’m having plenty of fun with it. It’s a solid little arena shooter.

I do have a few small gripes. No crosshair is a little rough. The fact that your mech remains in the last direction it MOVED vs where you point the camera. So you shoot off screen sometimes. Neither of those are bad, as you get used to where your shooting and if you just TAP forward your mech instantly faces the right way. So small, SMALL complaints that didn’t actually prevent me from enjoying myself.

I look forward to more of the game, and I hope this dev gets some support to grow. Could be awesome one day.

The owner, who is also the only developer can’t do anything by him self and over 60% of the game is just a FPS template he bought, everything he has added is broken or stolen assets that he didn’t create himself

the game is broken everywhere you look and all the owner dose is ask for money to “fix” it, the games hit box’s for players are so broken it’s indescribable and he doesn’t seem to care at all, there is no real ADS (just a dot on the screen) and the very clunky moment makes the game enjoyable and almost unplayable.

I like the idea of the project. I want it to do well, but in it’s current state… there isn’t much to do. I messed around with it a bit but single player is the only real thing you can do at the moment without getting an organized group to play. I feel like this should gotten more development time before it was released. I can see the passion about this project, but there isn’t much to show for it at the moment in my own opinion. I say play for it bit just to mess around, but I say come back later when there is more content and it is fully developed.

Aircraft Evolution

Aircraft Evolution

Control a plane that flies towards your pointer, drops bombs and fires missiles so you can wipe out hordes of enemies.

Its a close one here, the controls work fine, its quite neat getting new planes and upgrading them, and the variety of bombs and missions is pretty solid.

but it feels a lot like a mobile game that had microtransactions and wasnt balanced quite correctly when it was ported back to PC. Things go at a fair clip through the first part of the game, but around chapter 2 the difficulty ramps up faster than your money does and you end up in a sort of grind, particularly because even with the best plane in the game your bombs never do that much damage and there are a lot of enemies.

Aircraft Evolution is a casual indie sidescrolling shooter that follows in the footsteps of the 1987 classic Wings of Fury. In my opinion fans of WOF game most likely wont be disapointed acquiring Aircraft Evolution as it does a great job at it. The gameplay of Aircraft Evolution is pretty much about bombing the living hell out of the enemies of differnt eras of the history of airplanes and fending off attacking airplanes in different missions while upgrading and buying new planes. In the current early access build the plane is controlled with the mouse and 3 keyboard keys (z,repair -x,fuel-space,speed) and its rather simple to master. The graphics are hand-drawn and really nice to behold. I bought the game for 3.99 euros and feel i got great value for the money. I’ll rate the game 8/10.

Battle Command

Battle Command

Before 1990, if you wanted to control an assault tank you either had to sign up to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, or settle for the basic side-on or top-down computer graphics of the day.

Then there was Battle Command.

The game sees you take command of a futuristic assault tank, dropped by Helicarrier right into the middle of the action on the battlefield. While many other 3D efforts of the time resulted in confusing wireframes or framerates measured in spf instead of fps, Battle Command’s fully-filled polygons were a breath of fresh air… until that air was filled with the acrid smoke from the burning wrecks of enemy buildings and vehicles!

With multiple camera views allowing the player to sit in the belly of the beast or to see the action from a third-person perspective – a real innovation at the time – this much-loved ‘command’ game focused more on outright fighting that the strategic elements of similar titles. Yet it was not all simply ready-aim-fire; the player still has to equip the most suitable ammunition to satisfactorily complete each one of the exciting and varied missions.

According to the original box art:

_Set in the near future of an alternative reality, Battle Command is an arcade/strategy game in which the player controls a single ‘Mauler’ Assault Tank in one of sixteen scenarios in the ultra-war, fought between two dominant races in the New World. The latest phase of this north/south war has been going on for over ten years with a stalemate eventually developing – a stand-off between armies massed over a long dug-in battle front.

Such are the defensive capabilities of each side, full scale assaults are suicidal, so any offensive moves are, by necessity, small behind-the-lines actions performed by elite troops in specially designed vehicles. The Mauler is the latest such machine – capable of being lifted in and out of hostile territory by fast stealth choppers and armed with the most advanced weaponry the northern sides can devise.
