Operation Deep Magic: Cryptanalysis
Operation Deep Magic is a detail-oriented, decryption simulator for learning how to break codes. Very good trainer. It’s defintely much easier to follow along the concise steps in this simulator than to study articles and textbooks.
I like:
-
real code breaking experience and practices
-
automatic math explanations for my analytical work
-
puzzles that are super hard and also very easy
-
all puzzles are real-life communication, math, and computer problems
-
real, NSA-approved encryption that is adopted internationally

Let me start off by saying that this is probably one of the most deeply technical games on Steam. The cryptanalysis techniques utilized in this are actual, real-life techniques used in academic cryptography and spy alike.
How do I know this? I’m a cryptographer. :)
By playing this game and learning how these techniques work, you will gain an understanding of how these attacks are performed. If you’re not familiar with the basics of cryptography, this game is likely too difficult for you, but there’s no better time to start than right now,

GO-4-Soldier-1
I managed to finish this game in about 3.5 hours. It is a fun little, turn based puzzle game with an African bush theme. Challenging to get right the first time, but with a few retries per level I was able to do quite well and learned what I needed to do.
What I liked about:
-
Cheeky soldiers and humour.
-
Table top setting of the game ‘board’ - feels like a live action table top :)
What I didnt like:
- Sometimes the camera snapping wouldn’t snap to the active unit and I’d move the wrong unit in the wrong direction

MechDefender - Tower Defense
Cool little ‘tower defense’ game.
Loved the difficulty, but if you going to master some earlier levels without upgrades, you may become too tough for later ones. It may ruin a challenge.
Upgrade system is a bit too intricate. But maybe it’s just me.
Always a pleasure to find a “gem of a game” of it’s price category.
Definitely recommended.

So I got this game because my visa card wasn’t working on some other site so I went to the last page in the specials and got this for 75 cents to test my card. My card worked!
Fun game. Standard tower defence, little glitchy, crashes a bit, (might be on me for not upgrading my 2070 super) no option to turn sound or music down, either muted or full volume. The red thingy you’re defending and be picked up and moved by enemies and they drop I when they die. Really tests your gamer skill having to charge your set up on the fly. something something i only wrote this review cuz i thought it was funny how i got it what ever who cares gg

Gameplay
The gameplay loop is akin to a linear visual novel full of arbitrary timers. Although expected for the genre, NT4’s timers don’t add to the experience and the game often gives nothing else to do while they progress, making these moments feel more like a waiting room than a game. It doesn’t help that NT4 doesn’t expand or capitalise on the concepts other competitors have achieved and implemented to greater success.
NT4 boils down to repeating the same steps ad nauseam in hopes of finding the single intended path, robbing players of creative out-of-the-box thinking and joy of exploration. The lack of indications of wrong/correct approaches often leads to confusion and frustration, culminating in relief rather than excitement upon finally progressing.

UPDATE and changed the THUMB
I’ve looked nearly 26-28 hours into the game and tried out and experienced a lot by now,
This game has a very nice and surprising nice approach compared to earlier titles of this kind, while I dont know all, but most of. From browsergames to uplink hacknet and so on. The concept is right but there are serious issues with some things.
-bug : I encountered a bug where initial assets for a mission seems to infinite loading and did not recover from that progress. However after ESC and retry or restart the client they usually work asap then. Either there is a content skipping mechanism on retry or it just went into a waiting loop and did not detect the ready state before.

Escape from Tatris
This game is unironically better than Escape From Tarkov, the game it is inspired by. This game has fixed 100s of the glitches of original tarkov. Hackers? Basically none, I seriously would pay money equivalent to the EOD edition. It has a great inventory system. Of course it has very little items, but of course this is for balance. After playing for only 14 minutes I have experienced only positive things. Those minutes were pure bliss. My only problem with this game is that it is free, if the developer were to add a donation box I would surely do so.

The combination of two russian classics definitely add up to an experience no gamer should miss. the innovative gameplay and groundbreaking mechanics create a game that has perfected the fine balance of uniqueness and originality with simplicity and overall fun, an impressive feat for how different this title is from other mainstream AAA games. While the game itself is captivating and will have you playing for hours on end, this doesnt subtract from the other aspects such as the stunning visuals and graphics and absolutely gorgeous soundtrack. The game is a well rounded masterpiece that covers all the essential bases of a good game, while remaining unique and not being chained by traditional game design, as it riskily tries mechanics and aspects that humanity has never seen in a video game before. The most significant part however is the price: Escape From Tatris is free. For a piece of art so perfect that one could mistake it for on of Gods own creations, a price tag of 0 is really the cherry on top of this delicious cake of a videogame. Download Escape From Tatris now, and i can bet my own life that you will not regret it.

Mainframe Defenders
After playing this for 22 hours, I must say it has been one hell of a ride. Its a nostalgia trip back to XCOM without having to worry about cover but more on your current position. At the highest difficulty, the limits of your tactical prowess are tested to its limits. You need to shoot and advance/retreat at the same time constantly. Thankfully while this is a roguelike, for now, you can return to the main menu and retry again. Why go for the easy mission when you could strive for the harder ones and reward yourself for the hard work?

A great little tactics game with lots of style and a fair deal more depth than would first appear on the surface.
Its visuals are stellar, if you’re into the retro style, with plenty of very satisfying little animations and effects. The menus, explosions, and gunfire all look and feel amazing. Perhaps not as stylish as something like Cogmind, but definitely in the same wheelhouse.
The audio is fantastic, with really nice oldschool techno beats that feel straight out of synthwave cyberpunk fare, alongside unique sound effects for just about every gun and enemy in the game.

Lucky me gets the dubious honour of writing the first review for yet another construction kit template flip on Steam.
Medieval Wars is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, Phoenixxx Games. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio store and try to scam people into paying for someone else’s work on Steam. They have run asset flip scams half a dozen times, and this is no exception. It’s nothing but a cash grab.

Flying Soldiers
Do you like war games? We offer you something new. Discover our unique and funny squad of bird soldiers. They are at your command. Become the best strategist and lead them to victory. Enjoy this entertaining avian conflict!
Not everything is as it seems in this fun game, because these “flying soldiers” can hardly glide a few inches and they don’t exactly have the abilities to go into battle. So, it’s no surprise that, with squads made up of these “characters”, they wouldn’t be able to get themselves out of the mess they’re in. Their only hope lies in your tactical skills to help them advance.
Mini War - Three Kingdoms
More of a puzzle game, where you use weapon-named heroes to try and complete the objectives of each puzzle. Most of which require at least two play-thoughs of a puzzle. Those with some idea of Three Kingdom heroes may be able to associate weapons and heroes a bit easier. Recommend.
