PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist
Ah, Legend Of The Brofist. A game filled to the brim with controversy because of the person it’s based on. But, I am here to review the GAME. NOT PewDiePie. So if you’re mad at anything I say in this review… go take it somewhere that somebody cares. And get in line if you have any personal beef with me because of my opinions. A lot of people do, and you’re just another one to tack on to the list.
Gameplay: Legend Of The Brofist is a 2D platformer, with differing elements in certain stages, such as low-gravity, and even a 2D shooter style for one stage.

This game is absolutely nonsensical. I mean, maybe there’s some lovely tapestry of narrative in it, but if I have to go watch a youtube dude to figure it out, you haven’t told a good story. But you don’t play this for the story (dear god I hope you don’t, anyway). This game is a pretty open love letter to the 16-bit era slathered in a layer of surreality, and it actually plays damn well. Most levels basically spelled out their intent or were based on something I recalled from my younger days, and while I think one or two stages' gimmicks make their lack of checkpointing* irritating, only the rather-lengthy final boss really held me up for more than 15 minutes. It’s also got a bunch of difficulty settings in case you find it too simple/challenging, and after you beat the endboss you can play anything you’ve beaten on Hard on a one-hit kill, no powerup mode, should you be masochistic enough.

Montaro
Montaro is the best game i have ever played
The concept of the game is very realistic. These struggles are what doges go through on a daily basis. This game raises important awareness for those poor doggos who have it hard.
I can’t remember exactly when I bought Montaro, but it was the best decision I ever made. I saw the adorable shiba as the mascot, and saw it was only $0.99 and decided to try it out. I got all of the achevements within about three days of hardcore gameplay and passion. I’ve now got this game for at least eight of my friends so that they could enjoy it too.

This game is plagued with: utterly repetitive scenarios, unresponsive controls, no control at jump height, broken hitboxes, options with nothing but sound volume, etc, etc.
The whole game seems rushed, to drain a well known meme, as much as them can.
Don’t get me wrong, I really wanted to like my Montaro, but I just love him.
Even if we know all errors someone have, the true love will remain intact. We’re unable to understand love, there’s plenty of beauty inside it. You know, even if I spoke the language of angels, without love I would be nothing.

Nyan Cat: Lost In Space
Games are often judged under 3 categories: Story, Visual Graphics, and Soundtrack.
Nyan Cat takes all the cake, the table and the entire buffet.
The story involves around the creature, nyan cat, in search for what has been lost by travelling through different dimensions and facing danger. On the journey, nyan cat gets access to different magical artifacts that help nyan cat on the journey while collecting lactose and fighting off against the evil.
The visual graphics are just fantastic. Most modern games today such as CoD, Halo, etc, all have the same problem: THere is too much going on the screen that it makes it hard on what to focus, to finish the objective, etc. And the biggest problem of modern games: motion blur. It just makes a beautiful game in this muddy madness, it’s like your character or what not is always drunk and it’s about to collapse. Now take a look at nyan cat. The graphics are minimalistic, and nyan cat just contrasts against the background, making it very easy to see, and not just nyan cat, also the items and enemy, they are contrasted against the background. The HUD is also very simple and straight to the point.

Nyan Cat: Lost in Space is a casual game inspired by the Nyan Cat meme. In it, you play as the eponymous cat as he flies through space, collecting milk, cake, donuts and such. If I had to describe the gameplay, I’d say it’s an autoscrolling platformer; you can’t really make Nyan Cat go back, he always moves forward; your control is limited to jumps, though there’s two powerups that allow for a more directional control over the Y-axis. Your goal is simply to get as far as you can, and get as high a score as possible, while avoiding falling to the bottom of the screen, or hitting TNT, both of which end your game. There’s also a few hazards in the form of enemies like a dog, Tac Nayn (evil Nyan Cat) and UFOs.

Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad
This year was my freshman year at college. I was in a new environment, without any friends, studying a degree that was created last year. The success of the degree itself is largely uncertain, but it’s what I’m passionate about, so that’s gotta count for something -right?
The first couple weeks of college were dull and uneventful. I would wake up, shower, have breakfast, leave for my lectures. Cruise through the day, learning and working well. When I got home I would type my notes, have some food, and then work on any assignments -if there were no assignments due, I would watch some TV or jam something on Steam.

One of the greatest games i’ve ever played in my life, My father was lost during the war so I never had the chance to shower with him. Now that i’m 22 years old i’ve always felt as if something was missing in my life. This game has filled the void.
Edit: For those who are unaware, my goal is to hit 10,000 hours within the game, because then, by Gladwell’s standards I have mastered showering with my Dad.
Edit: We have hit the 7,000 hours mark, only 3,000 hours left! I started this journey roughly 10 months ago and I must say that I am very greatful to all of the support from the showering community, i’ve received some very kind motivation from many people. This has honestly been a life changing experience for me and again thank you everyone for following me on this path to enlightenment

Gun Done
This game suffers from the same problem as many little indie titles: a lack of effort put into the backend and menus. The main menu seems to be designed for mobile as it consists of only 3 buttons: 1) enable/disable sfx 2) enable/disable music 3) display the credits (not sure I’d want to creditted for such shoddy workmanship).
There’s no option to change the resolution of the window or option to enter fullscreen mode. Although fullscreen mode is available by pressing ALT + ENTER keys there’s no way of knowing that other than to be already aware of exisiting Windows shortcut keys and trying them out… Even then, fullscreen mode is broken. On my system entering fullscreen resulted in the whole screen turning white. However gameplay may rate is irrelevant at this point as just the title’s menu/backend issues are enough to warrant a negative review.

Gun Done is a cute little test of your reaction speed. It’s not much of anything else, though, and I have to say the novelty wore off somewhere in the space of an hour. There’s a ton of neat little pop culture characters to unlock, which was a great touch, even if the process of unlocking them is grindy and tedious. I also disliked how later stages of both modes of play required literal psychic ability rather than just a quick finger. It won’t hold your attention for long and I don’t think it’ll be anyone’s personal Game of the Year, but I will say that it is at least priced appropriately; I definitely had a dollar’s worth of fun. Updates so far have shown promise, and I hope that the developer continues work on this game.

Pandemos
A good way to discount the rage of this whole pandemic.
The game is interesting and very cartoonish, which left it with a very nostalgic style from my childhood and my drawings.

A very nice minimalist game with a great retro music and sound effects, the art is like some 8-bits early games. Protect the cells against the virus, that is what we are right now fighting for !

Shooting Stars!
For other game reviews, please follow us at What The Game?
With a creative twist on arcade shooters, Shooting Stars comes blasting its way into the room. This title takes a term intended for addressing fame and then turns it upside down to make it literal. In Shooting Stars, you come toting your laser shooting cat onto a battlefield where you will actually be shooting stars of today’s world culture.
Musicians, actors/actresses, and even beloved Y-Tube personalities are all on the shopping block in Shooting Stars. Of course, the names of those involved are changed for legal reasons, but they even come along with a little dialog to let you be even more assured they are parodies of people. It is very humorous and anyone who even slightly keeps up with that type of stuff will find a little joy in wondering who is next.

This is a great game if you know what to expect.
1. It’s an endless shooter. Yes you do get an “ending” but then it recycles the game and you keep playing forever. Basically you’re playing for a high score.
2. It’s not the most difficult game in the world. Yes the difficulty does go up with each new round of the game(after you beat it and you restart from the beginning) and eventually it gets quite hard simply from the number of projectiles on screen and how difficult it can be to see the red enemy projectiles.
