Calm Down, Stalin

Calm Down, Stalin

Lazy Review at the bottom

Gameplay

The goal in this game is to survive until the time limit. Your stress gradually rises, but is furthered by factors like flies, lamp flickers, and phone ringing. As your stress builds, your hands shake worse, thus making you more vulnerable to push the button. This progressively gets harder as the game continues

The button

The goal of the game is to survive, right? You automatically lose the game if you push the big red button on your desk, or let the clock reach 12. The clock quickly ticks towards 12, unless you hold your hand right above the button. This threat of war makes the clock go back to the 1.

FEMINAZI: The Triggering

FEMINAZI: The Triggering

Few video games in history have garnered as much critical praise and effusive adoration as Feminazi: The Triggering. When it came out in 2017 for the PC, Feminazi: The Triggering set a new standard for three-dimensional action and introduced gameplay mechanics that are still copied today. Though it has since appeared on the GameCube and the Wii Virtual Console, the new version for the PC marks the first time this classic has received a significant update. The completely overhauled visuals are the most striking improvement, and they infuse this 1-year-old game with a vibrant modern feel. The sharp motion controls and the video hint system are new additions that fit in well, but the real star is the original adventure. Though it shows its age, The quest is indeed a timeless one that is full of invigorating exploration, tricky puzzles, satisfying combat, memorable characters, and stirring music. Feminazi: The Triggering is a great way to experience this seminal adventure, and it’s a shining example of how old can be made new again.

**This is a satire parody of today' feminists and SJWs. If you take this game seriously or easily offended by it, then you are one of the people being made fun of.

Got this as a gift from a friend. Did show interest in this as well.**

(Nearly 40 people found my review offensive.)

Below the surface, unless you’re a comedian and bought this for entertainment for your LP channel, or are easily amused and can have a lot of fun with it, there’s not much to do after a few hours. You can make your very own gender, out of 20+ genders (including Mayo, Toaster, and Apache) with description and symbol too.

Grass Simulator

Grass Simulator

In its current state, this game is not worth getting. There are several modes, but not really anything to do in most. You’ll be lucky to squeeze 1-2 hours out of it. The multiplayer mode is useless, as there are never any lobbies open. You can create one, but no one is ever online to play. Additionally, the performance is poor. Alone on a multiplayer map with graphics on ‘Fastest’ I get marginally better FPS than Battlefield 3 with 64 players on Intel graphics. The guns feel and sound weak, though they are vastly improved from the single player guns. The controls can be painfully awkward and are not rebindable. To quit multiplayer I have to Alt+Tab and close it as I cannot find an option to return to the menu or quit the game. Finally, the Grass Simulating mode has the worst graphics of any mode, featuring 2D ‘sprites’ rather than 3D models of grass (this is most noticeable with the green silhouette of corn.)

Although this game was very entertaining and very fun to play for ten minutes, all in all, based upon the content, it’s a waste of money. It doesn’t cost much, no, but you do have better games for the same price to spend your money on.

Classic Mode:

Has no objective at all. You walk around in a reasonably small world filled with a single cabin, grass, fences, trees and cows with buggy heads. Shooting the cows makes them explode but once you’ve seen that once and you’ve giggled - do you want to see it again?

Countryballs: Over The World

Countryballs: Over The World

Would I recommend this game to anyone? Probably not

Do I care enough to leave a good review? Probably.

Do not buy unless you have spare change, this game will just be a waste of money otherwise, I only decided to give this a good review because it’s decent for the price (may or may not be worth full price)

There is very small replayability and the controls are slow and annoying. The game is filled to the brim with bugs, and the two bonus gamemodes have very little to offer, you’d be better off with a flash game or Scratch game lol

As much as I love countryballs - I think I follow at least 400 countryball pages on Facebook - this game is really something.. crappy.

The game uses only the basics of the Poland/Countryball meme world implemented into a stupid platformer which has unbelievable poor controls and overall offers nothing more than few levels.

Graphic-wise, it’s something really awful. Countryballs are of course drawn in MS Paint, but the whole game seems created in the ’90s on a floppy disk when we were 10 years old and used to mess around in Windows 95.

This is a reaction test of 8 levels where you are a special time for the 4 arrows to press and it get faster and faster and level 8 is really not easy if you are not good skill or if you already older (27 years + & your reaction isnt anymore like 21). For achievement hunters its a good game even i could get all :)

Polandball: Can into Space!

Polandball: Can into Space!

This game is… pretty good! As a fan of the comic series, I have to admit this game was very well-made. So, let’s go.

PROS

  • Very well made for being based on such an obscure comic series

  • Jokes and stereotypes are funny

  • Controls are easy to get used to

  • Upgrade and Part system is well-priced

  • Worth the money

  • Achievements are not too hard to get

CONS

  • Belgium’s AI

  • Ending should have had an ironic twist (involving Russia/USSRball)

  • Repetitive soundtrack (easily solveable by muting music)

Real player with 6.3 hrs in game

A fun, comical, charming game of skill, prediction and chance.

Guide Polandball to space, avoid other hassling countries and try not to be held back by the gravity of larger nations such as Russia, China and Canada.

Collect fuel to reach your dreams in the sky, eat burgers to keep your health up, and collect money so you can stop using kitchenware as a rocket.

Its not all struggle though, occationally netherland ball or sometimes a jamaica ball will help you get higher… in various ways.

For $3 or less its pretty well worth it. You will get more satisfaction out of this than you will the bag of chips you would otherwise buy.

Social Justice Warriors

Social Justice Warriors

Social Justice Warriors is a bit of a clunky game, not always clear to new players, and at times, blatantly unfair. So as a playable version of internet arguments, 10/10, extremely realistic. But there’s a whole lot more to this game than you can tell from screenshots and comments.

For starters, despite playing as an SJW and battling a variety of trolls, the game doesn’t pick a side as much as you’d think. Yes, the narration describes you as a valiant force of good against internet ne’er-do-wells, but it’s so over the top at times that it’s clearly not expecting to be taken completely seriously.

Real player with 16.0 hrs in game

The thing about this game is that they picked a very hot topic in the gaming community and had a humorous premise to go with. Social justice warriors, the infamous scourge of the internet gaming community, who have recently done their part to ruin everything as we used to know it.

Except, the problem is that in this game, the trolls exemplify one of the logical fallacies in the standard school of “logic”, which itself is used ad nauseam in the game, referred to as “No middle ground” It’s very clear that there is heavy bias painting the SJW as the hero, when the reality is (despite the disjointed and non-existent arguments presented by the trolls [caused by the game deciding the “troll’s” next moved based solely on a random number roll associated with a set of statements]) BOTH sides in the game are trolls, and some of the statements that were used for the troll side’s dialogue are actually reasonable, if not the outright truth. Even so, they don’t make any sense because they are random, so it’s not as if you are battling a “troll” that’s actually presenting a real argument.

What do you hear?? Yanny vs Laurel

What do you hear?? Yanny vs Laurel

You know that video that was making rounds on Facebook and other social media platforms? This is exactly what this is.

A looping Yanny/Laurel sound with a slider… That’s it. The whole game.

Ok guys I’m gonna go fast here ‘cos this game actually is composed of a single screen and on the other side I don’t even know how many months or so it will stay on the store and as far as I know reviews get removed too so..

I have to admit that I did not know anything before playing this shovelware for what regards Yanny and Laurel. I had to Google it and I found tons of Italian websites back from the beginning of 2018 talking about this crap.

Basically it seems that it’s a simple acoustic illusion - some people hear laurel and some people hear yanny, pronounced from an English speaker of course.
