Egg of Empire
when i first saw this game on steam i was with my friends and we thought the name was so funny we had to buy it we saw it would be coming out in 2 days so we had a sleepover waiting for the game to be released and we were not disappointed. this game is every thing i want in a indie game its funny has good game play and its fun to learn. when you get into to game it does not tell you how to play so it is trial and error and it feels rewarding like you did this. the only problems i had were i wish the select was not a on screen button and instead assigned to a key or mouse button, as well as the hit boxes might glitch out were every thing is no clip only happened once to me tho and with a quick restart it was back and since you can save it wasn’t a problem. but i only played for about a hour so idk how often or if it is a recurring thing at all over all 8/10 aslo if you dont want to do the trial and error type learning the creator made a Tutorial which i will link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln6YMH4Fdos&t=187s

Kingdom Wars: The Plague
It seriously needed a extra month or more just making tool tips and basic placements on maps right before EA ,and bear in mind it’s used a massive chunk of a previous game just to start with so it’s not a normal EA from the ground up
The devs say different but it’s pretty similar in play to MKW atm, so if you enjoyed that you’ll like this
Had a full game 30hrs+ and tbh I couldn’t face a replay
the repetition is just too much same units /same maps/ same annoying pre build for resources every single little battle despite the fact the actual battle will only last minutes

The Plague: Kingdom Wars is a very fun game that feels like someone took Medieval 2 TW and Stronghold and smashed them together. It is still early access and in Alpha stage but the potential this game has is staggering.
Gameplay is split between a strategic overworld map similar to TW where you move your armies around, conduct diplomacy and upgrade your various cities and hamlets. Battles switch you to an RTS like system similar again to TW but with the addition of being able to build units, buildings and defences to try and give yourself an edge or tip the balance against your opponent.

Evolution of War
Very short and stupid game with no progression what so ever. Good for playing one match maybe.

Gladiator of sparta
Tank controls are bad.
Do not have tank controls in your 1st of 3rd person fighting game.
This is AWFUL to play.

Conquest: Medieval Kingdoms
“Conquest: Medieval Kingdoms” is a turn-based 4X grand strategy game, played on a procedurally-generated strategic world map and you get to decide at the start of your game if it is made of a one large continent, few continents, large, islands, or small islands. Tactical battles are fought on tactical battlefields and are real-time, like Total War. Every world-map and battlefield is generated, so entirely unique, so this game will always have something new to throw at you.
I am extremely impressed by this game, especially since it is a one-man dev team. The dev uses Unity. I am playing on easy ( with only a few religions to start off with) to get a feel for the game. I restarted a few times in the first few minutes to get a reasonable starting position (with my back to an ocean and mountains), I am playing on the strategic map and I haven’t even bothered to dive down into the tactical battles YET as you can auto-resolve them (larger armies don’t always beat smaller ones on auto-resolve, even on Easy)! The game is a sandbox where you can do pretty much what you want to expand your kingdom into an empire. It has a principality, vassal, kingdom, empire and allies system. It has an economy of power, gold, food, wood and iron, as well as controlling trade routes. There are monthly turns, 12 months to a year, as well as seasons and weather (snow ground cover causes attrition). It is like a simplified version of Crusader Kings. If you like Medieval type games, you will like this. It literally just came out today, so there are a few bugs, but it is surprisingly bug free.

Took a while to get used to the game and battle system, but if you read the tutorial properly and get used to it, it is a great exciting game. one of those games you can easily lose track of.
Do love how you have to try make sure parts you take over to assymulate or they will come back to bite you
If you love stratagy games you will love this

Conquest!
For the type of game this is, it is well polished! I spend countless hours a day playing it and the community is nice and talkative too!
This is a game that you use up movement points for, then return in a little bit. Very strategic, lots of possiblities on what to do within the game, and a great balance on how long an “age” lasts. (ages are like seasons for other games)
There’s much more that i can say about this game than i can here, but I gave it a 4/5. The details are shown in my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vt-7MwCviQ&t=29s

Loving the game so far, very friendly and helpful developers in the discord as well. after playing the game for 20 hours or so, its a lot more in depth then the style would have you believe from the different classes and how they work, to the diverse amount of spells that can do anything from give you resources, reinforcements during fights, and just straight kill you. The game is definitely worth trying at least if you like strategy games.
