Graphics are not bad for a free to play game. It clean and sharp. It’s colourful. No ray tracing or gorgeous lighting effects so don’t expect much.
Audio sounds great, but some of it is missing. An example is there are no crossbow sounds.
The gameplay is repetitive very quickly. A good amount of levels to enjoy. You have a knife and a crossbow. Your goal is to make it out the other end of this dungeon crawler.**

I guess you could call this a dungeon crawler … if you’re being generous. It plays just like a wave shooter (with set pieces though), where you can use the saddest crossbow or a knife. You select one of 10 levels (once you beat a level the next one unlocks). You get stars … for your score killing & breaking everything). Teleport is the only locomotion, there is no snap or smooth turning.
This game is so bad that I won’t even do a video review for it or a Steam Curator review. I’d hate to bring this curse upon my channel. The only good thing I can say about the game is that I didn’t experience any bugs and it seemed to be running smoothly. Everything else was horrible.

Ironlights
sadly, there are too many issues with this game to recommend it.
the concept is alright, though i do think the weapons shattering while you’re blocking kinda defeats the entire point of blocking with a weapon
and even then, you’ll have some good games, you’ll meet a knight who swings properly, and damn near cuts you in half with his projectiles, a duelist who deftly parries and thrusts, a crusader who is close unpredictable with his master over the ball and chain, or a reaper like me, who blocks and seeks openings in your guard, forcing you to adapt quickly.

Ironlights is actually a pretty awesome game. For those who have looked up the steamcharts and fear the game is dead. Most of the players are on oculus and there’s crossplay. So those numbers can be misleading.
The game is probably the closest I’ve gotten to actual fencing in a vr game (It’s not super close, but it’s better than the other sword games I’ve tried). The game prevents the wiggle wand style of sword fighting which is awesome. The singleplayer ai is fairly competent as well, so there’s a lot of fun in that. There’s also a seemingly great community here as well.

Pub Simulator
Serve as many meals and drinks as you can to get the three star achievement. Challenges include chopping, pouring, cooking and multi-step orders. Additional modes for higher level gameplay.
Rain of Arrows
Good game , the arrow physics are top notch, graphics entertaining, and pacing is just about right for this kind of game. BUT, I would love it if you got rid of the obscuring flames on the end of the arrow, at least when you turn off player aim assist. Can’t see the target at all which makes it very hard to hit it. The one thing I like the most about bow and arrow games is judging the trajectory to hit the target, never want aim assist. The mechanic for bringing up the shield and paddle is inspired I think. Very quick and intuitive. Thanks for the fun.

This is a stand-still 360 archery wave shooter / “bullet or arrow hell” rogue-lite that is quasi on-rails. What I mean by that is that you’re basically on a raft that goes forward without your input in the water. However, you can paddle side to side to avoid obstacles. Meanwhile, you can dodge side to side to avoid enemy projectiles and you can even use a shield to protect you against some types of damage. I believe you have 3 deaths and you can get upgrades after beating a boss.

RPG Merchant
Runs great on Windows 10/Vive/GTX 970
A fun and casual game. Has endless mode so you could compete with your friends who come over to hang out.
Becomes repetitive soon, so you won’t be playing hours on end.

Fast paced and hectic, you need to give the customers their requested items, while looking out for a few badguys. Muggers come in and attempt to rob you – kill them quick! Thieves request an item, but then try to get away without paying for it – club them before they escape! The wanted person will act like a normal customer, buying and paying for an item, but if you knock them out instead of filling their request, you get a bonus.
There are plenty of items that they’ll request, and at least three qualities of each (standard, gilded, and enchanted) – so you’ll need to be on top of your game to ensure everyone gets what they wanted.

SACRALITH : The Archer’s Tale
I absolutely love this game! In fact, it would be my all-time favorite VR game if it weren’t for a few issues. The content is very replayable, because you will kill at least 150+ enemies by the end of each map! There is no new game +, unfortunately, but TRUST me, you will not care so much about all the little flaws due to the addiction you will develop when you shoot several enemies in the head or helmet at 100 yards!
- This game has really amazing graphics, but I feel as though the content is a little lacking (due to the lack of maintenance). New enemies could be introduced, more special arrow selections, co-op, upgraded bows, etc.

Pretty impressed with this game, given it was barely on my radar before release. It needs a few things worked out in patches, but if the problems listed below get addressed, this will be the most engaging VR archery game yet.
Pros:
-
Great graphics, body physics (really fun shooting guys off of a log bridge and watching them fly off.)
-
Smooth gameplay (at least in-game , which is where it counts)
-
Good gameplay mechanics - teleporting to strategic vantage points to protect various offensive fronts

Unknightly
please note that this current review is an edit to my original review, it will be quite long but its worth putting out there.
firstly when i first got this game i hated it, i wont lie about that because honesty is the best policy or at least thats what i have been raised to believe. anyways i left a rather hateful and scummy review saying that this game wasnt worth it even if it was literally given to me and looking back i realize i was a bit harsh in my words and judgement. i would like to thank Jake for contacting me and letting me know about the changes made to the game. there was a lot to look at and even with the time i accumulated (its not much but its enough for this purpose) i can now see that many changes were made for the better. there are alot of pros with this game that now allow me to change my negative review to a positive one, however there are still issues i would like to address with the game following the reasons i now find this game worth it.

Unknightly is a very solid stealth game so far. The team has been steadily adding features based on player requests and there’s plenty of fun to be had even in the first few available chapters. Peaking around corners and lurking in shadows just feels great in VR.
The enemies behave appropriately in different situations with guards becoming slightly suspicious if they only catch a glimpse of you or moving in if you’re fully visible and making too much noise. Other guards will also start hunting you if they’re near an alerted friend so you have to think quickly to limit the consequences of an ill-conceived approach. The variety of postures and communications from the guards combined with the clear visibility and noise meters support an observant and cautious play style.

Legendary Tales
A+ Game!!! Legendary tales, as it stands right now 11/28/21, is a fantastic game that is among the best VR games ive played so far, and I consider myself a veteran. It is essentially Diablo, which seems intentional down to the music in the town. Devs nailed it. The combat is tight, and fair, where if you pay attention you can parry attacks consistently, but if you get sloppy you quickly get punished. The magic, which is apparently being radically improved in the near future, is already SUPER fun. My wife and I play this game together endlessly, where she if often damaging/stunning/freezing hordes of enemies as I plunge in to fight dual wielding swords. I am absolutely STOKED for the future of this game, as they have cleartly laid out a massive plan for additional monsters, magic spells, levels, bosses, synergy magic system, items, skill and stat systems, and so much more.

Too expensive for it’s current state. Essentially 20 levels of the same 3 enemies and on the exact same style of dungeon map that take too long to kill and cannot be engaged in an enjoyable manner. The physics and mechanics of combat are just bad for now, with developers dedicated to asian style MMORPG elements (The bad ones) - involving relentless grind-based progression, in VR where you physically will struggle to sustain the requirements.
The best point in the games history was at release when there were abilities and weapons that could be abused to shift the balance in the players favor - making progression enjoyable. Since then the devs have relentlessly worked towards making the game more difficult and removing any exploits while ignoring the community’s actual requests. They have only focused on redundant balance fixes and the broken magic system since release - barely managing to address some serious bugs.
