War Solution - Casual Math Game
Hello Yaw Studios!
I don’t usually play math games, but I ended up giving this one a chance …
It was a great decision because the game is very beautiful and it also has a win-win relationship. I say this because when I’m playing the game in a few minutes I forget the mathematics because I have to worry about other things that are happening in the battle and without realizing it I improve my thinking agility and my knowledge.
Congratulations, looking forward to seeing the next shows!
Cheers.

In fact, a great game for an affordable price. There are many game modes! Particularly, the survivor and adventure modes were the ones I like most. If you are looking for an adventure game where you can learn Math in the journey, this is it. Strongly recommended!!!

Pestis
This is a really good game, the best game I ever bought on steam for less than 50 cents. The concept is awesome and executed very well with the atmosphere and the theme it all just sort of gets you into the mood of the game and collecting herbs to make and mix potions is just really fun and interesting and there is so many ways to go about how you play the game from saving everyone, killing everyone, killing rats and making bombs to destroy their nest healing your self with potions and eating shrooms to stave off the plague and death. Just all around a cool indie game that you can play on a potato pc or even a calculator and its so cheap and so affordable how can you not get this game? The steam achievements are easy to get and look cool to.

Pestis would be a decent high-score game if it had leaderboards and more maps. Right now it has 1 map and 6 relatively easy achievements, hardly any reason to play it for more than 30 minutes. I think the artwork and animation are decent for what it is. You play as a plague doctor that is trying to cure a small village, and the game certainly captures that sinister atmosphere. The gameplay incorporates the potion mixing mechanic, although the system is very basic. There is some potential for improving your resource management, but without leaderboards I don’t see the appeal. I think if the developer can add at least 2 more locations it would be serviceable (urban area and catacombs perhaps?). It has a partial support for controller despite not being listed on the store page. My F310 works fine, but you can’t rebind it from default state.

PRINCIPIA: Master of Science
Summary
A rather simple game with a huge potential. Overall, it is great now, but if the devs are able to improve on the concept by introducing more scientists, fields of science, and perhaps more locations/academies, it can become truly amazing.
What works
1. You can pick one of about a dozen scientists from the era of enlightenment, and guide him throughout his career. You choose what to concentrate on, you can study, attend lectures, conduct experiments, compose scientific papers and much more.

You can’t tell this is a outstanding game, but it is amazing. BGM, graphic, system especially this theme is rather KOEI than Paradox. It reminds me about my PSP and the mighty Daikoukai Jidai IV.
I really want to see dlc for this game like more scientists, more theory, more universities. I think there still be a lot of system improvement and details can be developed. Such as more countries can have different budgets to invite scientist or build better universities and labs; a interdisciplinary research systems; relationship between professors and students etc.

Castle Flipper
i had 9 games on my wish list for the last 6 months and finally one of them came out—Castle Flipper. I love House Flippers and have about 400 hours on it. My first thought was this would be similar, but after reading the numerous negative comments, I realized it wasn’t. There were also complaints that the quests were completed in 10-12 hours and that was also a turn off. However, the Devs responded and explained the concept of building a castle after the quests.
The game was listed for about $5 (i live in a lower priced Country) and after some thought, I decided to give it a try. After all, everyone has different tastes. Boy was I glad. The setting and music are beautiful. I started by completing a couple of tasks and then was told to build my house. It only required a 4X4 floor plan and took no time to build. Then there were 2 new tasks, one of them was to clean up a ship. While that sounded cool, I realized that was the problem those negative reviewers had. They rushed, rushed, rushed. For example, one player I won’t name gave it a bad review saying there was little to do except the quests that took just a few hours. Yet, this player took the time to make a You Tube video of him playing the game. I watched it to pick up some tips. He rushed, rushed, rushed to complete the quests. This isn’t real life where we live in the fast lane. Slow down. Take a breath and enjoy the game. There is no prize for finishing the game quickly. He even commented that it only cost $10 so not worth the time to ask for a refund. What? Not worth the time. It takes less than a minute to ask for a refund on Steam (I know, I’ve refunded over half my games because they were too difficult.) If someone’s one minute of time is worth more than 10 bucks, then I’m in the wrong business.

First off all, I love these kinds of games. Building and maintaining your own settlement is something I can spend many hours on. Saying that you would think I would recommend this game seeing the endgame is based all around that. But sadly I cannot. The idea is there, build your own castle and collect rent. But the way this has been implemented simply isn’t satisfying. The world feels empty and barren, nothing happens beside the occasional ‘clutter everywhere incidents’ that makes you run around all the houses n clean stuff up. The visuals are great but without life within the game you quickly lose the drive to do anything.

Archaid
This is a game about reaching a particular flow state that feels like it could be preparation for occult undertakings. I have not played very long and the game is very much in early access, but what I have played has felt like slowly deciphering an alien language. Gradually, over successive minutes, I began trying to maintain a model of a three dimensional chart of graphemes in my head. I really liked that tension of gradually being able to intuit what moves would work as I played, rather than just going through trial and error or depending entirely on the visual clues to work very slowly towards scoring combinations.

Gustav Vasa: Adventures in the Dales
The year is 1522 and the young nobleman Gustav Eriksson Vasa is reached by the news that his father has been murdered in the infamous bloodbath of Stockholm. Understanding that the Danish king Kristian the Tyrant now will hunt him down, Gustav goes on a dangerous journey through the Swedish Dales.
Danish soldiers are chasing Gustav who flees at high speed on skis, traversing the Swedish landscape of the Dales. Reaching village after village in search of help and support amongst the locals. The setting of the chase is beautiful wintery landscapes in 3D. The villages he visits are presented as a stunning 2D sidescrolling adventure that ties in the main storyline in between chase sequences.
This game was built by Ingeborg Asplund, Stanislav Hallberg, Natali Hallberg, Joakim Bengtsson and Gertrud Bondesson.
Features:
• 3D Chase Sequence:
Tense chase sequences on skis through a wintery Swedish landscape while hunted down by the Danish Soldiers firing arrows from their crossbows aiming to kill Gustav. These are challenging and require the player to take advantage of the landscape around them to avoid obstacles and incoming arrows.
• 2DSidescrolller story:
Follow the story about Gustav Vasa a Swedish nobleman on the quest to become king. The story is based on a real historical figure from Sweden and the myths that surround him. The story allows you to participate in key moments in the legend and story of Gustav Vasa, such as his legendary speech in Falun where he tries to convince the Dalesfolk to rally behind him and his final coronation in Stockholm.
• Distinct artwork:
Beautiful handpainted environments and characters in a distinctly stylized art style inspired by classic Swedish artwork from the Dales.

The scenario mode is quite fun, even with AI opponents. The trade mechanics is quite simple. But when you’re combining it with event cards from the scenario mode, it is becoming interesting.

This is fantastic! Initially I thought this game was only going to be for English learners and kids. But its actually a great point-and-click adventure game for anyone who enjoys that genre. I got it for my mother to play because she’s been trying to brush up on her English. But I very quickly found myself invested in the puzzles and story. If you’re looking for a good quality adventure game with some challenging scenarios then I can highly recommend it.

TheEvilKing
Thank you for showing interest in my game. This game is a text-based game with no visual graphics or pictures, made in python and closes by itself when you lose or win, it is a great time killer. This game will test how strong your ability to recall things is. You will be asked to go through different areas with making sure you don’t go into an area with the “Evil King”, where you will lose the game. Try to beat the time counter and get the quickest time too. It’s fun for all ages that know how to read and type.
