Renditions of the Awakening
In active development since 2016, this is a first-person strategy game about summoning demons and toppling a civilization one castle at a time in order to re-live the story of the man who already did that. Gain the trust of that man - your jailor - by embellishing the details if you wish but the one thing you must do is become the new king while taking no lives with your own hands.
Some demons are stealthy; others not so much. Summon an army, manage them well and control the flow of information across the battlefield to catch Keeps and Castles unawares or poorly defended. But beware, the summoning process compels them to follow you around but that’s all - they still retain their own fickle personalities and will quit your service in the worst way possible if ever they stop having enough fun.

Retro Clicker
The product is broken. After a while the program stopped working and then would never launch again. Attempted to contact the developer for fix but unable to. While looking for a contact found that the dev has, at time of writing, dumped 34 games onto the Steam store within 10 months (with more due to be released), most if not all of them looking like straight up asset flips.
Avoid this this developer like the plague.

Demons of Asteborg
Demons of Asteborg promised to be a “Metroidvania” kind of game and it delivers. While it still is pretty linear there’s some exploration in all stages. Also I love how you have to use your new abilities to beat each stage and bosses, giving it new mechanics on all of them. There’s a ton of variety here. This was originally a Mega Drive/Genesis game and this looks and sounds AMAZING, can say without doubt it is one of the best games ever made for the console and glad all people can play it in the og hardware and digital too.

Ok so, I really did like this game, it was really fun hacking your way through demons advancing levels, getting stronger as you go and the overall journey is great….but that ending….that ending was so abrupt, I got to the final level I didn’t even know I was at the final level, and when things just started to get really good, I was fighting the final boss, mind you again, I had no idea I was fighting the final boss…..this guy was a joke it only took me 3 tries to beat this guy, I had a much much much tougher time fighting the previous bosses, and when I finally finished him…..small dialogue and ROLL CREDITS….really? I mean really? (spoiler) you couldn’t put in a few more levels now that I achieved my demon form? come on such wasted potential….

PAGO FOREST: TOWER DEFENSE
**_“We need your reviews and comments on the Steam site.
Comments help us to reference our game to continue “PAGO FOREST”.
Thanks to your contributions, our license still exists! We’re counting on you! “_**
Story
Flora, a former leader of Nova’s army, is back in service. Still alive baal the necromancer contaminates the pago lands with his evil power. Flora’s mission is to build a large army and recover power artifacts to annihilate her enemies. In her quest she will need you! Are you up to the challenge?
Pago Forest worthy successor of The Dragon’s Vengeance (scenario) renews its gameplay. We are no longer in an educational game this time but in a real tower defense! The goal is to put the right characters or tower at the right time against the right enemies. For this you will need gold! a lot of gold! and courage of course… The game is composed of 5 acts, 26 missions that each have their trailer. Each act ends with a boss. Like its predecessor, the dialogues will be well garnished with jokes :) We will also find a mana bar for the spells delivered by the artefacts (beware some powers are only used once per level) The game is simple to understand but you will have to use strategy to finish it…
Temptation
Well.. for sure this game doesn’t start well from its menu, all written in broken English (with obvious spelling mistakes like “controlls”, “atack”, “demob” (instead of demon), “an” (and), plurals and singulars interchanged (“the demon have” etc.) and so on)..
The music is some kind of rock track taken from who knows where and nothing else, and the help section is quite a mess. You’ll get the basic keys, WASD to move, E assigned to “action” (obviously no remapping at all, and no controller support), shift to run and the left mouse button to attack, I mean.. “atack”.

Bad game
Too fast you do not know what you have to collect everything too confusing
Fun factor is also at zero.

Death Rattle - Hell Unleashed
A fun game, running around killing all sorts of things. Quite like the campaign. All sorts of different ways to interact with the world. Things popping up all around you. Keeps you on the move and on your feet.
Definitely worth a couple of bucks

I am really enjoying this game!
At first glance I thought that this game seems really cool. The graphics are stunning, the crossbow looks cool, and the voice overs of the guards are done really well (especially the Captain). The tutorial/ training bit in the start is short enough to not be annoying, but it still teaches you the game fairly well. Once you finish the tutorial, you are surprised by a group of monsters, and when they spawn the music changes which is really cool and captivating. I also like that you can destroy some of the structures and even trees!

Covenanted
Covenanted is a hand-drawn rogue-like with RPG elements and an original turn-based combat system
A contract with the devil is always a bad idea [/]
The heroine of Covenanted, bound by a contract with the Devil, is on a journey through the magical world. Pursued by the Inquisition and blackmailed by the Devil, she has to balance between light and darkness in order to gain the support of powerful allies and break the endless cycle of rebirth
Combat Alchemy [/]
The journey is full of dangers! As the game progresses, the witch collects recipes for unique potions and gathers ingredients to make her magic even more powerful. Each recipe has its own unique effect
Procedural generation [/]
The global map of Covenanted is generated for each session. The variety of locations, the number of opponents and the available rewards are selected in such a way that each race is different from the previous one
Visual style [/]
We pride ourselves on the visual style of the game. All the main elements were drawn with ink on paper and digitized. The world of Covenanted is growing, our artists are working on new characters and locations
Random events and story quests [/]
We want players to feel the impact of the decisions made in story quests throughout the game. Despite one true ending, the fate of the Covenanted side heroes remains in the hands of the player
Fairy Middle Ages [/]
When creating the world, we were inspired by the worlds of the fantasy genre, world folklore, myths and legends. In Covenanted, elves and werewolves live in the same world with the characters of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales and ancient myths
Divilixa
It’s free, give it a shot! However, there are so many alternatives in this genre that are well established titles and also free or next to free that I would give Divilixa a lot longer in development before committing serious time to it.
Some feedback:
-
Make it so that the player can just hold the left mouse button down to attack instead of clicking over and over
-
Take a little time to edit the models so that there isn’t a white background to the player character and enemies (it looks like everything was drawn on Post-It notes, scanned, and uploaded into the game)

Kingdom Rush Vengeance - Tower Defense
Perhaps Kingdom Rush Vengeance is good when considered in a vacuum, but since I don’t live in a vacuum I can’t recommend it. The Kingdom Rush tower defense games are generally excellent, but in my opinion this is the worst of the bunch. Since the other games are nearly identical, I recommend playing an earlier Kingdom Rush game instead.
The main difference with Kingdom Rush Vengeance is that stars you earn don’t mean anything. In earlier Kingdom Rush games, the better you do, the more stars you earn, and beating the optional challenge modes gives even more stars, and stars are what you used to unlock upgrades. In Kingdom Rush Vengeance, you get the same number of upgrade points no matter how well you do, and beating the optional challenge modes does not give any additional upgrade points. That takes away most of the reason to try to get a top score or to beat the extra challenge modes.

Kingdom Rush Vengeance Review
TLDR: If you’ve played and enjoyed previous Kingdom Rush (KR) games in the past, then this is an easy recommend. As long as you’re ok with a few tweaks. If you’re new to the series, then Kingdom Rush Vengeance (KRV) is a solid, enjoyable tower defence game.
In this title, unlike the others, you play as the “bad-guys” lead by Vez’nan who was defeated at the end of the last game. The main game takes place across 16 maps in 3 different lands. An additional 9 maps are unlocked after completing the 16th level, 3 maps taking place in each land.

Vugluskr: Zombie Rampage
In this video I take a look at Vugluskr: Zombie Rampage, a third person zombie shooter.
Don’t get me wrong this is a very low quality game…. but…. I enjoyed it! It’s the level design that won me over. You need to activate these zip lines to complete the level and find the keys. Each zip line requires 15 crystals to activate so you need to play the levels cautiously so you have enough crystals to get out from where you put yourself. It’s quite fun.
Now for the low quality parts… pretty much all the rest. There is nothing (that I have encountered) that was game breaking apart from when I hit escape to try to find options for key bindings only to discover it just leaves the game if you do that. I had to start my video again. :( There’s no jumping, poor shooting animations/sound effects, poor menus, etc, but it was fun and that’s ultimately what it’s all about. So if you don’t mind games that look cheap but play well your in for a treat I think, a cheap one too at $5 USD. Anyway, take a look at the video to really see what it’s like.
