Good game if you are a fan of shootemups. Some skill is required in bullet hell games to get through this. The art and music are good as well. I like how it feels like you are descending into a forbidden place the further you go into the game giving this creepy feeling. It has a bit more of a forgiving life system then your typical bullet hell, even with the bullet counter to help you out even more. The game is a bit short and expects you to perfect the levels it has for points and other goodies. That said that is where the hentai comes in.

This game is such a bizarre combination of amazing, WTF and terrible, I have no idea what it’s going for, but it’s mesmerizing nonetheless.

The story is nonsensical - a mishmash of every pulp sci-fi idea out there! Amnesiac earth scientist on an alien planet, girls with giant… mechs, evil biomancer cult, visions of godesses… And none of it takes itself serious even for a second, with a wildly shifting tone and tense situations interrupted by dumb goofs.

The art is weird. Most of the time it’s a slightly amateurish replication of a mix between Another World and Shadow of the Beast with not-so-subtle sexual elements, but every now and again there are very cleanly drawn big-breasted anime girls that just don’t fit in at all.

This is a tough game to review. Over all, I don’t think I can recommend the game to most people at full retail price. Currently (at the time of writing), the game is on sale for a dollar and that’s an okay recommend just for the weirdness that’s involved and obvious creativity that went into the game, but at full price it’s not worth the cost of admission in my opinion.

A few issues to critique first. The polish and handling of the game on a controller is all over the place. The controls feel floaty and way too much momentum in flying sections, and glitchy in some of the exploration sections.

There are three good things about this game: boob physics, costume damage and optimization. Those minimum requirements are spot on, it’s hard to find a PC that won’t run it.

But the camera view is so disorienting during melee combat! Combat goes from slowish from afar to “what the hell is going on” when you’re close to the enemy. Maps feel really bland and generic. The gameplay itself only feels fun when you’re playing with larger teams. The menu interface keeps spinning around, which is very bad on the brain.

There is no manual camera control, but jumps around automatically from one enemy to the other as they die or as you move in and out of their range. The firing is interesting with the requirement to let go of the trigger to improve accuracy, but enemies respawn so quickly and combat occurs from such a far distance that I don’t really get a sense of satisfaction. The melee combat is fun to use while being able to be defended against, and I also like how the clothing damage appears on different places in different games, as opposed to just exposing the privates only every time. But even with these positives (along with the character selection), the negatives I mentioned make it so that I don’t really enjoy playing this game. I really gave it a chance.r
