Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
It’s not too often than I walk down the street and decide that my life plagued by the lack of indie hack and slashes in my life, but whenever I am Steam is there to save the day with a hanky, a knife, and a picture of a waifu.
In Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, a very SEO friendly name, you play as a Mitsurugi out to Kamui Hikae. Probably just means Blade Templar Maiden, haven’t the foggiest.
Your stages are all various flavours of circle and your combat is aiming to hack and slash with the best of them. Why, you’ve got your launchers, your forward and neutral ground combos, your alt combo and your weird katana meter that dictates how much katana you can katana. That can be upgraded to 9 separate full magic bars.

It’s a fun game. Really fun in my opinion. It’s a stylish arena hack and slash game. If you’re a fan of stuff like anime, you’ll probably think the combat is awesome. You slash up enemies with your sword at hyper-fast speeds and as you sheathe your sword, they all fall down, instantly dead. It’s pretty cool.
The graphics aren’t anything mind-blowing, but it looks pretty good and gets the job done. Honestly, it could have been all stick figure people and the game would hold up just as well. The real strength of the game is in mastering the combat. The main character, Misa, and her nemesis, Suzuka, both look well animated. Many reviews/comments seem extremely focused on the fact that you get glimpses of panties, but the combat is so fast paced that I’ve never really noticed. The enemies all look kinda bland, besides the bosses. They are mostly just robot businessmen (I guess…) with a few different colored suits. I suppose the giant robot enemies look kinda cool, too.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos
This one might be a little extensive but I liked it enough to complete the whole thing so I might as well write my thoughts..
This is a pretty decent hack & slash game, I spent about 60 hours of gameplay in total completing it casually and then going for every unlock and achievement. I wouldn’t consider it one of the best or the most difficult but something about mastering the combo chains for every character and fiddling with the extensive customization options kept it interesting. I might even keep playing it past that point and try for personal challenge runs.
! and maybe playing with the customizations more..

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is a hack and slash game where you chop up minions of the underworld…. with scantily clad ladies. Okay not all are scantily clad, but half of the casts are, unless you dress up the other half in similar outfits. Anyway, in this game, you will use your blades or other weapons to dismember, chop, bifuricate, decapitate zombies, werewolfs, gargoyles etc. You get to play as four women, with Aya and Saki making another appearance from their previous Onechanbara games (not on PC), as the representative of a Vampire branch clan called the Baneful, and the newcomers Kagura and Saaya that represents the Vampire clans. Aya and Kagura are the matured women shown on the game cover, providing the role of the big sister, also known as onee-chan (hence the game title), while Saaya and Saki are the younger sisters aka imouto.

The Red Moon
Gamplay
The Red Moon features hack and slash like gameplay, fighting your way through the difficult dungeons and boss battles.
With house upgrades you can further the experience, with such things like Farming, Intimate moments with your spouse, Bathing together and more to come!
This game is quite harsh when it comes to saving, as you can only save once per day, and retry with a fee of gold, so make sure to upgrade your equipment to prepare
for the battles to come!

Our protagonist, Shiro and his friends are trapped in a past mistake made in their younger days, You and your friends must avenge the destroyed town of Inishigari and save the newly founded village of Mizunara, which has had reported sightings of The Red Moon, meaning total destruction was soon to come. Can you and your Childhood friends stop the cursed Red Moon and save Mizunara Village?
Characters
Shiro
The Leader of the group, and main protagonist of the story.

The Warrior of the group. He is quite a bit stubborn, however, the most confidence to take action in dire situations.
Ryo
The Thief of the group, Stubborn and childish, but the fastest attacker in our group.
Saya
Our mage. he is very confident in his abilities and can read ancient scriptures.
Hana
The Archer of the group. She may be a bit shy, but she is an excellent archer and a great teammate to have.
Gameplay Features
Throughout the game you can do activities such as;
Farming
After heading to the Upgrade Store, you can purchase the basement upgrade, allowing you to plant crops down there. These crops will give small amounts of HP on consumption
Marriage
There are several marriageable patrons throughout the town, mainly residing in the Inn. Build your relationship each day and get married and have a future together.
Intimate Moments With Your Spouse
When married you and your spouse may have a few Intimate Moments in the bedroom, Of course you can’t do this all the time, however when the time is right you will know.
House Upgrades
In town, there is a store for House Upgrades, Going in here and purchasing one of the many upgrades will add new additions to your home. They will take a few days depending on which upgrade, but the end result is always worth it.
Mining and Gathering
Throughout the Dungeons you may find certain things you can hit with your sword to gather, such as Vines or Petals. Not all of these things will give you items of course but if you know where to look they will benefit you greatly.
And more to come throughout the early access period!
Bayonetta
Good ass game. SUCH responsive controls. If there are more games out there with such smooth and responsive combat, I’d like to know which ones! I wish the cutscenes were easier to skip, but that is my ONLY complaint.

嗜血印 Bloody Spell
Bloody Spell is basically a Chinese version of the Dark Souls series, where everything hits hard, and you have to rely on your dodging skills, recognizing attack patterns, blocking if needed and doing tons of hit and runs onto bosses or mobs in order to survive. To be honest, I never played a Dark Soul game, but after seeing Aris aka AvoidingthePuddle’s stream, I bought this game because of one thing; not the Dark Soul experience, but the T & A. That’s right, I bought it because apparently you can change your gender to a female, and you have a ridiculously risque outfit for your character.

Ok, this game is friggin' awesome!
pros:
Awesome combat
Varied enemies
Random levels
workshop support
cool unlockables
awesome spells
a feeling of progression that few games manage to deliver
challenging combat, obstacles, etc.
Awesome boss design.
Cons:
Confusing story due to poor translations (Maybe if you speak chinese it would make more sense to you)
Some poor design elements can be frustrating (like how you can only upgrade your equipment in the tomb if you find a specific character and have specific items)

Action Taimanin
After having played this for a while, I can now write an extensive review for it. I rate a gacha game based on numerous core aspects. To start off with, here is where Action Taimanin ranks in the Gacha element games that I play daily (I’ve played just about all gacha games, the ones not on the list were deemed unworthy down the line):
1. Destiny Child
2. Girls Book Maker (DMM)
3. Deep One (DMM)
4. Kamihime Project
5. Azur Lane
6. Project QT
–— 7. Action Taimanin —–
8. DOA VV
9. Flower Knight Girl

I love the Taimanin series, and was very excited when I heard this game was coming out. I’ve been playing since day 1 of global launch, and I have to say, I’m honestly beyond disappointed with it. The only good thing to come out of this game is seeing hawt Taimanin girls in a 3D environment. One can only hope that the dumpster fire that is this game doesn’t ruin the Tamanin franchise for any people who first get introduced to it through this game. Now, on to why I hate it, even though I keep playing it lol.

SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal
Overall, this is the best Senran Kagura game, but with a few caveats.
Senran Kagura: Burst Re:Newal is a complete remake of Senran Kagura: Burst which was a side-scrolling beat ‘em up on Nintendo 3DS and the first game in the Senran Kagura series. The story is the same but everything else was rebuilt from the ground up. If you’re new to the series I recommend starting here. Being the latest entry, Burst Re:Newal has by far the best graphics and gameplay out of all mainline Senran Kagura games, and the story takes you all the way to the beginning and does a very good job of introducing the setting and characters.

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal
What if Tekken was all about boob physics?
Preclaimer
- This isn’t a game with fanservice. This is fanservice using it’s disguise as a game as excuse to be in your Steam library. Yes, I make this a valid point to know.
Chronology
Yes, big busted lewd ninjas come with a story somewhat continuing throughout the main games of the series. If you care about understanding the later ones, you should know the prior ones.
All side games though are spinoffs not really needing any knowledge, but they basically play after the main series.

SENRAN KAGURA SHINOVI VERSUS
If not for this game, I would never have given Senran Kagura another chance after watching the anime adaptation’s first episode.
A great game by musou game standards (A single overpowered character batting aside hundreds of weaker foes).
While there are some downsides to the game, it’s easily my second favourite title of the genre after the Dynasty Warriors spinoff, Samurai Warriors. Battles are fast paced and at some times challenging; the 22 playable characters all manage to feel distinct even though the combo maps only differ a little for the most part; the soundtrack is really, REALLY good!
– Real player with 58.5 hrs in game
Don’t think of this series as just a vehicle for sexy characters. As much as the aesthetic and vibe of the sexy anime schoolgirls, every other aspect of the game is given close attention and is high quality. The soundtrack is gigantic and full of extremely catchy and intricate hard rock tunes. The sheer amount of voice actors and how many lines they all recorded is massive. The controls and battle mechanics are ridiculously fluid and fun. The story is voluminous.
The good:
Fighting through the levels can become more like a dance given all of the choices you get for how to slice and dice your enemies. You can launch them in the air and follow up with a mid-air combo, you can instead work through big groups with ground combos or use special attacks which are saved up for by getting more combo hits.

SMASHING THE BATTLE
Hour 1: A few first impressions from ground zero:
Pretty great, actually. I was sort of expecting a button masher, but the combat mechanics are in fact well developed. You got your dodges, invincibility frames, special attacks and situational skills, different modes that increase your damage output for a decrease in defense. Good stuff here. The AI is a bit brain dead so far but it’s not like I’ve played very far into it yet. The challenge modes seem pretty brutal though, and there are a lot of them, which I appreciate.

TLDR; Buy this game 50% off if you want a weird little spectacle fighter with anime girls and some interesting yet basic combo cancels. Don’t buy this game if you like to 100% your games while still feeling good.
This was a weird for for me. The story is pointless, don’t play for the story. I read through it all and it’s boring as all hell, the Start button skips the cutscenes so become acquainted with it. This purchase is gonna be solely for the gameplay. At first, it’s a harmless enough spectacle fighter. Cheaply made on Unity, which the initial loading screen lets you know, but there are some neat features. Your ability to cancel dodges and attacks into other abilities make for a fun experiment because of the jank. An example would be using the first character’s main combo, rolling just before the combo ends, then using the dodge attack at the end of a roll to extend my reach and start whaling on another hoard. It’s hard to put into words, but the way the character breaks her animations makes you feel like you’re doing something you shouldn’t be able to do. If you plan to kill some time for a bit playing this just to experience a new spectacle fighter, then that’s fine. This game is worth it if you get it at least 50% off.

My First Senran Kagura game. I had way more fun than I expected. Simple yet satisfying combat with tons of cute girls and fan service. It’s meant to be played by shutting your brain off and just enjoying the game for what it is.
