Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
It’s not too often than I walk down the street and decide that my life plagued by the lack of indie hack and slashes in my life, but whenever I am Steam is there to save the day with a hanky, a knife, and a picture of a waifu.
In Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, a very SEO friendly name, you play as a Mitsurugi out to Kamui Hikae. Probably just means Blade Templar Maiden, haven’t the foggiest.
Your stages are all various flavours of circle and your combat is aiming to hack and slash with the best of them. Why, you’ve got your launchers, your forward and neutral ground combos, your alt combo and your weird katana meter that dictates how much katana you can katana. That can be upgraded to 9 separate full magic bars.

It’s a fun game. Really fun in my opinion. It’s a stylish arena hack and slash game. If you’re a fan of stuff like anime, you’ll probably think the combat is awesome. You slash up enemies with your sword at hyper-fast speeds and as you sheathe your sword, they all fall down, instantly dead. It’s pretty cool.
The graphics aren’t anything mind-blowing, but it looks pretty good and gets the job done. Honestly, it could have been all stick figure people and the game would hold up just as well. The real strength of the game is in mastering the combat. The main character, Misa, and her nemesis, Suzuka, both look well animated. Many reviews/comments seem extremely focused on the fact that you get glimpses of panties, but the combat is so fast paced that I’ve never really noticed. The enemies all look kinda bland, besides the bosses. They are mostly just robot businessmen (I guess…) with a few different colored suits. I suppose the giant robot enemies look kinda cool, too.

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round: Core Fighters
I love this game, but I’m not going to recommend it without severe reservations. The base is an excellent fighter, but the port is worse than the console versions in so many ways. Many of those ways concern the online multiplayer part of the game though, so if you’ve got a bunch of friends in your area to play this with they might not be so much of an issue.
I’m going to split this in two sections; the base game and the platform comparison. Scroll down if you want to read in what ways it’s worse (and better) than the PS4 version.

This is a difficult game for me to review.
In general, I fucking love the Dead or Alive games.
The fighting engine was classically fast and skillful without requiring knowledge of enjoyment-obliterating exploits or skin peelingly long sessions of practice to get to a basic level of gameplay.
Though it will historically be known as the series that boldly upheld the grand tradition of cheesecake and beefcake heavy character designs, the actual fighting system of advantage and reversal is much deeper in scope than nearly all of its peers, and spreading out the lengthy character movesets across less buttons means its easier for an unpracticed player picking up the controls for the first time to feel like they’re accomplishing something beyond just marveling at the various buff studly men and hot sassy ladies.

Pretty Girls Panic!
This game is awesome, full stop.
It reminded me a lot of a free Flash game that I used to play for months on Kongregate, and it had similar mechanisms.
Apart from the “sexual” content of the girls (loved all the artwork, even the most irrealistic ones xD), your goal will be to guide your small pink octopus in every single level; you move with WASD or the directional keys and you have to divide the screen into smaller screens, avoiding the stars (like, Staryu) and other enemies in later levels while also collecting powerups that will appear inside the game screen.

Pretty Girls Panic! is a casual puzzle game that has you moving a cute octopus while underwater. The screen begins with water and you must use your drawing tool to draw from one edge to another to remove parts of the water and slowly expose a girl. It is an anime girl who always speaks to you in Japanese while Japanese music is also playing.
While drawing a red line to expose bits and pieces of the girl there are sea creatures trying to prevent you from exposing the girl. Different types of sea creatures have different moves and different attack methods. Starfish move in a pattern, blowfish begin to chase you when you draw, and crabs move only along the borders of the water. Some sea creatures also shoot at you. When sea creatures hit the red line of the drawing tool you lose a life. You can draw a section to uncover it, but if a sea creature is inside it by the time you complete that section the sea creature dies, earning you bonus points. You can keep track of the percentage of the girl you have drawn: you must draw at least 75% of the girl to fully expose the girl. The game will remind those familiar with a famous Taito game called Qix, a game that requires you to draw a rectangle to fence off the majority (75%) of the playfield. Draw a very large section of the water and you can earn a large capture bonus.

Fight Angel Special Edition
I am glad I was able to get this for free. I think I’d be pretty upset if I had already bought the original game then had to pay for this too. It is an exact copy of the original except for two things. The faces look more anime style and there is a dance session thing once you beat the game’s story mode. I actually prefer the art style of the original game over the special edition one, but I can understand how others might like the anime style more. The graphics seem a bit better. No new clothing items or characters as of yet. I was sort of hoping for at least a small amount of new stuff. Many of the things I mentioned in the original game still apply here. Overall a terrific game that has smooth controls. If you are looking for a tactical fighting game, something in the realm of MK or Street Fighter, then this is not the place for that. There are some fighting forms much better than others and all the ultimate attacks are a one button push. This doesnt bother me, because I didnt buy the game thinking it would be an amazing fighting game. I got it for a couple other reasons, hopefully I dont need to explain. I love the customization detail level in this and I hope we see more clothing items, and wishful thinking on fixing the clipping issues with clothing items and hair. Also I like the camera control thing at the end of a match so you can look around at your character after your victory and/or down at your fallen opponent. It kinda sucks I have to unlock all the clothing items and hair all over again. Still cant type in the letter “i” when naming characters. Great game and hopefully will see more content soon.

To start I didn’t own the previous edition of the game. I found this game randomly but I must say despite a few minor (mostly audio) bugs I was surprised how this game plays.
The gameplay is very similar to older Street Fighter games so I was more than happy about that. The gameplay is mostly smooth and it is very little to no input lag. The game also does feature Online PVP even tho the column with the tags on the Steam Store does not say so. Overall well made fighter game by an indie studio that’s worth the price.

Have you ever just wanted to have a lady that takes care of you when things go wrong? A lady that cares about you and your feelings, and will never let you go? Well, if so, then this is the game for you! The protagonist of this game caresses you just in the right way so that you will never want to turn back from her. How many Russian games are there on Steam?! I’m starting to think that half of my games are Russian.. xD
I don’t know how to judge this 1€ thing.
LSD should mean “look so delicious” in the developer’s words (he meant “looks” maybe?).
There are 73 achievements: none of them are gaming related.
They will unlock by pressing the required key. From A to Z, the numbers, F11 and F12 and so on. I was somehow astonished by this thing, I mean, I have played lots of games with random achievements but literally none of them are related to the game..

this game is bad for a many reasons. no pause timer, no gallery, only 2 girls, timer is too quick, not worth the price. you also only have one mistake and when that happens it all resets. so unless you’re quick on looking its better just to look at the screenshots.

Night Jackal
A fun arcade game. It kind of reminds me of the old Spy Hunter arcade game which was my favourite arcade game back in the late eighties. The retro and fuzzy retro graphics are fun but wish the text was more clear, as I can’t read some of it as it is.

As the reviewer that has spent the most time with Night Jackal thus far, it’s bonkers.
The game is full of nostalgic charm, yet still manages to feel fresh and intuitive.
It’s a little bit like Spyhunter from another viewpoint, (Probably closest to the Spyhunter for the Tapwave Zodiac that nobody played but me). It’s got some fantastic Duke Nukem style one-liners like “I’m gonna sh*t on your entire family”. Everything about the game just oozes personality.
Gameplay is fast and twitchy too, you need to adapt to different situations like oil slicks, traffic, and enemy vehicles that not only attack you in different ways, but are also impervious to certain attacks.
