Kingdoms Of Marazia: Classic

Kingdoms Of Marazia: Classic

This game is a lot like ironfell, with hex based combat and building in one open world. Right now, there’s not too much to the game, but the develepor is active, communicates with the community, and puts out a lot of updates. If you liked Ironfell at all you should buy this game and try it out for yourself.

Worth checking out for sure, as I have yet to find anything quite like it.

The game features a persistant world where players battle it out for resources and eventual victory over the course of days/weeks. It uses basic rts elements and expands upon the strategy through time, space, and player interaction.

It is also being constantly updated, and upgraded and there is a good chance if you think a feature is missing it will be added soon.

Highly recommend checking it out for some slower paced and social rts gaming, similar to a more drawn out risk experience in a lot of ways. If you decide to give it a try, join the discord and start plotting your rise to power.

MUST READ BEFORE YOU PLAY:

There are a few things i think people should know about before playing this game.I bought kingdom wars before it was a f2p game and have had two maxed out citys with high lvl hero’s and have spent money on the game beyond just buying it pre f2p.This is my honest review about what i know of the game.

BUGS! Be prepared to lose resorces for winning pvp matches. That’s right you lose for winning! If a person trys to fight you and you accept and then he pays you to flee battle you get a win and maybe a little gold from the payout BUT you will lose 5k food 5k wood and 5k stone from your towns resorce stash which varries depending on what your stash has in it but that was my last loss to this bug. Not only do you lose for winning a pvp match in this manner you don’t recieve the crowns for the win that you are supposed to get for winning. The only way to avoid this bug is to fight until the game tells you you won or lost.

Dawn of Fantasy: Kingdom Wars

Update: 4 years later - This game is still fun but you definitely need a friend. The playerbase is extremely low leaving much to be desired on the PvP and COOP aspects. You can still solo the online campaign but it won’t ne as enjoyable. It also helps a ton if you are the same faction as your friend. This allows you to group up MUCH easier as you have to share the same army str. My original review still stand, I just edited some mistakes from a less educated me.

Hello! Let me start by saying this. I wanted a game that I could command large masses of troops to attack strongholds. After searching EVERYWHERE I found this. This game exactly fit my needs! Now I am going to let aside my desire for games like this for the rest of the review to keep it unbiased.

EDIT:Did I mention that a lot of the game (80%)’s players are all Russian? Just a warning, if you don’t speak Russian you won’t make any big progress in this game.

This game started out good, It had great graphics, it had some-what pleasing gameplay, it had some interesting features in it…

But then the logic killed it, and the money whoring…

There is already a gate in my city…but I need to RESEARCH a gate key just to open the damn gate?! This is just one of the many illogical things I have found in this game…

There is a mission where you must wait for reinforcements to arrive… I’ve secured all enemy spawn points enough to not have to watch the screen. I watched two movies while waiting for reinforcements that never came… 4 hours of waiting and nothing. Either this mission is unbeatable or I’m missing something.

Win That War!

Win That War!

While this game has crashing and freezes (to be expected from early access), it also has storming enemy bases with hundreds of laser tanks, fun base construction, neat progression trees and interesting squad options that allow a range of tactics. I really enjoy the art style although my only familiarity with retro sci-fi styling comes from Futurama and the odd episode of Star Trek: Voyager. The opportunities for co-operation extend far beyond the scope of regular RTS games as multiple players can be landing and contesting different territories all at once with bonus cash getting paid out at certain conquest landmarks making it both fun and lucrative to work together. The population limit is currently set at 250 per territory per player, so with 9 players contesting a region the battles can get huge and are very satisfying to watch. It is pretty cheap to setup extra squads letting you contest large chunks of a planet single-handedly.

This game is dead. So if you like to play online: Dont buy this game!

Singleplayer (against AI is still available).

So if you like playing singleplayer and love strategy games, this game is yours. But I please you to wait until its on discount. 20 € is just the full price (including multiplayer wich dont work anymore). So recommed only to buy at like 6€ and less.

I played fair enough some time back in 2017. I also created a workshop guide (in German) if you like to know more:

Good to have Ministry of War back again! Yes, this is P2W, but at least, believing or not, you can have a good fun playing as F2P at this game.

being a constant player of around 39 minuites i can say that this game is better than every dating website. it instantly made 34 female homosapiens become attracted to me. I can now dissown anime while fighting in the waters of mars whilst building wind traps and generating metal from nowhere. this game allows for me to breach scp containment whenever i want because it is so stunning with its graphics its almost like i am playing on my nes one suggestion is that camera is hard to controll and makes me slightly wish for death

Another rare RTS game that comes with style! I have seen nothing wrong with this game so far from the time I’ve spent and my only complaint is the UI and controls, they’re… A bit sturdy? I suppose that is the word I’m looking for. The camera movement is a bit stiff while the selection and deselect should be more sensitive due to the fact I sometimes click RMB multiple times yet still have it selected, and the UI needs to be either rendered to a nice resolution so it does not look so pixelated as well as the ability to remove/adjust background transparency. Other than this, I give it a 9.5/10 and I would suggest it to any RTS Gamer like my self who wants to try a fresh product such as this!

BATTLESHIP APOLLO

BATTLESHIP APOLLO

UPDATE: Now that I have 170+ hours in the game and Parallel Space has stated that there will be no major changes to BSA until full release, I think it’s time for me to give an update.

Simply put, the effort put into BSA’s weekly updates has been phenomenal. The team at Parallel Space is extremely responsive to community feedback, and the weekly updates (that have since stopped for now) provide enough new content or changes to keep the community excited. Parallel Space stated that they wanted the community to shape the game, and I personally believe that they listen to our opinions (much to the chagrin of Hades' Star players).

It’s only right that I update my review from Early Access to address the state of the game as it is now. As always, if you’re the type of person who immediately gets furious when they encounter a mobile game in the world (regardless of how well designed or deep it is) then this isn’t for you. That’s okay, there’s plenty of other games out there.

If you’re still here, this is my pitch:

Parallel Space is very good at taking familiar genres, cutting to the heart of what makes them fun to play, and polishing that experience to a mirror shine. Their games reward patience and thought.

SAGA

SAGA

When i used to play this it wasn’t a terrible game. But it wasn’t great either. And the Steam description for it is slightly misleading (likely not intentionally). And there’s some history of this game people should know.

First while you can play this game for free with a few basic starting units and spells, to get more and the top units and spells especially, requires long, long periods of grinding to get gold to buy them with (this could take weeks, months or years for the best units) or else buying the unit or spell cards with real money, or buy booster packs of cards with real money. And it cost a fair amount of real money.

Real player with 197.8 hrs in game

ITS BAD.

SAGA was originally let loose on the world back in 2007 and while its visuals were decent for the time and the music was good the game eventually died in 2011.

Rejuvinated and reborn 6 months ago and thrust here on steam no less, SAGA is back!

I’m not going to lie, I was happy to see it return and my old account even still worked, how minted is that?

But the cynicism crept in slowly and thickly the more I played.

The game crashes, a lot! You won’t recieve any error message and if you are above and beyond the minimum specs as you no doubt was even when the game came out originially then its even more boggling how unoptimized it is that even a high end system can chugg along trying to run it.
