Clash of Robots

Clash of Robots

interesting fighting game with lots of different robot characters - each of them having its own name, intro, is interestingly animated, has its own strengths and weaknessess - they all overall look like a characters of some cartoon series, far from having too much violence.

i love this type of low-polygonal graphics, the way arenas are made, each having different interior looks. perhaps the only drawback this game has its own currency that you can grind or loot - seems to be little unbalanced.

Unusual fighting game! It catches its atmosphere and interesting ideas in mechanics, many of which I have not seen in any other game. Loved the lightsabers. Unusual combo system: action-pause-action, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

Of course, there is still room for the game to grow, but this is not a reason to miss it! I advise you to try, because you have not seen fighting games with lightsabers)

Pretty good, well-developed fighting game, very unusual, but also very cool, in my opinion, the battle mechanics. I liked the animation and visual presentation, the graphics are pleasing to the eye. I definitely recommend buying

Honestly, i like the game. I think it’s fun. Yea, it’s really basic but i like it. It’s worth a shot for no money. Glad i didn’t listen to the reviews.

Edit - So I played 20 hours now and I still like it. I dont know why people think its terrible. I mean the graphics aren’t good, but I enjoy the combat. Punch button, kick button, block button. You string together combos. You customize a string of punches and a string of kicks and when you press the punch button it does the string, the kick button does the kick string. I don’t work for the company, not getting any benefits by saying this. Thing is it’s free and it takes 2 seconds to download and try. If you hate it you hate it, if you think it’s fun it’s fun. If you need good graphics in a game, you’ll probably look at it and think it’s hideous but if you can look past that and have fun with gameplay in a basic streetfighting simulator, it’s fun.

Ok so where the I start? First of all the big benefit with this game is that it is Free to play. Secondaly this game IS NOT pay 2 win, It simply has things like punches and kicks you can upgrade by earning respect which you earn through playing more matches, I have found myself come accross people with better clothes and abilities and beat a few in a 1v1 situation. It really isn’t Pay 2 win it’s more of a case of investing time into a game to make yourself better. Thirdly the devs are currently active which is good so you can report any technical issues or share your thoughts to them through social media.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

A game I have over 700 hours in, made youtube content for and have semi retired from touching now. What do I think of it? It’s all over the place frankly. Some things it does right and others it does awfully, but ultimately it’s the brand name and the concept that keeps it going with players even now.

It’s another 3d arena anime fighter on the surface, but also an action rpg in disguise, It’s one of the few anime properties in the world which is so well known that some don’t even see it even as anime anymore, that’s how normalised it is.

I’m writing this review after the latest DLC that was released. Legendary Pack 2, granting us quite a few new characters, some awesome Skills, and more. The story isn’t bad and from the cliffhanger, it’s not quite done yet… which I’m not sure if it’s distressing or comforting. I love this game, probably more than any other Dragon Ball game that I’ve played. I don’t do PvP for my own personal reasons, but the PvE with PQ’s, the main story, the side stories. It’s all so much fun. But one thing I will say, is maybe it’s time to put the old girl to sleep.

I very much love this game, especially the combat system and being able to punch a ball with my transformer. I would very much recommend this game to anyone who has very little social life and wants to play some tournaments. The developers are very friendly and the smaller community base is great.

I feel like the main reason people dislike the game or get put off is due to the high skill ceiling and how hard it is to get used to the controls, the game may have a ball in a giant arena but it is nothing like “ahem” Rocket League with how the mechanics work and rotations. If you have the time to put in, play the game and meet some new people.

First off, the game is free, seriously, it’s free and it’s fun and most certainly worth a try, with all multiplayer games the more players the better!

I have played this game since November after meeting some of the team at TwitchCon and playing it then. I purchased the game then for $14 and would gladly pay again. The game has always been really fun to me. Since then they’ve done a LOT of work into making this a really smooth and shiny game. They’ve been listening to feedback from those of us who’ve played on the discord games platform and implemented or changed almost everything that was needed. Most will compare to this to Rocket League but it genuinely has fresh new mechanics and game play to it. The best description I can come up with is usually Battle Bots and Hockey. There’s a lot of sports related mechanics and systems at play though.

THIS REVIEW WILL GO STRAIGHT THROUGH EVERYTHING

GOODS :

  • Fully free to play, will never be pay2win ;

  • The spirit of Team Fortress 2 mixed with Worms and Smash Bros ;

  • The best community i’ve ever known, old players giving thousands of weapons to new players and advices on global chat… Rare thing nowadays ;

  • 6 balanced classes you can customize with hundreds of hats and accessories ;

  • 9 different game modes (some will come back for events such as Zombie-Mode and Boss-Battles) ;

Real player with 249.3 hrs in game

This is one great game, with no p2w. The game, as you’ve probably seen in other reviews, feels like a mix between Team Fortress 2 and Worms. You can get all weapons with crafting, and can get the ones you want first quite fast with crafting and trading. Skins and other shop items can be won through a lottery, which requires 5 tickets to play, and you get 2 tickets per day if you do your 3 daily quests, which takes little time. Not only that, but new players won’t be in a disadvantage since the default weapons are balanced so they are just as good as other weapons. You will end up liking one weapon more than others though, so that’s up to you. But nonetheless, this is a great game and all it’s missing is a bigger community. Give it a try.
