MIR4
This game has a lot of potential but it is overrun with bots and there is nothing being done about it. Bots have been an issue from the start of the game and all it would take is a few minutes of active attention on each server per day to identify them and ban them. Even if you dont get them all the first day the numbers will dwindle quickly. Normally you could just play around the bots but these bots are actually taking up the most valuable resource in the game. This resource can either be mined, received as a quest reward, or purchased. The resource is used in over 90% of all crafting, enchanting, upgrading your character in anyway, etc. The bots are able to teleport, and knock you off of the resource without actually damaging you. This wouldn’t even be ok if they did damge you so that you can kill them and get your resource back, because there are so many bots they are programed to have one knock you off and another take the resource that way you cant kill the one who got your resource. Even if you do kill them, they can resurrect and teleport back to the node in seconds where it should take them several minutes to get back on auto run. Another issue is that pvp is so heavily punished in this game that if you kill a bot that was there just to take your resource and not damage you, then you end up suffering more because you can no longer gain xp at full value. Thats right, the pvp penalty effects your growth as a player which is another thing the bots dont care about as they are just after the resource. Once you gain negative propensity because of killing a non hostile bot you are then freely targeted by other players while you try to get rid of the negative propensity. The penalty for killing one none hostile bot is -999 propensity which means you need to kill 400 monsters within 5 levels of you to get back to getting full xp again.

Typical auto-quest game with tedious quests to repeat over. Traps to pay at level 30 - 40.
So many hackers ruining game-play across all servers.
I’m few days into the game and here’s my take on the above.
At level 30+, you will face the problems of having no slot to keep all the important items.
I think this is deliberately designed so people would have to pay some bucks to buy more slots to keep all the items. It becomes very annoying to progress if you don’t pay for extra slots.
At level 40, if you are free-to-pay, you will experience super slow down in quest completion as your starting gears (with free-to-pay upgrade along the way) and stats improvement started to hit the bottleneck. The time to complete each quest becomes 2x-3x and the story quest also become much harder. Yet another trap for you to either go back to auto farming materials for a long time to get a rare item or pay to buy “blue rare starting sets” at the cost of $29.99.

Absolver
There’s something about it. the fighting style and technique is well done. I like the soundtracks the most. Looking at the ruins you feel like a part of it.

Beatdown Brawler
Interesting idea but mediocre delivery. Controls are imprecise and ruin the experience. The Stages are simple. You beat some generic enemies and then fight a boss who is basically the same as the generic enemies but with way more health. The traps are kinda just there. Sometime you can get the enemies to get hit by them. Which is a good thing cause they run away and try to get behind you too much. And you have no kind of AOE attack. You get what you pay for. It is early access so maybe there will be some small improvements.

It says controller support, but it’s not responding in the game. Which is annoying, because the mouse control system is terrible as I prefer controllers for action gaming. At times, the system even stops responding to any and all input when using the mouse… for no reason.
Not sure I like the “lock on” system for targetting. Get a couple people and they always get behind you, especially with random spawn points (not to mention some of the maps are no larger than a walk-in closet). You can’t attack the one your locked on because they run away, allowing easier access for their friends to attack you from behind. Even on the easiest setting, it’s almost impossible to win consistently.

Slash or Die
I gotta say, I really like this game. You control one of three characters (warrior, berserker and mage, although you have to complete the first boss to unlock the berserker and the second and third to unlock the mage), each with different mechanics,
stats and upgrades. Using just the mouse you can maneuver your hero and perform an attack, which costs mana, to kill enemies that keep spawning. The enemy diversity is good, each one with different attack types and harder enemies appear as you progress through the story.

This is a very disappointing game, can’t say it’s THAT bad, you decide:
+The one and only plus - battle mechanics - 1st time I’ve seen it in indiegala minigame made by the same person I guess, and what can I say - there it was WAY better - to move around you click left MB, to dash and kill you click right MB - now about the problems of the game
-You can’t dash while moving - you have to release LMB if you want to click RMB - like, what’s the problem? When a lot of enemies around you even the slight stop can kill you.

A single short loop of battle music repeated ad nauseum.
Lackluster gameplay with very little player influence on the outcome.
No sound effects to go with the attacks.
The English translation is kind of a mess.
Avoid until they make a bunch of fixes.

Beat ‘Em Up
Old style beat em up game in story mode. Nice graphics and easy to control. Makes really fun!
Would like to see more characters and not just different clothing. And a 2 Player mode. This one could be cooperative or in an arena.
Until now, a good work.

Eight Dragons
It’s still in early access, but this is already one of the best fighting games i have played. It looks and sounds like it is right out of the nineties, my era, like a Streets of Rage game that Sega or the other publishers never got around to making. I really love it for that, and so many other reasons. Its a shame there are not more games of this style.
With One or Two players it is a kind of tactical game where you pick off the enemies as quickly and as efficiently as you can.
You cannot just wade in hammering that fire button. You have really got to think about it. Do i go left first or right first ?

Eight Dragons certainly has already come a long way since it’s first Early Access launch back on April 23, 2019! The team has been actively considering the feedback and constructive criticism provided by the growing community and the game is shaping nicely. At first it was a bit bare minimum, however it was still a solid experience game-play wise. Enemy collisions when thrown into other enemies has improved, Individual unique animations have been reworked for each character, the ability to pick up and throw obstacles is now present, the difficulty has been reworked, new level design elements have been added, and overall game-play mechanics have improved to further expand upon the decently executed engine that was built prior. This game has since seen consistent updates and it looks like it will get better and better as time passes.
