Chop It
Chop It is a fresh take on the VR rythm genre. It is distinguished by its style (Eastern Dojo with ‘Fro Sensei), and by how you play (chopping through wood blocks and punching through cinderblocks that can be thrown towards 11 destination all in front of you).
It has a small campaign to play through. Unfortunately, part of the campaign I don’t like is having to turn when playing medium and hard difficulties. Turning is unwieldy due to wire management, and how when you turn, you may find yourself no longer in the position to hit the blocks easily and will have to adjust your position again to do so. The game doesn’t allow you to turn this off in the options.

Don’t let the developer name fool you, this game is definitely worth “breaking your hands” over.
To be short, it’s a great arm, shoulder, and torso workout, just need to be careful not to hit anything. You might “Chop It”.
So, what’s this game about?
You’re a martial arts student and your sensei has decided the best way for you to learn is to throw every wood panel and cinderblock in the dojo at you, and have to chop and fist your way through them all at a beat. Pretty brutal sensei but whatever works, right?

Kisaragi no Hougyoku
The premise of this game is the most forced romance plot I’ve ever seen. Ever.
The translation is atrocious, there are rampant errors in the script, there’s very little use of visuals to aid the writing, there are no choices to be made, and the music is primitive.
The fact that the game is glitched and sticks you in an infinite loop where you can’t advance is actually a blessing. Even though this is an indie game created on a small budget, it’s still inexcusably bad.

Kongfusion
I purchased this game as soon as it was available in Steam, I had it on my Wishlist because I enjoy playing rhythm games. You will see red and blue and you will think, wait a second, this is familiar.. but actually it feels different from the beginning. Who doesn’t like to punch, slice and hit Kung fu masters? flying to you, running, trowing things at you and you need to dodge these beams that move in circular ways. The game starts with a tutorial and you have 3 songs with different backgrounds. Easy, medium and difficult mode, you need to finish the easy one to move to the next ones. I want to keep an eye on this game and be engaged with the dev team in Discord because I see a lot of potential. I already played 2.5 hours and it will be in my workout rotation. I expect to see more songs and more difficult levels in the future and why not custom songs for us to map! i recommend this game because I believe it will get better and better with time.

Do you like rhythm games? Buy this!
Do you like Pistol Whip? Buy this!
Kongfusion is kind of like a melee Pistol Whip. The game has you on rails and you battle alien ninjas to the tune of some really good beats. You have three weapons: fist, staff and a sword and shield. It isI so satisfying to punch or slice the ninjas!!!!!!!! It WILL give you a workout! Buy it. Buy a copy for a friend. Just a fantastic experience!

This game is awful, tried it on normal, there is no chance of enjoying it. Then played on ( easy ) bit insulting to the people that have bought it as almost all have found it difficult,I get a prodigy of around 94 and start making money and then the companies collapse, what a waste of my time. I understand why the share thing is there but it’s set out is awful, I would like a refund, I bought it when reduced and I can see why it is reduced.

Shaolin vs Wutang
TL:DR This game is easy fun and the best money I have ever spent on a fighting game.
JaeLee is a one person army who is giving Capcom and SNK and Sega a run for their money.
Long version
This game is extremely customizable both graphically, in terms of difficulty level, and in terms of the game play. All the basic moves are availabe in an in game help screen and very useful.
GRAPHICS :
There is a basic graphics level screen with a low to high pc scale setting and resolution, and a more advanced settings screen for those who want to poke around and customize. There is also one grahical setting “Battle Damage” in the games settings screen which I recommend turning off if your fights lag.

Now THAT is what I call a cool game. As a big fan of the good old martial arts movie classics, I instantly had to buy it when I found out about Shaolin vs Wutang.
The art style is just beautiful, incredibly well done, and when looking at the characters (18 in total and more to come) and their specific Kung Fu styles, I feel like being in one of those kick-♥♥♥ flicks I loved to watch as a kid and now as an adult. And come on, who didn’t wish to be able to fight like that? Now here is your chance. Amazing moves are available, worthy of the Golden Harvest era.

Beatdown Brawler
Interesting idea but mediocre delivery. Controls are imprecise and ruin the experience. The Stages are simple. You beat some generic enemies and then fight a boss who is basically the same as the generic enemies but with way more health. The traps are kinda just there. Sometime you can get the enemies to get hit by them. Which is a good thing cause they run away and try to get behind you too much. And you have no kind of AOE attack. You get what you pay for. It is early access so maybe there will be some small improvements.

It says controller support, but it’s not responding in the game. Which is annoying, because the mouse control system is terrible as I prefer controllers for action gaming. At times, the system even stops responding to any and all input when using the mouse… for no reason.
Not sure I like the “lock on” system for targetting. Get a couple people and they always get behind you, especially with random spawn points (not to mention some of the maps are no larger than a walk-in closet). You can’t attack the one your locked on because they run away, allowing easier access for their friends to attack you from behind. Even on the easiest setting, it’s almost impossible to win consistently.

Ninjas Busters: Whack A Ninja
When whack-a-mole meets Ninjas. Discover “Whack A Ninja”, an arcade-type indie game created by Chris Braibant. Beat all the ninjas in this intense, action-packed game, in the pursuit of the best score and sadistic pleasure of experimenting with all the ways to eliminate those cowled suckers.
Spirit Fighters
Poor design (it lacks the fluidity of other games). Originally I purchased it due to the Linux compatibility, but now I installed Skull girls and it’s much more easy to play (with a Dualshock4 controller).

Majikoi! Love Me Seriously!
Was an instant buy for me but didn’t expect it’ll be like this….
Majikoi….YES YES YES YES! Finally, they actually did an official localization of this gem! And to bring it to steam as well! Nice going Minatosoft. Tried this game years ago using the fan-translation patch which was done splendidly by the translation team and got instantly hooked by the myriad amount of characters personality and while the story might seem generic in the sea of school life themed VN, they still did a wonderful job in delivering it and made it captivating as well. The steam version, however….I have mixed feelings for this one.

We live in a society, where a free fan translated game is superior to the same game on Steam. Wow
I want to support the devs who created a great game but these kinda half baked product isn’t doing it any favours.
You buy the Steam version, you’re getting choppy game with voices being removed for important side characters especially villains that are important to the game and changing the names for characters as well.
HENCE, must get the DLC patch from JAST USA (why it isn’t on steam though smh) and voice restoration patch to add better translation and voices so you can experience this game fully as it was meant to be. Similar to mods, but these are necessary mods that will make you mad why they didn’t do it well, idiots.
