*updated after completion

This game does a lot right but does suffer from some minor bugs and glitches. Please keep in mind that at the time of my review, the game has been out for about 2 days and the game is in early access. I’m sure most of the bugs and glitches I mention here will be fixed down the road.

The pros in no order -

  • The music is really damn good.

  • The level design (or at least the levels I have played so far) are really well done, varied, and well thought out. So many nook and crannies to dig through and really pushes you to try your best to find the secrets. Pro tip - the secrets are worth looking for, except one.

Just beat this game, and I gotta say, this was one unique and fun experience. The game is a little clunky here and there but theres really not all that much jank. The developers are still patching and updating it.

The gunplay and movement is where this game shines and excels. You got your basic arsenal of weapons for a FPS but the developers really went above and beyond making each weapon have its own Kur twist. I think the voiceacting was great. The story, I kinda get. The ending came suddenly, and that was kinda surprising in a bad way.

if your wondering if this game is worth the price, take a moment to read my review and find out.

so this game reminds me of the simple yet outstanding games you can find on Xbox 360, this is a real time strategy with user-controlled unit, simple to learn and fun to play.

best with a controller (Xbox 360 controller i used) and also works with the keyboard.

offline skirmish with lots of maps to chose from.

a short campaign that works like a tutorial.

local-coop.

local-VS mode.

overall its worth a purchase. thanks for reading have a great day!

Only One Burn

Only One Burn

-=ONLY ONE BURN=-

Only One Burn is a nice little lander game!

Remember those? Where you had to land your ship on a planet with limited fuel?

ONLY ONE BURN brings back that old genre and put a twist over it.

Instead of managing your fuel drop by drop until you land soflty, you will spend all your fuel in… well, only one burn. It will leave you with only your maneuvering thrusters so you can adjust your fall!

Yeah, I said fall! You will not land gently on this game AT ALL! Your ship is made with an alloy of adamantium and mitrhil so, no matter how hard you crash on your base, it will not be destroyed. But only if you hit your landing pad. If you miss, you will meet something harder than your ship.

This game has a fun premise, and I was able to buzz through all of the levels in about one hour. My playthrough was far from perfect in terms of the accuracy and ratings of my landings.

I think that there is a lot of replayability here since you can complete missions even with a rough landing. Many of my landings were rough, and I can totally see my self sinking many hours into trying to get a perfect, centered soft landing on every level. The game is definitely lenient on registering landings, I cleared many stages by hanging off the edge of the landing and holding on for dear life for the second or two until the game registered a landing. This seemed a bit odd to me at first, but I was glad to be able to clear all of the levels without needing a crazy amount of retries or feeling like it was too easy. The controls were nice and snappy, and the graphics are pretty nice. I especially enjoyed the purple planet.

Grow Big (or Go Home): Ultimate Edition

It is pretty good, if you are unsure, get it on sale, give it a refund if you don’t like it but i think it is a pretty neat game

Time management crossed with puzzle - Making sure plants get enough sunlight and water within constraints of a moving day schedule, with reflective mirrors. Stressful… I don’t have a green thumb.
