Mortal Glory
Mortal Glory is a fantastically fun little game where you manage a team of gladiators in a fantasy setting, competing to achieve the glory of victory and appease the Emperor and masses alike. The gameplay follows a simple but addicting structure:
-
Hiring gladiators
-
Equip/upgrade your team with items, skills, and training
-
Go forth into glorious battle
-
Encounter a random town event which may aid or debilitate you for the following match
Within this structure, the player focuses on economic/team management and battle strategy used in other turn-based tactics games. A lot of the fun comes from making decisions about who to hire and what to buy with your limited resources. Perhaps you focus on beefing up one gladiator that can take on multiple foes and then save money to hire stronger allies. Maybe you are able to buy a fantastic item that offsets a cheap gladiator’s weaknesses. Before entering the arena, you can also see the stats of the foe you’re about to face, so you can plan accordingly. As your team develops, you may have different members specialize into classic roles, (tank, mage, etc.) or create hybrids to deal with multiple situations.

Mortal Glory has meaningful tactics with a gentle learning curve. What it lacks is tedium. These fights go fast, and when you’re not caving in skulls, you’ve got a bit of light shopping to set yourself up for success. No deep intricacies here. Just kill and keep moving.
If you find Mortal Glory too easy, you can make use of its challenge toggles along with the additional Glory ranks (think Slay the Spire Ascension). Alternatively, there’s a Relaxed difficulty for an easier time, though I don’t know how easy that actually is. Tactical vets should have no trouble starting with Normal after a gander at the small tutorial.

Hockey Manager 20|20
The game is as deep of a hockey sim as I’ve ever seen, however no NHL license is a bit of an immersion killer for me, because I spend more time editing than I do playing. Another downer for me is not having the ability to choose between Euros and Dollars or KG’s and LB’s. When there is a complete overhaul to the US and Canadian teams available in the workshop then I’ll be more interested in playing, but until then it’s FHM for me. If you don’t mind the lack of an NHL license and or editing for months, then the game might be for you. If you’re like me though, I can’t recommend it.

I like the editing options, there is a lot of play editing possibilities and you can even save and load edited databases. you can even get some addons here https://wasserlasser.com/
Although u might be spending a long time in the editor, the overall gameplay is nice and chill.

The beginning of the XX century brought us new opportunities. Show off the qualities of an excellent leader, as you will become the head of the car factory. It is up to you what will the future of the automotive industry look like.
You will participate in the process of creating a car from the beginning to the end. Test manufactured cars as soon as they leave the production line.
Behind every car you create are people, more or less experienced. It is your responsibility to make the factory run at full capacity. Assign tasks accordingly to the skills of employees.
The development of the production line is the keystone. Start with individual stations to turn them later into a group of smaller, more-effective positions. Who knows, maybe in the future you will become a completely independent plant that produces even the smallest screw.
In big business, it is easy to stay behind. Research new technologies and employ supervisors to ensure a top speed production.
Brewer
This game is cheap and kind of rough but it’s strangely compelling. You’re a brewery owner and you buy pubs and sell the beer that you make in those pubs. Someone mentioned “genuinely interesting decisions” or some such in a review of this game here and that’s stuck with me and it’s true. You have to decide which recipes to learn, decide whether to buy a pub and when to upgrade it, decide which beers to brew, and juggle deliveries so you don’t run out.
Is the best $5 game on Steam? I doubt it. But I find myself coming back to it now and then when I want to play for a few hours and don’t want to get into anything that is too involved.

Overview
Until REXCurse starts getting noticed by developers, ol' Il Pallino is going to have to review games from his own library. One such game that absolutely needs a review is Brewer. Set in a fictional area within Russia, the player starts a brewery and brews beer which is primarily sold through bars owned by the player, but every so often an opportunity (similar to contacts in Omerta - City of Gangsters) to sell beer at greater prices to out of town entities comes up every so often. As with any management sim, the player starts out small and goes on to conquer the gaming world by owning pubs all over the map.

CoffeeBiz Tycoon
I own this game since a while, but now, with the Alpha 2 out I felt compelled to write a review to give the game and the developer a big thumb up!
Now we got a game, even if in alpha, and a really promising game: already playable and enjoyable, no crash so far, great isometric graphic, loads of options and choiches, full of detailed useful information and statistic, to help you developing your coffee business!
If you like tycoon and managements games, do not miss this game..it is going in the right direction and it seems the developer is really working hard to give us a nice polished little tycoon gem game!!

Lemonade Tycoon clone. However in its current state this game is barely playable, and updates don’t seem to come around. Almost 4 months into the release and nothing is happening, really.
The price asked for this game is really a disgrace, considering the current content and pace of development, and I can’t help but feel I’ve been robbed.
Doesn’t Steam have any quality assurance at all on what’s being released?
Avoid this.

Handball Manager 2021
Awesome game! Finally a good handball game, especially at times, when we can’t play real handball.
It’s fun to progress with your favourite club and create a team of all your favoutire players. You also learn a lot about managing / coaching a real club / team.
Unfortunately it only has the real players for German, Spanish and Czech leagues, but with the editor mode, the community can create the other teams. I will share a data set including all Championsleague teams as soon as I’m done.
There are still some little bugs and crashes in the game, but only one week after sending a bug report, most of them were already fixed.

The best handball simulator on the market! Although, to be fair, that’s sadly not saying much when looking at the handball games available currently.
The game offers all the options that one could want from being a handball coach. Additionally, the ability to customize your experience through the editor certaintely gives the game a lot more depth and replayability.
However, there are notable flaws. This mainly has to do with the sometimes poor English grammar as well as the fairly outdated graphics - both of these aspects really take you out of the experience. I have also experienced a few crashes from time to time which has resulted in a bit of loss in my game progression. Lastly, the lack of certain official team licenses as well as the sometimes seemingly inconsistent match simulation are also worth noting.
