Pretty good! The crafting is well thought and original. The enchanting cards really take me back to Legends of Mana

Fun little game if you like to watch auto-battles and try to figure out the best gear and setup to advance further.

The adventure mode is very bare-bone but the puzzles are interesting (although repetitive) and it is a good way to farm for gear and money, especially early in the game.

I got over 20 hours of fun until I felt I maxed out on gear and could not push further.

But the game just got an update with new, much more expensive gear that should allow me to push my champions a little further and squeeze more fun out of this game.

Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection

At first, it may seem like a very boring game. Which it did.

I got this game in January 2019, and I started properly playing it almost a year later. I’m honestly disappointed I didn’t get into the game earlier.

When you start playing the campaigns, they seem very easy and boring-ish. Well, honestly, they are boring at times. Usually just waiting around for the money to go up.

The online-part is of course GREAT when playing with friends. The game isn’t entirely polished, and that just makes it more fun.

When you look at this game in relation to it’s predecessors, it absolutely feels like a downgrade. While the visuals are absolutely stunning by comparison, the tools needed to customise your zoo and make it your own are completely missing - something that is an absolute staple in the park management genre.

Zoo building is ‘modular’ - that is, rather than building up your zoo piece-by-piece and placing fences, paths, trees, etc etc. yourself as you would like it, you build up your zoo by placing down pre-built ‘modules’ such as animal enclosures, food & drinks stands, plazas, and the like. Where in the original instalments to the Zoo Tycoon series the design of your animal enclosures was completely up to you, in this game you are left with only preset, premade enclosures of varying sizes to put your animals in, with the only customisable features being the placement of animal care items - which, even then, can only be placed on a limited number of predetermined ‘slots’ in the enclosure. Mini-exhibits have no such slots and are simply placed as-is. You cannot change the building itself, for example, the colour is preset. The customisation is limited down to which benches and plants you place down in the customisation slots (again, predetermined) on that building, which are clearly themed and you will likely only have one or two options that fit the theme of your zoo. You can at least change up the theming by changing the style of the walls, trees, and paths on each module in your park, and this can be done globally or on individual sections.

Ok; forst of all I want to thank everyone who helped me get this game up and running, a particular thanks to mayamak who was first on the scene to help, thank you very much :) Now that I have been able to play the game for a while; there are pros and cons to it, just like there are in most games. For anyone who is having issues getting this to run, the tips I got from mayamak and others were fantastic!

This game is not now like it was in at launch. It has now turn lights, police fines for crossing the red light or hitting cars. You can disable those from the options menu. You can also turn off the rain in the options becasue that was very annoying :)

You can drive a lot of machines in this game if you dont mind grinding the experience to unlock them all. You gain experience ONLY when you are doing the jobs yourself but you can have employes who make money for you as log as you have the trucks available for them.

Football Manager 2021

The only notable improvement to the game is in the match engine, especially the trophy presentations and added match day detail. However, there are still annoying bugs that irritate me, the main ones being:

-Wingers running at goal from out wide, electing to shoot from the tightest of angles rather than pass.

-Attacking players ballooning headers miles over the bar from point blank range for no apparent reason.

-Players inexplicably running at half pace and losing out on a ball which even your 90 year old nan could get to.

TLDR – I dont think the ME is as good as others are saying, not a fan of the UI but there’s a lot of FM in the game. Meh out of 10.

The overwhelming positivity on the match engine surprises me as that has not been my experience at all. Sure the animations look a bit better and we see some dinks now but there are really disappointing things that happen on the defensive side of the game which lead me to believe that the ME has regressed.

Defenders are incapable of dealing with long balls WHEN AN OPPOSITION PLAYER IS NEAR THEM. They either miss the header, misjudge the flight of the ball and see it sail over their heads or just watch the forward control the ball and run past them for a 1v1 (deeper defensive line caused the last one to occur more). It happens far too often.

Opinion

In my opinion, Rugby 20 is a great game. I am a huge rugby fan, and I enjoy playing this game. Despite all the hate and (former) bugs, it is still one of the best rugby games up to date. I have over 200 hours playing this game (8/4/2021) and it will most probably keep increasing over time. We have to respect Eko Software and we need to be grateful of rugby games - rugby is a very difficult and complex sport to reproduce in a rugby game, there are so many things in rugby, unlike football, like lineouts, scrums, running, passes, tackles. This is by far the best rugby game made by Eko, and far, far better than previous rugby games made in this series like Rugby 15 and Rugby 18.

Before i start know that i have lived and breathed rugby for 30 years, i know more than enough to give a verdict on this game so here goes…

GRAPHICS 6/10

Not great, could and prob should be a lot better than they are in 2020 for a £31 game

ANIMATIONS 5/10

just watch a replay of a player sprinting down the wing, the movements are laughable and poorly implemented

DIFFICULTY 3/10

This is where the game falls flat on its face, you have 3 levels…amateur, semi pro and pro. With amateur and semi pro you can easily win every ruck and force turn over after turn over, with pro you will struggle to make one turnover per match, not that this makes the game hard..it doesn’t. The game is easy even at pro level, i have yet to lose a single game in my first 3 seasons and i’m no games wizard.

I’ve been looking for a realistic ATC simulator for years. Although not perfect, this delivers the closest experience than any other games. The voice recognition is still a little buggy, and I’m assuming newer sp’s will fix the performance speed (occasionally, I’ll notice a little jerkiness in moving objects). I added on a realcolor program (not available on steam) to get the “real-life” airlines for each airport as well as the coloring of the planes match the current airlines paint schemes. I reccomend the real-traffic add-in as well (also not available on steam–darn).

Real player with 65.8 hrs in game

I love this game, personally. It has a high learning curve, but you’ll pick it up quickly if your passion for aviation or ATC (Air Traffic Controlling) is strong enough.

I’m neither a pilot or real ATC, just an enthusiast who spends hours watching aviation channels, and gaming channels that focused on this game. I truly wanted it, If you’ve watched videos on this topic, if you watch people play 30 minutes or an hour at a certain airport on youtube and wanted more? This game may be for you.

I say may because there are too many issues with game itself. EVEN IF you hit all the benchmarks above I still want you to be weary of this purchase.

This is so infuriating. Sick of being deducted 500 points for planes alerts when they take off and land on separate runways. Can never get into positive points tally. That fed up feel like deleting it from my system.

I do enjoy playing the game. But, Why would a game be made that can’t be saved ? if the player has to leave the game. not much you can do, but leave your computer on with game paused. or lose all the time spent playing to start all over again later if you quit the game. this is my main disappointment with Tower 3 D non Pro. Sure glad I didn’t purchase the Tower 3D pro version then find out no save option. I sure hope the developers can do an update and put a save option on the Tower 3 D games.

Let me begin with, I was one of the individuals who contributed to the Kickstarter to help this game become a reality. Heck, I remember when Sebastian was showing off his concept work using programmer art to demonstrate the systems he was working on. Then Garret hopped on the train and the game REALLY took off. I would liken this game to a beautiful fusion of the original Theme Park by Bullfrog and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. I will explain the how and why later on in my review. This game as a whole is a massive labor of love by everyone involved and it truly shines because of this.

Buckle up; it’s a lot of words!

I initially “reviewed” Parkitect back in 2016, while the game was still in it’s alpha state of development. Not a full-fledged review, more a preview. It would be unfair to judge something that isn’t done. Yet, back then, I felt the urge to write about this wonderful game (as will be clear when you read it below).

The alpha version in 2016, it was already really good. But it has always been good. The thing is, now, it has consistently gotten better - and better. Every month, somehow, the updates are exciting and interesting. Sometimes grand, sometimes small but helpful. Always stepping up from the excellent work that has been done before.

Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager

Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager

I almost let the most prominent Steam review here dissuade me from buying this game. It’s a shame that one so well written review completely misrepresents what this game accomplished and what game it really is. The reviewer really missed the point, or else it was before some updates and long since invalid. The game and its developers deserve better.

Puzzles just have one solution. This isn’t a puzzle. But it is much like chess, and there’s lots of ways to lose at chess when your opponent wants to win. Learning chess is fun, even if you never ascend to learning what the masters tell us: the number of openings with which you can plausibly win against a competent opponent is rather finite. Is chess still fun to play even when I don’t know the game that well? Yes it is. And if chess is a deal breaker for you, should you really be reviewing strategy games?

Real player with 146.2 hrs in game

This isn’t a game for everyone, but it certainly is the one for me.

In Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager, the player takes on the role of the administration of a space agency. Either NASA or the Soviet Space Agency, usually in competition with each other, or a fictional conglomeration of the two as the Global Space Agency (GSA). The goal, of course, is to land on the moon before your competitor, if playing NASA or as the Soviets–if you’re playing as the GSA the goal is simply to land on the moon by the end of 1973. Playing as the GSA replaces interagency competition with short term objectives set by political higher-ups, with give a small boost if achieved, but a moderate penalty if ignored. If a sandbox is desired with no pressure or competition, that is available too for all three agencies.
