Hyper Train Corporation

The game is incomplete, and was released the crudest way as possible. However it have a good premise, with an interesting engine wich allows it to grow and someday became a real game, today it is a shame to be sold full-price as a complete game, not as an alpha-test version.

Anno 2205™

Anno 2205™

A bold new direction for the Anno Series, but it’s going to be a hard pill to swallow…

We’re now several patches in, I’ve decided my old review no longer applies because frankly the game that’s taking shape from the patches is something new and interesting. It’s still Anno to an extent, but there’s a massive raft of changes. So let’s deal with the TLDR first and foremost.

If you want a multiplayer anno experience, right now this is not the game for you. Go back to Anno 1404 Venice. I wouldn’t even recommend Anno 2070 because in my extensive experience of the Anno series, 1404 is the stronger entry, Anno 2070 is too crufty, and too overloaded with some really strange ideas that just don’t quite work. Venice is a far more consistent, challenging and interesting experience, and you’ll find it a far more -fun- game to play. As a multiplayer game, and indeed, as a versus AI, 1404 wins against 2070 for that purpose.

*** SUPER UPDATED ***

I liked this game. But then the Tundra DLC released and suddenly I could no longer play it. No big deal, I guess, I was pissy but that didn’t make the base game bad.

All my attempts at getting a refund or a fix were ignored, which made me more pissy.

Now they’ve released a DLC that season pass and Gold Edition buyers will have to purchase.

THIS IS NOT OKAY UBISOFT.

UPDATED

It’s hard to give a review for this game.

I’m a big fan of previous Anno games, and I’ve spent a lot of time with Anno 2070, doing little side missions, replaying the main content, continuous games… I never did multiplayer, admittedly, because I’m not a huge fan of acknowledging other people even exist, let alone let them invade my game.

The game felt fresh, fun and challenging. If you skip the tutorial you will suffer punishment, but you will feel acomplishment as you make your way through the game and master it step by step.

Cyborg Mechanic

Cyborg Mechanic

Cyborg Mechanic is a simulation game where you face challenges as surgeon / mechanic working on cyborgs, bionic people and augmented humans. You will diagnose, repair and improve your customers’ bodies, as well as develop you workshop and acquire new equipment. You will operate in the underground, gaining fame and money – but also avoiding cyber-raids by the authorities.

Augment your clients

Your job is to make your customers happy by solving their problems. It’s your way to fame and money. And of course it’s all you live for. Your task, as a cyber mechanic, is not only to diagnose problems, but also to introduce modifications and improvements to bodies, minds and shells. But be careful as any procedure can end in your client suffering pain, disability, death or something even worse…

Assignments

Your clients works in the underground world – they are traffickers, bodyguards, soldiers, madmen addicted to implanting new cyberware, street samurais, mnemonics and more. Many of them have interesting stories to tell, but all of them want repairs or improvements. Job orders vary in their level of complexity and the equipment requires to complete the task. You don’t have to accept every client, but implanting augmentations is your way of life…

Augmentations

How’bout a russian mechanical arm from a decade ago. Maybe some wolverine-like claws of your own design. The most modern laser eyes are on offer. You also have high-end coprocessors. The list of implants requiring simple or very complex procedures increases with your skills, fame and resources. Over time, your clients' bodies, minds and shells won’t have any secrets for you…

Workshop management

Money is just a way to achieve your goal which is to create the best workshop in the city. What equipment will help you find more customers? Do you need to purchase a cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) right now or is it better to invest in a state of the art amputation saw first? Laser soldering iron or surgical scalpel – tough choice? Posters, colourful LEDs or slot machines? Cause looks are also important!

Cyberpolice

You work as an outlaw - without any license, out of control and not worrying too much about a sterile environment in your workshop. The more famous you are, the more illegal implants branded by you appear on the streets, the more vigilant the cyber police will be. Be sure they will be looking for you. Maybe they’ll lock you up right away? Maybe you can bribe them? Or maybe they will ask you for a small favour, who knows!

Mind Scanners

Mind Scanners

Mind Scanners is a fun and enjoyable game. It has a lot of interesting interactions with the people you encounter within the game. The gadgets are fun, but you really have to be strategic when using each one. By that, I mean you have to watch out for the patient’s stress & personality levels while ensuring that you can clear out as many insanity points in one go. Although the story is well-put together, some of the endings could’ve been better. Hopefully, there’s a possible expansion/DLC in the future. For the Normality and the Mind!

Honestly a super interesting game with puzzle like gameplay I actually enjoy. rare for me to like puzzle games, so this was a bit of a surprise to me, but the story was just so good I couldn’t put it down! I just wanted to know more!

Space Empires I

Space Empires I

I remember playing Space Empires way back ages ago, so I was pretty excited to pick the series on steam again and replay them.

Sadly, Space Empires I is NOT FUNCTIONAL on windows 10 at this time. It cannot process a single turn, crashing to desktop when ‘end turn’ is pressed. game load and save functions also do not work either.

This should have been tested more before release.

I had no idea Steam was carrying the Space Empires Series, and was incredibly shocked to see SE I and not SE II on the store list. So a little bit of history here. Aaron Hall back in 1993 was working on his personal project Space Empires and formed this game as a prototype for something bigger and in 1995. We got Space Empires II.

Space Empires II was technically the first product released to the public and I remember sending in a money order to purchase this game after playing the shareware forever back in the mid 90s. I also got the CD when buying the complete bundle with Space Empire 4 Gold back in the early 2000s. Which was the only way I knew at the time, on how you actually got the original Space Empires prototype.

Space Station Manager

Space Station Manager

This game has potential for sure. I’ve messed around at the begging trying to figure things out, at this point there’s no tutorial so you’ll have to spend some time figuring things out. This game seems quite unique and i love the concept, it’s still in alpha stage so don’t go in expecting a finalised game. I’d recommend the game, cant wait to see where it goes in the future ;)

This game is in early access and still has a ways to go but that being said I LOVE THIS GAME. I cant wait to see how this game shapes out cuz it will be amazing. It has amazing graphics. Totally lost myself for over three hours my first time starting the game. There are things it needs and needs to be approved on but i have seen worse games from AAA Studios for final release so i have high hopes for this. My twitch viewers also loved watching me play this. so much fun
